Andrew and team always provide excellent service and advice. I thoroughly recommend taking your vehicle to them for service or repair.

Very friendly, kept me informed as to what was happening with my car, and recommended other services. Promised to email an estimate, which they did. Only downside is it takes a long time to get an appointment, because they are so busy.

We purchased our Mercedes SUV from EuroMotorcars in Bethesda, Maryland, a legendary dealer with an incredible service department. Since moving to coastal Maine we have felt very well supported by the excellent crew at Rockport Automotive. They are efficient and predict well the amount of time an appointment will take (and often finish more quickly). They have done a variety of work for us and always done with high standards and clear communication. It is a great business.

Rockport Automotive is the best! Even though they were swamped, they worked my "dead" car in, found the problem--a $2.50 charge strap and replaced my battery-- and had me back on the road in no time. Consistently, they take great care of my car at reasonable prices. They are dependable.

I just wanted to find out what the noise was that was coming from the front end of my 2014 Nissan. They told me what it was with fairly good certainty and said it was not a safety issue. I will be saving up to have the work done and appreciate the honest diagnosis!

Rockport Automotive was fabulous. My issue ended up to be covered by a manufacturer recall, so they suggested I take it to a dealer and have it fixed for free, rather than their repairing it and needing to charge. Honest, above and beyond....

These folks saved the day! Had plans to meet my best friend for a birthday hike and took a drive to meet her. Hit a rock on a dirt road and my car started making a horrible noise. Quickly googled nearby garages, pulled in to Rockport and they were able to look at it immediately, were super kind, professional, and explained everything to me. They also gave me insight several other unrelated issues with my car that I should get checked out in the future. Got me back on the road and was able to have a nice day with my friend as planned! Cannot thank them enough.

A little behind on the review, but wanted to make sure I did, because these people are great. We came into town for the toboggan championship on a flatbed tow truck late in the night on Thursday. By closing the next day they replaced 3 ball joints and did an alignment. The owner is very nice and helpful, and the mechanics are knowledgeable and good at communicating the problem. The shop is very clean and professional. Thanks again!

I brought my 2011 Audi Q5 there on a recommendation and have been extremely satisfied. Great honest people, with very skilled technicians. They quote fair estimates and stick to them. They also look your car over for problems you may not be aware of and let you know without using scare tactics. They even provide a very convenient free local shuttle service.

Eric & Jan Campbell have set remarkably high standards for service and professional atmosphere at their garage. I regard my proximity to them as a lucky thing and feel secure knowing my vehicle will be treated with utmost care with a conservative eye on MY expenses. Their staff is routinely pleasant, patient with explanations of the whys and wherefores of necessary repairs, courteous and exceptionally competent. Seek no further.

I would highly recommend Rockport Automotive. I have had a very positive experience getting my vehicle fixed with them. They do great work, they are professional and they take the time to explain what they worked on which I really appreciate. Their prices were fair and I am a very happy with the entire experience.

Worst service, had a ton of work done to my car only to have it start smoking and become a fire hazard once leaving the shop. Brought it back and they kept my car for over 2 months to the point where I had to find the part needed to get the process going. Way too expensive and they jacked up the price on the part I found by almost 90% and refused to reconsider the bill. Worst place ever. Edit: in response to your response, I did bring concern multiple times to your service manager as well as stated a review during the time of the incident and was called and told in a voicemail that I was “Wrong” for leaving that review, which was very unprofessional. I then called back and left a message explaining why I was so upset and never received any response. As for the previous work done, it was to get the car inspected, which they did while missing the fire hazard. It was also not just an “oil change” for the bill was approximately $1700 worth of work to receive the sticker and then an additional $600 to fix the fire hazard. As for the part, I had to find something, no matter where it came from and they had agreed to purchase it no problem. At the time I was a college student going without a car for months and was in no way helped during that time. My reasoning for responding to this review is that I want future customers to understand my frustration towards this mechanic shop and to have honest reviews before spending money and entrusting their vehicle to have quality work done to it.

I highly recommend Rockport Automotive for all your automotive needs. I have been a client for several years and have always found them to be honest, friendly and reliable. They have always responded to any problem I have had in a timely way. I also LOVE sharing the waiting room with Annie,the best yellow Lab.

Rockport Automotive was recommended to our family a few years ago when we moved to Maine from California. We've brought our cars to them since. They are friendly, professional, easy to deal with, and fast. (Easy to get an appointment and get the work done as quickly as possible.) Plus, the will always make you aware of other potential problems--such as expired inspection sticker and what might need to be done in order to pass inspection. I appreciate their service always.

I liked that along with my regular service, the staff at Rockport Automotive took the time to check my vehicle overall. During my most recent visit, I was glad to know that I needed a new air filter and back windshield wiper so I could take care of those things right away. Rockport Automotive's great service and attention is appreciated. :)

Thank goodness for Rockport Automotive! We were away from home for a much needed 3 days away. On the second day of our trip, we got a flat tire. Not familiar with any services in the area, we did a Google search for a tire repair shop closest to us. We found Rockport Automotive and called to find out if they could repair the tire while we waited. The service manager said that we could come and wait but recommended that since we had already put the donut tire on the car, we could leave it with him while we continued with our plans for the day and he would be sure to have the tire repaired within the couple of hours. We got to the shop, were well received, and felt very confident that the tire would be ready as promised. We went and had lunch as planed and returned to the shop to see if the tire was ready. The tire was ready and the service manager siad he would get the tire switched for us right away. In about 20 minutes, and a very comfortable, well attended wait, we were happily on the road again. We HIGHLY recommend Rockport Automotive!!! If we lived in the area, they would DEFINITELY be where we would get our cars serviced!

After all the difficulties we've had getting the aging suspension back into spec and handling well, your guys really nailed it this time.
