Biggest shoutout of all to Jaci, who absolutely went above and beyond in every way possible to show how much myself and my situation mattered. Not only did she express EMR's genuine appreciation for my business, but she also took the time to personally thank me and make me feel truly valued as a customer. Her cool-as-hell personality professionalism really made what could have been just another transaction into something special - I honestly felt like I had just made a new friend instead of just completing a business transaction, ya feel me?
Jaci's care and attention to what i had going on specifically (as a first time customer not knowing the process)extended to both my fiancé and me. She making sure we were taken care the real way during the whole process. And listen Review reader, im not even the type of person to often leave reviews unless an experience genuinely moves me on a personal level, which is is usually like never. So yeah just know im being frfr when I say Jaci service, professionalism, and honest concern for us as real people, not just customer interactions, really stood out and made a huge.
Also, EMR pays out the highest payouts in the area for scrap materials, hands down! I got the most for my recycled materials.
So yall heard it here first,The combination of top pricing and TIPPY TOP customer service from employees like Jaci makes EMR Southern Recycling THE go-to spot. I won't be going anywhere else for my recycling needs. When you find a business that treats you like a close friend while offering the best prices around, you stick with them!

The Port Allen location is so amazing I had the best experience and I haven't been scrapping that long so for noobies look they will get you right so come holler at them hurry

EMR provides great rates compared to other scrap yards and have some of the most helpful people. Working with Jaci has been a treat. She has went above and beyond to help make sure we are taken care of.
EMR on the Westside is where it’s at! I went today for the first time, their costumer service is what sets them apart from others. My interaction with Jaci and Jason was exceptional, they are the total opposite of the grumpy/rude sales associates at the other local yards. Fill that trailer up and let EMR fill your pockets up!
April was very professional and kind to me. I This is for today and yesterday . April and Any took good care of me despite the fact I arrived on the nose at 5 pm. They both are two very professional women with excellent business demeanors.
I’ve been selling my metal at EMR Port Allen for over 10 years and it’s hands down the best place around. Jaci will answer the scale phone when you get there and treat you better than you even deserve. Can I only give 5 stars?

This place is great. They provide top pay for for metal, April was very knowledgeable and gave great service over the phone onsite.
Only thing I would suggest is, for first time customers, they need a sign saying to answer phone and a little more direction on where to go.

I've been going here for years; they are simply the best recycling yard around with fast and friendly service every time. The cashier Jaci had me in and out in no time at all. Highly recommended A+++
Jaci and April took very good care of us. It was the first time we had ever scraped. And the guys that helped us unload where very nice. For a scrap yard it was nice and didn't have scrap all over the place.
We do a lot of commercial truck repair and we bring a few thousand pounds to them every couple months. The two ladies up in the office have always greeted me with the best customer service you can get from any scrap yard. I’m usually in and out faster than anyplace else and from my experience, they give the best payout per ton. I highly recommend this place because I promise you won’t be disappointed. And if the manager reads this, You definitely need to give those ladies a raise!!
Fair rates and quality customer service, these guys have done a great job of turning things around since about 5 years ago. That's why they now are my main go-to when I have stuff to scrap. April at the scale and Jaci at cashier are friendly and knowledgeable. On some occasions things move a little slowly due to computer problems, and that's an area for improvement, but overall I'm happy to use these guys.
I have been using EMR for little over four years. They are like a second family always polite and willing to help you. From the girls April (scale) and Jaci (cashier) to all the guys helping unload. Highly recommend giving them a try.
