We were heading home a few hours away when our cargo trailer broke down. These guys were able to tow the trailer and fix a blown wheel bearing in a day to get us home. Thankful to come across great service when we needed it!
Terrible customer service. If we could rate them with zero stars, we would. When a death occurs and that person’s car gets towed (unknowing to us), one would expect a modicum of empathy. Instead we got the opposite. When we found out where the car was, we went to pick it up and they refused to take a check or credit card and didn’t care if we had to pay for another day “storage” cost since they close at 4 pm and weren’t going to wait for us to fly to the bank. Their storage area is a big outdoor yard and parking area. By then the charges were already up over $1,100. Despite all of this, I do hope that if he is ever in the same situation, he is treated with more dignity.
They are very mean and only think about money. They left me in the rain for almost an hour when I tried to get my car back and they refused to give it back to me and they kept telling me that their office was closed at 10 a.m. even though they were open 24 hours a day, and I stayed in the rain until the manager arrived because I wanted to call the police.
Everyone on the staff was more than helpful! Leah in the office was a cheerful face during a stressful time. The towing techs helped us above and beyond! Highly recommend when you have the option. Thanks to everyone on the AC Towing team!
10/10 service, they were quick to help, the girl i talked to on the phone was beyond sweet and the guy who towed my car was super nice, and helpful and knew what he was doing!
My husband was an hour and a half into his 4 1/2 hour trip when the serpentine belt in our Rav 4 shredded and the car engine began to smoke. They were unable to tow it at that very moment, so out of kindness, they dropped my husband off at the closest service center and worked with us to figure out all the details and payment. The car got delivered to our local mechanic (a hour and a hair away) the next morning and it was back with us promptly after that. The kindest towing company I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!! Superb!!! Thank you all!!
After our truck was involved in an accident AC came to the rescue. In my 20 years in the industry, I have never experienced such kindness, fairness, and willingness to help a struggling trucker. From the moment they arrived, they handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. Instead of taking advantage of a tough situation, they went above and beyond to make sure we were treated fairly and with respect. I had to have my 2009 Subaru legacy towed to Maggie's garage in farmingdale a week ago and they arrived quickly to my home to pick up my car and the driver was friendly too. I'd use their services again in the future if I need to be towed.
AC towing came promptly on Saturday PM on 295 southbound and expertly loaded my disabled boat and trailer and delivered it 8 miles away safe and sound. Great equipment and skilled drivers. Would recommend them to all.
AC Towing was incredibly fast responding to our need when our tire blew out. They provided a tow back to their garage and sold us a tire so we didn’t have to use the small spare with the vehicle. Exceptional customer service and care!

My daughter asked three times for them to tow her car home which was less than a mile away.
He took advantage of this young driver and did not do as she asked. He knew what he was doing by ignoring her.
Then when we went to office to get the car they wouldn’t take her payment because they wanted only cash. Just so they could keep the car longer no doubt. These guys are BIG scammers. Do NOT give them your business.
They did all this corruption just to gain the title to the vehicle. Beware!! Next one could be you.
Dave and his team are amazing and responsive! I was blown away by how efficient they were when I locked my keys in my car. In less than a half hour I was back on the road. Professional and great service, highly recommend!

We had to call AAA for a dead battery and fortunately for us, they sent AC Towing! We were so impressed by the quick response, and especially by Rick, the young man who took care of us. He charged our battery, which we then left the car running for twenty minutes, as he had instructed us. Unfortunately, the car would not restart, and it required another call to AAA, and a quick call back from Rick. He got us a battery ( which he had suspected might have to be replaced) came back and installed it for us! Thank you Rick from A C Towing! You were wonderful!
Today was definitely a Monday. Had a accident on the 295 and AC Towing was called to take the truck of the road. They got there fast and quickly loaded the truck on the flatbed. They gave me a lift to there tow yard with the truck. Not only did they give me a ride to the yard they had a great deal on some used cars that was able to get me home. Every one from the truck drive, the lady at the front desk, guys in the shop to the owner was amazing. They mad a bad day a lot easier. Thank you again guys for the help today.

I was stranded for 6 hours in wanye Maine. These guys picked me up after AAA said they had no tow drivers within a 30 mile radius. The lady Mary said they d be there in 1 hour they were there in ,30 mins and the driver was pretty good to.
They were upfront and honest about the price I had to pay cash cause aaa messed things up but got a recept and getting reimbursed

My daughter, a fairly new driver, broke down on a Friday night on 95S near Gardiner. She was terrified, and pulled off in a breakdown lane barely the width of her car. AC Towing was the closest and had a number of good reviews. Kam answered the phone on the 2nd ring, and he was on the highway getting the car barely 10 minutes after hanging up. He brought my daughter back to the yard so that she could wait until I got there to pick her up. They transported her car to the service shop we use in Saco that very night, and texted us to let us know the car had been delivered safely. I definitely recommend AC Towing and I’m grateful to Kam!
My car broke down on the highway while traveling, and AC towing was hired by AAA to tow me to a safe place. The man who towed helped me went above and beyond - he looked at my car to try to diagnose the issue, brought a mechanic to look at it, and when it was clear the car couldn't be fixed in that moment he towed me the 100 miles I needed to get home. I'm SO grateful to him, he really helped me out of a stressful situation. Highly recommend this company!
Called AC Towing when our trailer tire blew on the side of 295 on a 92 degree, busy Friday. They answered the phone with friendly service, and helped us right away. The gentleman who replaced the tire had great customer service and quickly got us safely back on the road. Excellent service!
We got a tow at the request of an androscoggin county sheriff.
2 young men showed up, refused to tow the vehicle to the Leeds address we requested because it was "too far" (13 miles) and said it would have to go to their shop in Gardiner....which is more than 13 miles....
When they finally agreed to tow the 3.3 miles to a friends house instead they went to strap the steering wheel down but were then found looking under our seats and rummaging through the interior.
They then charged us 200 dollars for the 3.3 miles.
When we called to ask about rates and why we were charged this amount they were rude and couldnt give us a straight answer as to how their pricing was determined. When asked to speak to a manager we were laughed at and hung up on.
Totally unreasonable, unprofessional and SHADY.
I want to thank AC Towing for their work yesterday morning. My wife had a flat tire and we called AAA. Who messed up royally and neglected to call AC. Once we complained AV Towing showed up in 15 minutes. The young man who worked on the vehicle did everything he could to help us. However it was not to be, due to a problem with the vehicle and that was not of his making. You are very lucky to have him! I believe his name was Kam. I would not hesitate to use this company again. Thanks!
Called theses guys at 7pm on a Friday night. They were able to tow my vehicle to their shop, pull the blow out tire off and replace it within a few hours. Super friendly, super reasonable prices, can't say enough about how great my experience was. 10/10 would recommend!
Travis from AC towing was awesome. He came a few minutes earlier then expected and seeing how my shifter couldn’t get the truck out of park, he managed to load and unload it impressively without doing any damage (which I was afraid of). You’re the man!! And excellent company if this is the service they frequently provide.
After blowing a tire on 295, they were dispatched by AAA. They were prompt and communicated with me to make sure they knew exactly where I was. They got my vehicle off the highway and to a safe location before switching out the tire for my spare. Had me on my way in no time at all. The tow truck driver was friendly and helpful and overall just laid back with a great disposition. Very pleased with my service. Thank you.
