I had a motorcoach in a very precarious spot on I-10, and three other companies had already declined to tow it. I called Louie’s, and before I had even finished giving the address, they were already on the way. Their communication was excellent, and the GPS tracking of the wrecker, with a live camera feed I’d never seen before, was outstanding.
The service was quick, professional, and above and beyond. Louie even took my driver to get a rental car, which was an incredible help. The price was not only fair but actually less than what they originally quoted me. In today’s world, companies like this are rare.
I could not be more impressed, and Louie’s will be my first call in the area from now on. Thank you, Louie’s!
Well I work for a towing company out of mississippi and I was at this towing yard picking up a truck going back to copart new Orleans. We'll Mr Louie came out to where I was loading up the truck and he was so nice to me. He got his employees and his equipment and helped me load the truck onto my tow dollies. I got my car towed on 03/25/2025 by Louie’s Wrecker Service. They were very rude on the phone. Very unprofessional. I called to see why my vehicle wasn’t towed to the body shop. It took 24 hrs for them to finally tow my car there. They never called to let me know why it was tow. I had to keep calling them to figure out why. I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TOUSE THIS TOW COMPANY!!
Absolutely garbage company. Illegally towed my van off the side of the road and held my personal belongings hostage until the vehicle was released which is illegal under Louisiana state law had to contact multiple police enforcements to get my stuff back
I went to jail yesterday and I promise this tow company worked wit me I appreciate it no hassle no wait everything was cool & they also tow my car home for me my two days was the worst in my life and this tow company made it so easy
This company is foul, and are bottom feeders of the Bayou! They Lack any form of professionalism. If you are involved in an accident and the local police call Louie's to recover your vehicle in the Hahnville area, good luck. They take your property(vehicle,etc) and make it hell on you to get it back (HINCE, THEY WILL NOT RELEASE YOUR PROPERTY BACK TO YOU WITHOUT A BILL OF SELL, REGISTRATION WITH YOUR NAME ON IT, TITLE WITH YOUR NAME ON IT....and all this paperwork is at their discretion). Essentially, I was threatened that until they felt like releasing my property, they could keep my property as long as they wanted. The longer it stays in their "yard" the more money they make. Cash payment is preferred, (ATTN*** I.R.S***) and they charge you 6% extra for credit card use. $ 27 DOLLARS A DAY per item, to keep YOUR wrecked property in their yard. If you stand your ground, and YOU PISS THEM OFF, THEY apparently can CHARGE whatever they want! The unfriendly/unprofessional/disgruntled woman that answers the phone is probably the worst example of customer service i have experienced . In my opinion,This is a disgusting example of a under the radar corrupt business. Consumer beware! I have never been talked to, or treated in my 55 years of life, the way Louie's treated me...Please, heed this review!
I set up a tow with an expectation of completing the tow as described and accepted by Louie's Wrecker company and under their demands to be paid in advance, I accommodated them. They not only jerked me around but didn't do what they were asked and accepted to do. To be yelled at and treated with such disrespect by both the child like woman who accepted the order but also the Owners son who is as absolutely as rude and unprofessional as the person who took the order this is completely unacceptable. DO NOT USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL AND COMPLETELY ADDELESANT BUNCH as you can be assured they will treat you with the same disrespect.
I waited for a tow from B’s towing at 4:12 said he’d be there in 30 mins at 5:30 still waiting we called Louie’s and at 5:43 he showed up so we kindly canceled Bs towing. I called 7x prior and no answer! I will be calling Louie’s from now on for any tow!!! I’m from Colorado just moved here! Way to go Louie’s! Thank you so much. I just wanted to go home.
I was just stopped by a police in my husbands car on the way home from grabbing pizza for my babies, the registration was expired and our insurance lapsed yesterday. 1/4/22. All of which is our fault and responsibility. However, after the overwhelming visit with the police and already being upset that our one and only vehicle was getting towed away, I was met with MR Louie himself. He drove up, honked the horn, and then came at me with the most aggressive and rude attitude I’ve ever came across from someone who owns a business. I have never been spoken to so rudely, yelled at on the side of the road like I was a dog. I’m sick thinking about it. In a moment where your business profession had the chance to make a difference, and choose to love; you chose ugliness instead. I still can’t believe I was treated this way and manner. I will pray that whatever this man is hoarding in his heart that is making him so angry at strangers he’s never met, will be healed. I’ll see you guys tomorrow to retrieve my vehicle and I pray Mr Louie has woken up a happier man.
We blew a rear tire while on vacation . Louie’s towing was so kind and helpful, they called around to find a place open to get us back on the road again.
They towed us to town and even brought out an extra vehicle to get us all back to town since the wrecker could
Only hold one of us. They were truly a blessing for us.
We called on a mid Sunday afternoon and they came right out. They knew exactly how to get my husband's truck out of the ditch and off of the concrete culvert without making it worse. Thanks so much!!!
Wanted 500 dollars to come out and lift my trailer so I could change a flat. It was only a 16ft tandem axle trailer wuth 400lbs on it. I didn'thave a jack strong enough. Highway Robbery.
These guys were very prompt and courteous. They even too the time to tarp where windows were broken.
When it came time to get our personal things out the vehicle they moved it to a safer clean spot to do so. I know not of any wrecker storage area that offers this kind of service.
They also helped out with the costs that was like a running meter after towing and storage. The vehicle was a total loss which was painful enough. The Ladies were very pleasant and helpful in the office also.

Very rude. The front desk lady is rude answering calls. Found someone else to do it for us and they're very professional for the same price. Jake's is more professional although we didn't use them. We used Triple T Towing instead! We recommend them than this place.
A friend didn't have correct paperwork in her car and when cited your vehicle takes a temp VACA here. Management & staff were extremely helpful with information needed to release her car.
I wrecked my van this weekend during a very windy rain storm I was pushed off the hwy into the swamp. The wrecker service that was called was Louies wrecker service. Not only did they pull my van out in under 2 min they were very professional and caring. They are a family owned business that really made everything easy for me after such a terrible wreck. I have nothing but great things to say about this company I would recommend them to anybody needing wrecker service. Thanks.
This company didn't end up towing me, but their professionalism and dedication to putting their customers first was really amazing. They couldn't get out to me quickly do to several other jobs. When it became clear they wouldn't be able to help me themselves, they took it upon themselves to call another company and arranged to have my car towed almost immediately. I was really impressed and so grateful that they cared enough to go the extra mile.
This business is family owned and I can tell you that they are a sweet, caring and great hearted family. These are the type of people you want to give your business to. They went above and beyond out of the goodness of their hearts to help my friend’s mom when she is needing it the most.
