This company is an absolute joke. The workers are completely unhinged — rude, yelling, and acting like total maniacs the entire time. They have no clue what professionalism means. They showed up late, handled my car like trash, and then had the nerve to argue with me as if I was the problem. I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional, disrespectful, and downright insane people. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this company as possible. They shouldn’t even be in business.
Absolutely unprofessional from start to finish. The way this company handles situations shows a complete lack of care, accountability, and basic respect for their clients or surroundings. Their behavior speaks volumes about how little they value the people they serve and the quality of their work. It’s genuinely hard to believe a company with such disregard for its clients and community still exists. Their actions reflect a deep absence of pride and integrity, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who expects even the bare minimum of respect or competence.

Extremely professional and kind organization. They provided friendly and prompt service after my car died in the middle of the road and had me squared away in less than an hour! Would highly recommend them and use them in the future!
Very responsive. Get your receipt on the spot. Have asked 3 times and still nothing. Need it for my insurance, my only proof is when they charged my card.
UPDATE: I was able to get my receipt for insurance purposes, so I'll add another star.
Although they were quick enough to respond for my jump start, the payment process seemed weird... guy just wanted me to read my card number, etc out loud as he typed the info into his phone. Seemed odd to not have the capture device.
Then I told them I would need an actual invoice (as opposed to the basic Square one I got) showing the company name and type of vehicle in order to to be reimbursed by my insurance company... Two days and about four calls later and I have as yet to receive one. I sure hope I don't have to pay $100 out of pocket because I can't get a full receipt.
Terrible tow company. They kept saying they will be here to tow me in in a hour. 5 hours later they said they can't come. What company treats people like this.
Called for a tow and guy said he'd see what he could do, he'd call me right back. Well 45 minutes later I call them back and get told no ones available! That's LOUSY service.
We have used Leonard regularly for a couple years to haul loads of equipment all over Maine and New Hampshire. They go above and beyond every time. We won't call anyone else!
These guys are fabulous. They were able to tow our motorhome from a campground at Bar Harbor to their shop. Once at the shop they repaired our brake line and had us back on the road in 2 hours. We can't thank them enough for helping us out. Highly recommend for towing and repair or maintenance on your vehicle.
Amazing!!! I got stuck for hours in the snow storm and could not move my car and nobody would help me, I called Leonard Heavy Rescue and they got me out so fast and went above and beyond to get me out and even plowed the whole parking lot and part of the road so I did not get stuck again, as well as coming quickly to my aid even though he was super busy. I appreciate you so much!! Meant so much more than you know! Would recommend them to anyone in need and would definitely try them before any others. Other company's are looking for the money, this company cares about the person they are helping. Thanks again for all your help!!!!!!
Don’t use this business.Worst experience ever. My car was stuck so they pulled it out. After that I tried to make a payment with my card but it didn’t work because I accidentally used the wrong one. I went back to the house to get my other card and they just left with my car key and house key. I almost got locked out of my apartment with my baby inside. They just left with keys without saying anything. When I called them to complain they hang up the phone on me. I had to take the police with me to make payment and get my keys back.
My International broke down in Waterville Maine, and Leonard's sent Smitty out to tow the truck to the shop. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and a pleasure to interact with. I hope I don't find myself in need of a tow again while I'm in Maine, however if I find myself in this situation again Leonard's will definitely be my first call.
Leonard had me send him pics so he could assess the predicament.... we had a LARGE 5th Wheel camper behind us on a hill off a private dirt road... and the F250 Lariat just slipped enough to get stuck. He communicated via text with updates...
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY MEDIUM TO HEAVY TOWING...
I called these guys and they arrived onsite exactly when he said he would be, they are a honest and great group of guys to work with. I couldn’t recommend them enough. If you every need anything they are the guys to call.
Had a tractor trailer that slid off in a ditch. Leonard’s came very quickly, took their time setting up, and had the truck out in no time. Very professional and fair price. Highly recommend.
