Absolutely horrible facility, it’s apparently the worst recovery center in Louisiana I stayed for 16 days it’s disgusting, it’s a insurance rip off, they treat and move you like cattle to get there money
Very horrible place very dirty staff sucks the showers were filthy they had urine in the sink and poo a Few times also bed bugs and they had drugs in the building the front of the place looks decent every thing else was ran down food is bad to would never recomened anyone ever go here ever they do not care about u they jus in it for the money if i could give it less then 1 star i would
I was leary at first due to no real individual counciling but really appreciated the "on the ground" people with issues which I learned so much from. The AA MEETINGS which were daily and BIG BOOKS daily were unbelievabley impressive. Food was good for most part, especially breakfast. Staff were very amiable mostly.
I would give this “facility” a zero if I could. Everything here was awful. Food was disgusting, and since no one really wanted it they would load your tray up with that nasty stuff. Techs were a nightmare, and I won’t go into specifics with naming names but most of the “techs” on this staff were a joke. Unprofessional, rude, loud and obnoxious, drama seeking, foul mouthed idiots. Seeing a doctor is nearly impossible, and to top it all off I was here when I was pregnant and received absolutely ZERO prenatal care. Which later led to a lengthy list of problems with my delivery and my baby, that I could probably sue for but I won’t even bother. The only good thing I have to say about this place is Big D and Ms. Joy, both of y’all are wonderful! They made this place a little bit brighter and really care about the clients. Other than them, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Even my worst enemy.
Why am i not able to leave 0? If you want your family member to get help, run far far away from these thieves .They are neglectful, abusive, and only in it for the money. They steal your clothes & then bill the state to pay the patient back. They employees love Louie & Nike. They do not care about your health, my father was denied treatment & food. The day he was released they were supposed to offer a ride (bc that’s what the governments money for this places is used for) they denied him. They just want the gov money and the free stuff they get off people backs who come in. If you go, riots every nights due to argumentative Staff and NEGLECTED patients, you will not see a doctor or specialist for days at min, and no therapy. This isn’t a rehab it’s jail2.0
There was one lady who was delightful to encounter, however this business needs to be looked into by the BBB and i will have to see that one through. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Don’t wanna help people? Don’t get into the industry. People come to you for help, we’re in the middle of a crisis & just imagine how this place could really change someone’s life if it wasn’t a place just to scam the government money. Imagine.
The living conditions are very bad. The food is also very bad. The counseling is non existent and very poor. This is my second time there in two years. I don't see how Medicaid is paying these place 30 thousand a month per client. They are not giving clients the treatment they claim to provide. Maybe Medicaid should investigate!!!!I never seen a rehab where they have a sheriff deputy present during med dispensing.very unorganized. Overcrowded living quarters too. It's all about the money they can get from Medicaid.

One of the worst place ever, how is that the best place ever when the living condition is unhealthy I was sick for 2 weeks, not to mention they left my medical condition out of the system so they couldn't help me when I had a medical problem and I'm a mental patient, then somebody is stealing other people stuff and not rolling the camera back to catch the suspect stealing his stuff and have him arrested so I signed an ama form and signed myself out that trashy facility and boy does it stinks up in there and the food is disgusting and plus the staffs there is disrespectful and has a smart mouth
Walking in, looks great. Everyone up front was polite and professional. Once you cross over to the living area, it's way different. Just a trashy place and un acceptable living conditions.

This place saved my life It’s been over a year since I’ve been there I’ve stayed sober also was able to get a liver transplant list received my liver in April and I’m doing good I remember the workers there so well very helpful
I loved my time at laark. I've changed alot since i was there 2 months ago. Thanks to all the techs nurses and counselors there. Yall are awesome thanks for everything.
This place is a joke!! If you truly want help staying sober this is not the place for you. Too many things over looked by the staff. You've got men sneaking out at night to go over and sleep with the woman, patients doing/selling/ trading meth, opiates, cocaine etc. Mainly meth though. Several patients sneak cell phones in, not to mention the ones that sneak away from the facility to do drug deals. The location is terrible and I'm not sure if it's just lack of care of just complete ignorance on the staff's part but either way not a good place for a recovering addict.
Well i have changed drastically from my experience at LaArk Recovery i am doing great now i enjoy the sober live and i am enjoying my stay in sober living
