These guys were very quick to show up for me on the side of i95. I am not from here and could not give great details on my exact location but they still came right away. In Florida I would have been waiting for possibly a couple of hours. I definitely appreciate their service.
If I could give Yaz towing 0 stars I would. Please avoid their services at all costs. I can’t believe this business still exists given the abundant number times they have been charged with legal misconduct. I’m still in shock by how unprofessional their services were. Stay away!
This is the last person you want to call for help if you are in a stressful situation. They force you to pre pay them before providing service which is ridiculous. South Portland Towing came promptly and only charged me $60 for the service Yaz was going to charge me $200 for so I would suggest calling them instead!
Was towed from the Maine Mall to Riverside St. about 7 miles. They demanded $300 cash or they wouldn't release my vehicle. Absolutely awful experience. I was working at the mall on an overnight shift repairing a mall store. I came out and my trailer was gone. Panic ensued and we got in touch with security. Security hasn't realized it was out trailer and had it towed. $300 later I had my trailer back from yazz towing. Anything else this guy is saying in his response is just not true. They work for the mall, they towed my trailer seven miles, it cost me $300. He generously agreed to waive the storage fee since it only been there 45 minutes. So only $300.
Great service, timing and got the job done very well. Helped me out the mud near the side of road after losing traction in the early morning, and he got here promptly to get me out.
Just witnessed one of their drivers blow a red light at the intersection of Rt 202 and River Rd in Windham by Smoked. Makes me question their safety and reliability.
Addendum: White Integrated tow truck with Red lettering blew red light heading Northbound on River Rd at approximately 5:15pm. Is this not one of your trucks? If not then please identify the guilty party as we can all agree running a red light should not be condoned.
I arrived to my car after a late flight only to find a flat tire with a screw in it. After my insurance road side assistance told me they couldn't find anyone, I called Yaz Towing. Shawn was very nice, and despite it being after midnight, he came out quickly and repaired the tire. He was efficient and kind. Thank you, Shawn!!
Yaz Towing was excellent to work with after I had the displeasure of getting t-boned by a teenage driver! The owner brought my totaled car to the Yaz Towing lot without any issues. He was very gracious in allowing me to make a trip to the lot to retrieve belongings from my vehicle, then a second trip to grab a few last items I had forgotten. A very pleasant experience all around.
locked my keys in my car for the first time since I was a teenager. Never thought I’d be in this predicament again especially while I was at work a whole hour drive away from my home and 3 hours until my shift was off. I called Yaz towing company and he picked up the phone after one ring and I explained my problem and they were right on it. Quoted me a price and said they’d be there in 2 hours but andrew the worker arrived early and was done in less than 3 minutes with my car unlocked. Very prompt response, clear communication and prices upfront, timely work. Thank you guys! Hopefully will never have to do this again but first one id call is Yaz!
Called for a tow when stuck and he gave me pricing and was up front/friendly, said to shop around if I would like or call him back if need be. called around with no avail and he called back to check on my status, showed up prompt, gave me a very fair deal and safely pulled my van from the ditch. 10/10 service 10/10 person. Highly recommend
On Labor Day weekend after calling 5 tow truck companies, with no assistance, we called YAZ. Broken down on I-295, not sure between which exits and have 1 1/2 hour drive still ahead of us. YAZ said ping me, I’ll come get you. Quoted fees and estimated time of arrival. He also notified us when he was 15 minutes out and arrived exactly as promised. Efficient, professional.
He said he was on his way home when we called after starting his day at 5:00 am. He said he didn’t want to leave us on the side of the road realizing it was a holiday weekend and ensured we were safe and helped us secure transportation to get home. Professional and reliable. What could have been a bad situation became a relief that we found a reliable, understanding tow service. We would most differently use again and highly recommend!
Came earlier than the given time and worked quickly and efficiently. My car was quickly towed to a nearby auto repair service for repair in the morning and I was given a ride home. Very professional with communicating to customers and handling their needs, making sure they’re satisfied, while also maintaining a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend.
Absolutely incredible company. They know what they’re doing and have the tools and the knowledge to get it done safely and securely. I highly recommend this company to anyone that may fall victim to locking their keys in their car, getting a flat tire, needing a jumpstart, ran out of gas while driving, need towing assistance because they broke down, or get involved in an accident and have enough other things to worry about give this company a call, you won’t ever regret it.
I was in an accident that caused damaged to the passenger side tires. I am new to the area so wasn't entirely sure of who to call. I reached out to this towing company and they had my vehicle towed in no time to the Townfair Tire in South Portland. The service was efficient and my vehicle was dropped off in record time. I greatly appreciate this company and their services.
My out-of-state daughter parked her car illegally. It was towed by Yaz towing service. My daughter contacted Yaz. The owner (pictured on the website), quoted my daughter $350 (cash only) to get her car back the same evening. The owner, yelled unprofessionally at my daughter I called the police who confirmed that the city has an ordinance that the service cannot exceed $125. The South Portland Police were kind, patient, and helped! Thank you So Po Police. If you use Yaz, expect to be gouged. If the price does not seem right, it probably is not!

Had a machine stuck in a real tricky spot wedged between two immovable objects. Called YAZ as I’m not local but had seen his trucks around. He showed up at the time he said, got creative with his winches/pulleys etc and got it mostly unstuck. We needed some time to move some things out of his way so he could get at the other side, he came back the next day at the exact time he said he would and got it out without any damage to machine or property. Nice guy, and charged a fair rate too, especially considering he kinda had us over a barrel-we couldn’t exactly leave it where it was, a lot of people would’ve taken advantage. Based on my experience I would highly recommend YAZ.
Yaz was able to respond to my location within 30 minutes, was very kind and knowledgeable about my battery issues, and very accommodating with towing. Very satisfied with the service!! Will definitely use them again!!
Was going to use this business to have my car towed, but after reading the reviews here, you can see how they unprofessionally and poorly responded to the bad reviews. You can clearly see that they do not handle things professionally or with mature mannerism. No thank you, I will take my business to a place that has decent customer service, even when they get a bad review.
Negative reviews of people telling their experiences are met with defensiveness and an extreme level of unprofessionalism. Think twice about who you hire to do your work, and always be skeptical of 5 star review laden businesses without words to go with them. Willing to bet they extort these reviews from people they swindle money from.
The owner lied to get his $200.00 towing fee. He said there was no tag in the window when there clearly is. He should have said there is an OBSCURED TAG, I can't verify it. He would have still been on his rights to tow and collect the fee.

I had gotten a bad puncture in my tire at 11pm on July 3rd. Peter Yaz (the owner) was the only company willing to assist me in my time of need. Peter was very professional and knowledgeable about the best point to rig off of. My car didn’t not have a single dent or scratch on it. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Would highly recommend Peter if you ever need assistance.
Needed to move our sauna from one house to another twenty miles away. Neither locations were that easy to get into, but Peter was game to figure it out. I appreciated his optimism and good attitude when things got tricky. I would absolutely recommend Yaz towing.
Nice guy, very hard working got this 700 pound hot tub to my house 37 miles away without any issues, prompt and professional, and he’s careful, didn’t just yank it on he knows what he’s doing.

We were refused service when I called AAA. I’ve been a customer of AAA for years, and when the driver came he looked at the situation and without even calling me up to let me know he was there he just left. We called Yaz towing, and after negotiating a very reasonable price Peter who is the driver showed up with in 30 minutes. Assessed the situation and without hesitation deemed it was safe and my vehicle was pulled out of the small ditch it went in. We were very happy and satisfied with the service and if ever need a toll again in that area we will definitely be calling Yaz towing.
A big thank you to Yaz Towing. My job was not the easiest to execute. And despite the challenges thrown at them, they stuck with the job until my vehicle was where it was supposed to be: safely tucked in my garage. The price was reasonable and I really appreciated the driver's "can do" attitude.

Do not use. Highest possible recommendation to go with someone else. Pretty sure the rest of the positive reviews are fake. Go ahead and have a read - sounds like they were all written by the same person.
Used these guys through my car company's free roadside assistance. Now I can see why they weren't associated with AAA - who ended up being the ones to tow me.
Here is what happened:
4:445pm: Broke down 20mi north of Portland (on I 295 south)
4:50pm - called Ford and told them that my car broke down. Ford advised that we would be contacted shortly be the tow company.
5:00pm - Yaz towing sends a text saying that pick up is scheduled for 7:30pm (2.5 hours later). Decided to wait it out, in 36 degrees while raining.
7:10pm - Yaz towing calls to inform me that wait will be an additional 40 minutes wait. Since waiting, AAA tow truck stopped by to check on us (unrelated towing request for another driver.) It started to feel like a hostage crisis. How could a towing company less than 30 miles away take 3 hours to get to me?
During conversation with Yaz, I asked for reason for delay. Was told it was traffic. I asked where the traffic was. I live in Portland and know that traffic is limited, particularly at 7:30pm. Response from towing company was, "I don't control mother nature." Hmmm. Just tell me what traffic you are encountering. Tough to believe that a towing company located less than 30 miles away from where I was takes 3 hours to get to me. "You can pay money or you can wait for me to tow you," was the company's response. The person on the phone, possibly the owner said that he was going to cancel the tow. When I asked why he said, "because you are bad mouthing me." I called Ford to lodge a complaint against Yaz for the poor service (delay and rude phone conversation.)
Ford informed me later that they were in contact with the company who would still come, "if there was no trouble when the driver got there." Hmmm By trouble could you mean accurately reflect your poor service...then yes, I guess that means trouble.
7:40pm - Called Ford to cancel tow from Yaz. Called AAA for a tow.
8:10pm - Yaz and AAA show up within thirty seconds of each other. Driver insists to AAA that he will tow me. i informed Yaz driver that the two was cancelled through Ford and that AAA will be towing me. Yaz driver continues to insist to me (and the AAA driver) that he wasn't notified of cancellation by his dispatch and that HE will be towing me, No, I don't think that you will be towing me, sir. More rude talk and disrespectful language.
Very rude, very disrespectful, in particular to women. Can't make a tow happen within 30 miles within 3 hours? Maybe Yaz needs to pick another profession.
Maybe you should pick another tow service.
