the lady that was in there this morning was rude and i was overcharged for some stuff. snack cakes was supposed to be 2 for 3 i got charged $2 per box…and the condiments was buy one get 1 free. i was charged for both. and the girl had a attitude. i miss the other smaller older lady she’s sweet! but lately it’s been this girl that checked me out this morning. and i will more than likely not come back it was dirty everything looked like it was thrown on shelves. disgusting
This was my go to store for items. I usually look at the date on the items because a lot of them are out of date. I bought 2 boxes of pancakes mix since my grands love for me to cook them when they come over. This time for some reason I didn't check the date and when I open the box there were bugs crawling through the box. Opened the other box and same thing. I bought this on 7/28/2024. The expired date is 11/1/2023. Called the store twice today 8/3/2024 with no answer and they are open. They more than likely are looking at the caller ID. I spent $200.00 on this date now I want to open everything and just thrown it out. Grands can't get pancakes today.

The place was dirty as the shelves were rusty. A lot of the food was months expired. Don't get me started on the frozen section. I understand this is a need, but some work and dedication to making sure food isn't outdated.
The people inside are friendly and the deals are good.
The parking lot...needs work. The multiple side conditioning units or refrigerator units on a number of places either have mold or merely look like they do, which is worrying for a place that sells food. The dumpster area needs cleaning, desperately. Lots of broken eggs on the ground that surprised me because it didn't stink from the heat, yet.
The inside isn't the prettiest of stores, and you do need to watch the dates on the food items, most don't matter because salt doesn't really go bad but some items that contain perishable items might be pushing it a little to go too far beyond the date.
The real gem is the mix and match ice cream items. Lots of unusual flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. Excellent prices on the ice cream. And again, sugar does really well at long term storage, so the dates aren't that bad.
This small independent grocery store sells salvaged shelved items like name brand cereals various frozen items and some select dairy items at bargain prices.
I got some amazing deals on high end yogurts that cost 4 times as much in the regular store.
The staff member was friendly working hard to stock the shelves, run the register and, wearing a mask and was practicing social distancing too.
Be aware that it is a bit grimey inside by the usual grocery store standards but this didn't bother me as the items I purchased were in sealed containers. Seems like the old country corner supermarket from my youth... I kind of felt like I was going back in time. A great experience and I'm glad I stopped in! Will be back in the future.
Great place if you're on a Budget, My daughter likes their cookies I ended up finding a few things to cook for dinner myself, The cashier was Very kind and friendly my daughter probably talked her ear off and she gave my daughter a Candy cane lol Great start towards a Happy New Year's.
Very friendly staff, prices are great. If you feel like you're too good to shop here, you most likely are so please enjoy your grocery shopping at your preferred supermarket. Keep up the great work y'all. Your community appreciates it more than you'll ever know.
I love this store. They always have most everything I need at a reasonable price & at the rising prices in the world today this store gives me the best deal for my money. Couldn't ask for better. Most things are at better prices than the grocery store. The managers, owner and workers are kind, helpful, and the best. Everyone needs to check them out for great deals on what they need.
Love this little corner grocery store. Never know what will be there so get it while it's available. We watch the expiration dates but even when they have been past the date, they have still been tasty and in good condition. Very friendly staff. Great place to shop.
I, myself, did not enter the Grocery Salvage Store, located in Pumpkin Center Highway, my friend did. And her comments about the salvage store are always good. She enjoys shopping there and always finds the best deals and quality items!!
Decent prices and cashier. She didn't say anything to us except a dry thank you when we finished the credit card payment. The store was clean for a salvage store and there was a ton to choose from. Will visit again if in that area.
Budget conscious individuals like myself, with growing children (and all their friends), love businesses like this one. They may not have everything on your shopping list HOWEVER you can walk out with two carts of food for the same price as half a cart at those big box stores. Selection changes constantly also. Oh and to boot, employees are supper nice.
I go here before I go any other store. It cuts my grocery bill in half if not more. The owner is so sweet and the employees are like family. I would give 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if I could. If you haven't shopped here you are really missing out
Very friendly and helpful staff, great bargains and fun to shop for gourmet foods. Great prices on frozen pizza, condiments, soups, crackers, snacks. Regular visits turn up amazing items!
I absolutely love it here. Sure it might be a little dusty, and maybe some things are expired, but there is ALWAYS a basket full of good finds. Will return every pay day
Very great place to get some budget finds. Plenty of products are completely unharmed an within best by dates. Friendly staff. I go at leat once per week
