Prices are reasonable. The young lady that works in the front (Shawn) is without question the friendliest person you'll ever meet at a salvage yard. Selection is pretty good for older stuff. Idk about later models. Will definitely be returning for stuff for my build.
Enjoyed my visit here and found the part I needed for my 05 Dodge Dakota. I needed weather strip for the driver door because it has been leaking. I went inside and the lady was the only person working. She was working her butt off. I think her name was Stacy. It started with an s, but she was really good! She was handling the phone, myself inside the store, and three other customers. She was a beast! That lady deserves a raise. Anyways, after I waited about 5 minutes to speak with her and see what I needed to do to go see if they had the part, she told me it was going to be a $2 fee to enter but she was going to waive the fee because I had to wait. I told her that was awesome, and thank her very much. They do offer a military fire and police discount for the entry fee from what I saw. She did ask me, and even though I did used to be a police officer I'm not currently so I did not ask for any kind of discount but she gave me a little bit of a discount getting in because I had to wait which I thought was awesome service. Anyways, she told me right where the Dodge Dakota was in there and I went right in there and found the weather strip. Everything was pretty organized in certain rows and they will tell you what row the vehicle you were looking for is on, if they have it. I went back inside and was expecting to pay at least $20. My part was less than $10! I told her I was going to write this review so here I am. Today is Friday the 19th of September. Whenever I need a car part in south Louisiana, this is where I will go from now on. It's right off of us 51 in Amite. It's on the right side of the highway if you're heading south! Excellent customer service and awesome facility. Easy to park and find. 10 out of 10 service
Horrible, save your money, a bunch of women answer the phone don’t know nothing about cars, don’t wanna help, just lazy. Don’t even waste your time. Go somewhere else.
Check their price list before you go because many of their parts are the same or more than you will get from a parts shop despite being well used. They will also misidentify parts and try to charge you for a higher priced part than you are trying to buy. They tried to charge me for a coil pack instead of a single coil, I said forget it and got a brand new one with warranty for only $10 more. Some parts may be cheaper here but definitely do your homework first.
Very nice junk yard, on the smaller side but that may just be what makes it great. Friendly customer service and they have a decent inventory. The yard is pretty organized and decently kept.
Great place with a wide variety of selections to locate the part you need. Found a very hard to find part for my 2011 Toyota Camry, that would have cost me $500+ buying it new, and the dealer considered it discontinued, that I only had to pay less than $30 for here. I will come back if I ever need anything else for my car. Thank you, Parts You Pull. I highly recommend it!
Don't bother, all the parts you need are either broken, bent, or destroyed in some form. I've been here every two weeks for almost 6 months looking for parts for 14 different vehicles. Don't believe the fake reviews left by employees to boost ratings.
Saved money but recommend somewhere else the older man and women at the desk were very rude and we were accused of taking something out of the yard that we owned and they tried to charge us for it the man then wouldn’t even hold the door open when he saw us coming with a very heavy part never experienced kind of service in my life
What I don't like about Pull-A-Part is I asked a young man did they have a certain part and he told me how many cars they had like that that should have it in the cars but he couldn't guarantee so you still have to pay them to go back there to look to see if they have the part you're looking for if they don't have the part back date you just gave him $2 or $3 for nothing to me they should have everything on record what they have and what they don't have, they are to high with their prices, I paid $45 for a part that didn't fit my truck when I took it back they gave me a $45 credit , I then order it from eBay new and paid $45 for, why go to pull a part for a used part when you can get a new one.
I like Parts You Pull. Their website is awesome. You can look up the price on any part you need and then you can search the yard and it tells you where to look once you get there and pay 2 dollars to get in. You can also rent a wagon to put your stuff in while you get your parts off. Bring tools for sure and I am not sure about a restroom. I definitely recommend saving some money with Parts You Pull in Amite.
Very helpful and patient while we trying what we wanted. They understood pig Latin as fred Sanford says. Will recommend them to everyone. Great service and greater prices. Yall go check them out plz see this for yourself dont just take my word
They act like their parts are made of gold! They also put you through hell with their metal detecting wand. You get charged just to enter their "Golden Junk Yard" Not to mention their prices are outrageously high! I would rather spend the extra few dollars and go to O'Reilly's Auto parts!!!
Great place to get salvage auto parts. This cuts repair bills down drastically when budgeting with limited income. Make repairs with parts you pull from wrecked vehicles. A way to recycle and not waste what is no longer needed by others. Also great place for unwanted vehicles.
Up front had no idea what they had on yard. I found what I needed tho and can't stand how they wand you like you trying to steal nuts and bolt. I won't be back. Pull a part is way better.
If I could rate hc a star I would very unprofessional group of employees they have no idea whats on the yard and what's not the cAr they told me was there wasn't nothing left to it but a door and hatch even though they said it was the only one there I found 3 more but of course none had the parts I needed lAst 4 times I went waste of my time and my money
Pretty cool....it's a dollar to enter the gate and look around and then whatever you want to purchase, but it's worth it and they have very reasonable prices for the parts. Have Fun!!!
Worked for me. Not sure on the negative reviews. Just like every other fetch your own part: walk in, whacha got? Whatcha looking for? Might have that, got 2 bucks? Sign, be careful. Hunt around, fetch ya part, explore some more. Check out, check ya tools and leave. Simple.
You may have to get a little dirty and hunt for what u need. But the prices are great and the people very friendly and helpful.
I just don't agree with the no refunds. I pulled the wrong part for my car and took it back the very next morning only to be told I could get a credit only. That has to Be used within 3 months Or the credit goes void. That i was not going to be able to get my money back But they didn't have the part I needed and I needed that money to go get the part I did need for my car. So now im stuck with this 31.00 ticket i have no use for and I have to find more money to get my parts . Its such a shame too because I would have done a lot of business with them other than that .

This place is a complete rip-off you are told at the door after you pay your admittance fee of $1 that the price you were looking for will cost you for example 20 you go back there you pull it off you get to the cash register just to find out that you're pissing to spend 60 because anything that can be removed from the part cost extra whether it's nuts bolts lines plastic guards anything like that so be prepared to strip it completely down
Found what was close to what I wanted but it dis not fit and I went back in and they refused to refund me only with store credit. This place used to be great when it opened now they make you pay just to get into the yard. The lady who served me Kari was excellent.Will not recommend to anyone.I recommend Albany Auto Salvage.
