Late. Promised a certain arrival time,and twice changed it. Was assigned before 8am. It is now 11 and driver was routed elsewhere im assuming. This is bad customer service
These people lie about the estimated times. The dispatcher was nonchalant about the fact that I had to wait a whole day. Missed out on two important appointments because of their dishonesty. Go somewhere else. !!!
this business was very kind and understanding to us today. It is August 31, 2025. We were stuck an hour and a half away from home and needed to get our truck to the dealership that was close to home and this young man named Curtis was so friendly and kind and let us ride in his truck. He was just a very nice gentleman. I would recommend car crushers towing to one of my family members. I think they are phenomenal
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. they are slow and and lie constantly about eta times. They will tell you 2 hours and then seldom deliver for less than 6 hours or even 2 days. Check with better business bureau. This company is not a member but has awful record of complaints. Took them 2 days to move my vehicle after promising 2 hours.
Had appointment to tow car at 1:30. At 1:30 didn’t show up so called. Was told a delay of 45 mins to an hour was expected. Again didn’t show so called at 3:00. Was told truck had a flat tire but would eventually make it to me. Called at 6:00 and left a message due to no one answering phone. Never received a call back and no one towed my car.
They playeddddddddd. Was supposed to pick up my car at 11 am, these clowns came at 2:25 with $300 when i was quoted $680+!!!!!! They were so flippant and it was impossible to get on the phone with them. horrible service.
Horrible experience, I did my claim at 1 am and waited all day for them to arrived. I even called them directly to ask if they were picking up my car for sure; if not to request a new provider to my insurance. They promised they will and here I am 28 hrs later and never showed up! Now I have a new provider assigned.
Do not use unless you want to sit around for hours until your roadside assistance has to coordinate with a new company. Was told three times they were 25 minutes away only for them to stop answering calls. If your roadside assistance refers them, definitely request a different company.
Worst experience we’ve ever had. We waited over three hours. They said twice he was on his way. He never showed up and the last time I called to find out they said they were going to check. Instead they hung up on me. When I called back it went to voicemail. We called someone else and had a tow less than an hour later.
I’d give it less than 1 if I could.
Amazing experience, i got to crush cars worth millions and billions of dollars, and i even got to do some races. the island was huge, there was a volcano, mountains, and even a town, but when i was in a race, the energy core blew up which destroyed the whole island which is also why im giving it 3 stars.
The worst experience, my car was stuck in the mud, they accepted the job, I waited over an hour for them to arrive to only make contact with them by phone and then was nonchalantly dismissed and he LIED and said my insurance canceled the job. Some things you just don't do, I would have rather honesty and them say they just couldn't do the job.
Horrible! Absolutely the worst towing company I've ever delt with. They kept saying the driver was in his way, but his GPS said he was an hour and a half away in the New Orleans area. Kenner to be exact. The dispatcher said that he didn't get out of the baton rouge area, but the roadside assistance rep for Kia said otherwise. I had to leave to go to my second job. I hear he showed up about 5 hours later.I still don't know if my car made it to the dealership before it closed.
Gave us a time frame of 90-120min. 3 hours later we are still waiting and had to get our insurance to find another tow company. Don’t take the tow if you can be there in the time frame. We have a baby sitting in the heat waiting, but they only care about that $$
Had my car towed by car crusher and had a terrible experience. Took way past the time frame kept getting delayed, no communication. No communication at pickup. Dropped my car at the shop and didn’t even give them the key just left it in the lot and didn’t tell anymore I waited for the shop to call with an update and they said they didn’t get it. So I had to get in contact with roadside and have them figure it out and to Uber over to find my car! Ridiculous!! Who just drops a car in a parking lot with the key in the cup holder?
If you want to be stranded in 102 degree weather while the streets are flooding around you, sure use this crappy provider. Waited 4 hours and no one arrived. Not only do they lie about their ETA, but they never answer their phone. Their voicemail box is full. No updates or calls for anything. My roadside assistance insurance rep also had no luck reaching them. Your description states "We'll get to your location as quickly as possible" and clearly that's a lie. What a sad excuse for a company.
Horrible service, got an appointment to sell my junk car for 1pm the next day. 1:30 pm rolls around no call no nothing. So I call and they say the storm is slowing them down give them 2 hours ok, 2 hrs later still nothing, call and he's supposedly 20 mins away. 1 hr later call back "he's on the causeway he'll be there in 35 minutes " minutes an hour later still no show or call and now they're closed. Pathetic excuse for a wrecker company.
Set up to have my junk car picked up the next day with a 1pm appointment. At 130, called and was told they were delayed because of the rain but that someone would be here within 2 hours. At 335 I called and was told the driver was 30-35 minutes away. I asked if I needed to call someone else or if they were still coming and they assured me they were coming. Then at 430 I called and was told he would call the driver and call me back. When I called him back at 445 (because no call back) I was told the driver was almost here but still 30 minutes away. When I called at 515, no answer. Same at 520, 525, and 530. Wasted my entire day on a weekend when I was moving for these liars to screw me around. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Literally ANYONE else would be more reliable.
Avoid these guys like the plague!!!! Their tow truck was impounded for no insurance! The owner came and paid for his tow truck to get out of impound, but left my truck and now I have to pay all those state fees!! They are scammers!! Stay away from them if you value your money!!!!!

This company was dispatched through my road side assistance. So first they were not honest about time and how far away they are. They would say eta then it be an hour later. I was fine with that because I had nothing to do that day anyways . Where I’m heated and livid is when I get my car back from the dealership . Everything in my car is gone . I didn’t have much of value except my boyfriend that passed away his necklace my jewelry a brand new car seat for my child . So when I picked up my car and checked the people at the dealership and there was no camera footage of anyone taking anything from my car there it leaves me only with the tow truck driver . I will be filing a lawsuit and charges because I couldn’t bring me and my child home after getting dropped off at the dealership .
I needed a tow on a Sunday night around 6 pm. They were arrived to where I was stuck in under 30 minutes, super professional and good prices. If I (when) I break down again, they’re my first call.
Car Crushers Inc was great! I had to wait for about 30 minutes which I was told would be a 90 minutes so it was well worth it! Thank you for taking care of my car! Keep up the good work!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This company picked up my request for towing through my insurance roadside assistance and I could not reach them AT ALL. I waited hours for them to pick up my car and I eventually had to cancel my request and request another towing company to pick up my claim that next morning bc I thought someone would be coming soon. I even had the tracker tracking them and it just kept saying “arriving soon”. I called several times and no answer. Very unprofessional.
Lord if I could give them zero stars I would! Waited 3 hrs for a tow and my insurance company had to cancel them after they kept lying over and over saying their ETA was 45 mins. Please don't use this company.
We drove from Florida to New Orleans and got stuck but thanks to car crushers. Tow truck came in under the time. They made me and my girls feel safe. And Dominic went above and beyond he made sure we was ok took us to hotel and made sure hotel has a room available before he left. 5 star down.
I wish I would have read these reviews before waiting 4 hours for a tow. My daughter and I learned every square inch of the Cheesecake Bistro parking lot. If your insurance company tells you that Car Crushers is on the way, cancel it!
We had a vehicle broke down and our insurance company called them to have our vehicle towed. They originally said 90 minutes to 120 minutes before they could get there. We patiently waited and after waiting 3 hours they notified us saying they were 20 minutes away. At 3.5 hours, they canceled on us. We waited for 3.5 hours in the pouring rain and they never even showed up. I would push my own car up hill in oncoming traffic on a road made of legos while I am barefooted before calling this company again. Absolutely pathetic services!!!
My road side assistance company dispatched Car Crushers to come tow my vehicle when I was stranded on the side of the road. After a couple of calls, they said they would be there in 1 hour. They never showed up and didn't answer calls from me our the road side assistance company. Unreliable at best, dishonest at worst.
