Acme was great. I would 100% go back and highly recommend. They had quick customer service and did a really great job with a huge dent on the back of my car. I felt that pricing was very fair and the quoting process was easy. All in all great experience!
We opted to get some cosmetic repairs done on our daughter’s car. Acme went above and beyond what we expected. They also buffed the rear tail lights, added an interior cargo concealer and cleaned and clearcoated the whole car, including the roof and roof rack. It looks like a million dollars! The price was as quoted and it was all done on time.
The folks are great. The started work when and finished when promised and at a very competitive price! We have gone there before and found them very trustworthy and professional. I asked for a state inspection and had forgotten to put on the new “pine tree” license plates…which I had left on the floor of the car to do later. They put on for me without asking….and attached the new tags. Not really their job but the did it anyway!
The little things like that really do matter!!
Last year I had a control arm & rocker panels done for 3000$ a week later my ball joint ( same side as the control arm) broke. I incurred a 300$ tow because of this. They fixed it.
I still don't believe Brad would know a bad ball joint if he held it in his hand, which he did.
Also, he broke my abs sensor & tried to charge me to fix it.
This year I decided to give them another chance.
Got new rear bushings & a head gasket plus fluid film.
3 weeks later my check engine light & traction control light came on.
Brad tells me he's happy to check it out
He does a diagnostic, apparently since the check engine light isn't the result of his work he wants to charge me 150$ after the fact.
4500$ in business I've given & they want to nickel & dime me.
Finding a new mechanic.
We had a very positive experience. Our car was hit by another driver in Connecticut. The job the body shop did down there was terrible (multiple scratches were still visible , they had sprayed blue paint into the wheel well and the "replacement" bumper didn't match the color of the car well at all - very obviously cobbled together). Nick was amazing with my wife and daughter, who took of the the car and dealings with ACME as I was at work. The car came back perfect. According to my wife and daughter he was easy to deal with, friendly, fair and honest. I'd definitely take my car back here in the future. 5 stars, no question.
Had body work, inspections, and mechanical work here and have been very happy with the communication, appointment availability and promptness, and willingness to stick to the quote.

As an engineer my first time experience here was impressive. They outlined and prioritized repair work needed. I was also impressed with the detail in their completed work. I’m not done with list yet but I feel secure knowing they can execute well the next steps.
My family have been going here for years. Three generations to be exact. Never had an issue until Nick and his crew took over. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Think twice before going here.
I had to go to this shop twice in one week to have 2 different bumpers replaced(long story). Both times the team at Acme was super professional, pro-active and very pleasant to work with. Everyone I encountered including the person at the front desk, the owner(who is a woman), and Nick were very accommodating. Estimate/pricing process was transparent and the bumpers look great. I definitely recommend Acme if you have car body work needs.

Absolutely terrible service and quality of work. Awful communication throughout entire repair process. They love to play games and will hustle you out of quality service and good repairs. Please take your business to moody’s or literally any other shop in the area, save yourself the trouble and time.
Very rude managers Nick and Brad, after completing repairs on my truck they needed to have an alignment done as the front wheel was damaged and replaced. The tire was warn badly due to driving the truck after the accident and needed replacement. They never called to ask me to pay for the tire so the alignment could be done. I sat with Nick whom agreed to get the truck over to the alignment shop once the tire has arrived. There were several dents along the same side of the truck that the insurance company denied fixing claiming there was no way they could have been caused by the accident. I received a call from Gieco stating the truck was ready and my rental car would be shut off the next day, returning to Acme to find even after two more days the tire was not replaced and the alignment had not been done. Nick smirked at me and said I a going to let you handle the rest of the repairs. No follow thru, no return phone calls, very unprofessional do not take your vehicle here.

I had a huge dent in the back of my car. They did an amazing job. My car looks brand new. I recommend this place highly and they got it done in good time
I was steered to Acme through my insurance company. I am very glad they did because the service, communication and follow up were all outstanding. They did a fast professional job - looks great / and they handled all of the insurance paperwork. I am very pleased with Acme. I hope I never need body work again but, if I do, I know where I will go.

I had a small chip of paint on my car door and the chip had gotten larger. I called Acme and they got me right in. When I picked up my car, it looked like a brand new car door. Their work is exceptional! Highly recommend Acme. And the staff is great!
They were amazing throughout! From the initial estimate, to setting up my rental car, to the completion of repairs. All facets were explained to me and they helped guide me through the process. ACME was professional, informative, and accommodating. I felt like I was dealing with a friend not a business. Highly recommend them!!
I brought in my car to repair just the fender of some left-front damage from a recent collision. The price was fair, the repair was done timely, and the total price equalled the estimate. The repair looks awesome, including a great paint match of a 2016 car! I'll add that a few years back I brought in another car with a dented hood for repair and had a similar 5-star experience.
Had nearly $5,000 damage to my front end. Everything went flawlessly from the appraisal to the scheduled drop off date, to the pickup date which was the day they quoted. Excellent job! They also buffed out some scratches I had that I thought they might have put in my clear coat on my hood during the time they had my car, but pictures showed that the scratches were there when I brought it to them, but they had me drop it off for 2 hours while they buffed it out for free. Who does that these days? I since then scheduled a undercoating because of that gesture, and will continue to go there for services they provide that I may need in the future. Extremely nice staff.
Went in without an appointment to repair a side view mirror. They turned around a fast quote, looked to save me money on the part and fit me into their schedule within days. Great service, communication and with other body shops in the area booking out months, were prompt to work me in. Highly recommended!
Acme was already highly recommended by fellow community members, so we went to them for an estimate of damage to our car. The process was quick, fair, and professional. After receiving the estimate the same day, an appointment was made for a few days later. The work was done in one day and came in under estimate. We join the others who highly recommend Acme Body Shop. The car looked beautiful.
Drop off and pickup was painless and quick. Loved that enterprise was there to escort me to get a rental. They did a flawless job with repairs to my Honda! Staff were courteous and professional. My only suggestion is if repairs will take longer than originally expected just to give the customer a quick call especially going into the weekend as the shop is not open on weekends. Also it's nice to see that staff get weekends off not many business so that anymore. I would recommend Acme and hopefully I don't but if needed would return for future business! Thank you!!
I had a perfect experience with ACME Body Shop especially during a stressful situation. I unfortunately had a collision with an animal on the interstate. I had never had to deal with this type of situation and they couldn’t have made it more easier for me. I am super grateful for the quick estimates, the amount of time they got me in (other garages told me I couldn’t get in for months) and the quick turn around for the work to be completed (two days!!!!!). My car looks better than it looked before the accident. We had lots of communication leading up, during and after my car was repaired which eased my mind. I have had great experience in the past, but went in to have my drivers side rearview mirror replaced. I came back to this slit in my interior. I noticed it immediately and inquired (I was so nice and tried very hard to keep calm, seek a solution that would work for everyone, etc...). They got very defensive and rude and took no ownership at all, brushing off the new slit in my interior (right by the door handle they would have used) . I am 100% positive it was not there before, as I VERY recently bought the car and had it detailed and have pictures. They asked "your car is all scratched up, are you going to blame us for all of that too?" I said no, since I knew those scratches were there, realized I wasn't getting anywhere and left. I called the next day to follow up nicely, asking if we could come to a solution that we all agreed upon. They never called back or returned any of my phone calls. It was horrible. I suppose I need to find a new repair shop now.
So beware... they're great if they do work well, but if they mess up, they do NOT have your back and you will not have any guarantees or honesty in going through possible solutions.
My car was side swiped in a head on collision, the entire drivers side scrapped and damaged. They had my car for 8 days and it's beautiful. They cleaned out my car and made it so pretty! I was quoted $2500 and it was more than $1000, and they dealt right with the insurance and made sure I had nothing to worry about. Here's a few before and one after!
