Unreliable, left me sitting in my car waiting for them for roughly six hours on a 90° day. I finally gave up and left the car over night. It’s inconsiderate and dangerous. Came back the next morning and got a proper tow.thank you Green Acres Townig for showing up ON TIME id like to leave ZERO STARS FOR R&S !!!!!
Called for a tow at 2:23 pm that has a travel distance of 8 minutes max and was quoted a 60 minute pick up time. I’m in Chalmette, call back after two hours to have them say the guy is on Lapalco and on his way. $200 for a eight minute tow that is going to be almost 4 and a half hours. All for supporting local but, when you’re this terrible at your job, maybe you shouldn’t be in operation.
This is the second time they have been dispatched to come out. Gave an ETA of an hour + and then when that hour was up they sent a new ETA for another 65 mins! I will make sure to never use them again.
What was considered a difficult and disastrous trip, R&S towing sent the right technician. EDDIE. He was quick responding, professional, proactive, detail oriented, helpful an a most importantly a God Sent! Always a pleasure to do business with! Timely with their services. My mother was on side the interstate and had her vehicle towed and at the shop in 2 hours.
Brittany the Secretary is the most rude person I’ve ever dealt with. Constant attitude and saying “driver will arrive when he arrives” also hangs up in your face with an attitude.
Do not recommend this company due to the lack of customer service and accurate quotes.
Timing is terrible.
These guys are fantastic. Best service I've had in a while. After I towed my car there they called me to say they had already put on my new tires in what seemed like under 10 minutes. And the price is practically unbeatable. This is the only place I'll go for my car from now on.
The tow truck driver was amazing. He was able to give me some insight on what was wrong with my car, and he did a great job loading it onto the tow truck quickly . He was very friendly and helpful. On top of that, he arrived an hour earlier than the eta which was about 40 minutes after I called for a tow. I would highly suggest this towing service!
I placed a call for a tow at 12:45pm and was advised it would be 60 to 90 minutes. After 90 mins I called for an eta and was advised the driver was in route from Gretna. I called back an hour later and was advised there was one tow ahead of me but they should arrive I'm 45 mins. An hour and 45 mins later nothing. I called and was advised the driver attempted to contact me with no success. I have had my phone on me all day waiting on the call from the driver and I had NO missed calls. Now it is 5:20 and I have to wait for the evening driver to come on shift so it will be at least another 2 hours. This company has poor service and poor communication. I DO NOT recommend.
The driver was very courteous and was able to get our vehicle out of a potentially dangerous situation without causing more damage to the car. Many thanks for having the skill to do that and saving us the cost of more repairs.
The Dispatcher was very callous. I was told I could call and find out the ETA. When I did the dispatcher indicated it would be an additional 45mins. I asked why, he then disconnected the call. I was located in a very high risk location. I was cold and hoping the service would be more considerate of my crisis. The tow driver was respectful and professional. This process started at 5:45 and ended after 8:00 PM
The people are very nice the driver was very friendly!! We had some very serious payment issues I have still not got resolved I’m having to get lawyers and insurance and credit investigation involved. I’m hoping they can make it right. They seem like good people. It’s been over a week and over 1400 dollars. I will say they have been very nice but have yet to resolve my problem
Dave was very professional. He went above and to help with my issue. He was kind and courteous. Very patient. He made sure that we were taking care before leaving us.
Very professional, they called 30 minutes before arrival and showed up at time promised. Young man asked where we wanted the container put and dropped it off just where we wanted it. He made sure the container was cleaned and no holes in it before he left. He made sure we were happy with the service. A+
My driver Brent was very friendly and was a super safe driver. He explained everything that was wrong with the car and gave more information about what would happen after the tow was completed. We had nice conversation on the way to where my car was being towed. The time I ordered the tow from when they actually arrived was about 2 hours (it was supposed to be 75 min). However it made sense they would be late given the bad weather and traffic on the road at 4 pm. When I called the tow truck company they informed me of why the driver was running later than the anticipated time and gave a good estimate of when they would arrive. All in all, I had a good experience.
This guy was amazing! By far the best roadside assistance or tow I have ever had in my life! He was early arriving on a weekend at 1am. Customer service was great!This guy deserves a raise AND a bonus!
I was in a car accident during the Hurricane Delta, Tow truck services were very busy. This company was the only company available with a 3 hour wait. But, he came in 2 hours & the company made sure we were in a safe place to wait. They also notified me when they were on the way and was helpful in coming with a flat bed truck because of the damage to my front tire. Mr. George was professional and made sure to adhere to the cities law of parking my car by my home. I recommend this company for your needs.
I can’t comment on the value as to I have no idea the price since they were issues through my insurance, but Scott communicated great the whole way through. I had to tow my truck 97 miles, he called when he picked it up and dropped it off. Great service. I would absolutely use them again.

The on time thing wasn't a big deal because I requested a certain driver to tow our vehicle. Driver was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He got us to our destination safely and dropped vehicle where we asked. I would use this service again.
I forgot to get his name but he was not only professional but he stayed with me until my ride came, which he didn't have to do. His demeanor was pleasant and helpful. Him staying with me helped ease a bit of the anxiety I felt because my car broke down.
What a great experience. Instead of my vehicle being immobile. The tow driver gave me options. He looked at a couple things. Got it running safely.
So tow or pay for the fix.
I chose the fix and now I can bring it in when it's convenient to me. SUPER PROFESSIONAL

Great service provided by this company. The company even provided me with a flat-bed tow truck to tow my vehicle. The driver was very professional, courteous, and friendly. I’m glad that this company handle my vehicle in a respectful manner. The dispatch was reasonable along with updates.

I was told by my insurance co that they would cover 20 miles. The extra 5 miles would be $20.
The tow phoned me to verify form of payment. At that time I was told $25 was due, although I was already told $20. I paid the $25.
I was informed the that the driver was in route and would pick the vehicle up at 12:39 pm.
At 3:00 pm I was still waiting. When I called R&S, I was told they rerouted my driver and they’re locate another one in the area.
After hours of sitting in the auto shop I had to leave my vehicle to be received by strangers.
I would not recommend R&S or will I ever use them again!!!!

I paid on the phone after calling. After I paid they told me it would be 90 minutes so I asked if I could leave my keys and go home (where the car was being brought) they told me no. So I asked if I could ride back with the driver so my ride didn't have to wait. They said no, they aren't letting anybody ride right now. After 90 minutes i had to call and they said another hour. At this point i asked again if i could leave the car, they said no. I asked if i could have a refund so I could call another company that would be quicker. At this point, they said "oh, you already paid? Yeah I guess you can leave, but you'll have to meet the driver at the drop off" I said okay. They told me they would call when the driver was on the way. They never called. I called, and called, finally the driver had my car... AFTER 6.5 HOURS!!! I had to wait up until 3AM to meet the driver!! And not once did they call me, I called them every hour. Very disappointed.
SAVED MY WEEK. Nicest guy (Paul) came by to help me tow my dead car to the nearest autozone... then proceeded to change my battery for me! What great service. Super impressed with how friendly, quick, proficient he was at his job! Above and beyond! Thanks!
Recently towed my car and they were very responsive. Communicated everything with me from the time they accepted my tow to dropping off my vehicle to the body shop. They were excellent with communicating and working with me so that I didn’t have to wait for them and could leave the not so safe area my car was located. They even notified me with a picture ensuring me my vehicle had arrived safely. Thanks so much for your professionalism and customer service focus!
Dispatcher was very nice and helpful. They were busy on the Friday afternoon when I called, but they stayed in touch with me and showed up in time to get me to the dealership before closing. The driver helped me push the truck across the street, without issue, and got me loaded on the truck and to the dealership.
R&S Towing was super awesome. Their teamwork and communication among their team made an extremely frustrating situation relaxing. They came up with a solution to a problem and was able to handle the situation timely and professional. One of their drivers, George was really really helpful. From trying to get my vehicle working to the complete tow. I really appreciate your customer service and caring to actually get my vehicle working. Hopefully all the insurance companies have you all as a preferred vendor. Thank you again. I hope not see you all again but if I do, I will be happy that you all would be the service provider.
