Dropping old motor and picking up new one the forklift operator snapped our wire for lights on trailer. After my husband told him to hold on he’s got to move the lights. He dropped the pallet straight on to the wire!!! It takes common sense to follow directions!!!! They acted like it was no big deal!! If you’ve been around Baton Rouge area you know the traffic is horrendous! You need lights on your vehicle and trailers your towing!!!

On April 21,2025 at 2:20pm I called and pressed 2 to be connected to the parts, customer service picked up the phone and placed me on hold for a period of 5 mins and never got back to me. I kept calling back but no one would pick up. Now I know that place is open but customer service wouldn’t pick up. If she didn’t want to work then, it’s simple just to resign from working there.
Don't buy from LKQ!! I spent 3000 on a transmission to get it broken and they won't warranty it. The day we put it in metal was in the fluid. We won't even talk about the condition this grade a part was on delivery. But i haven't even had it a week when we made the claim. In ten seconds the guy just denied the claim. I would go anywhere else but LKQ.
HORRIBLE! Place has gotten WORSE over the years!! You can’t ever get anyone on the phone so you HAVE to drive there. I placed an order on Tuesday or Wednesday go there on Friday to pick up just to find out one of my items got damaged in transit and NOBODY called me to inform me. They ask for your phone number 1000 times just to NOT use it. Now I’m pushed back to waiting more days for my order. I would recommend you find somewhere else to take your time & money because this place isn’t it.
The lady at the front desk was simply rude. Only because I need the part, but it is not pleasant to do business when you are treated with such a rude tone and lack of interest in helping the customer.
A gentleman not sure you his name but he is a Caucasian male. Very rude. I simply called to inquire about parts ordered and he continuously hung up in my face, attempted a accent when I asked for management told me hold on and and hung up in my face yet again. This place of business shouldn't have certain people deal with customers because at the end of a day you work for a business that is ran off of customer service and if you hate people that much maybe you shouldn't work with the public. I can't believe it's acceptable to treat customers in such a manner.
Purchased a remanufactured transmission and was told at time of purchase at the counter that when I brought back my old transmission in their nice black plastic box I would get back $395. I asked a second time before I left to be
sure it was correct and true. Had the new transmission installed and promptly returned to get my $395 core refund when same person at counter told me I would get nothing. LKQ made their sale by convincing me of the $395 but didn’t come through with their promise. BAD business practice. Don’t believe what they tell you get it in writing. I am not happy with their excuses. Be warned!!
