I went in to get my 2011 Cruze wheel bearing replaced, and I’m satisfied. For the first time, it’s quiet in my car, and I can hear my engine and A/C. Great repair shop. Got my jeep in and fixed it with no problem. I have now had all 3 of my vehicles repaired with them and will return if ever I need more repairs. Great prices, friendly staff and they take care of you from drop off to pick up! If you want things done right this is the shop to go!
My 2009 Ford SportTrac Adrenalin recently developed a cracked engine block and I was in desperate need of a good mechanic to remove the old engine and install a "new" one economically because I had just recently purchased a new car for my wife and I didn't want to be in the position of paying for two new cars due to hers' being totaled in an accident and my truck being out of commission as well! Plus, my truck is kind of unique and I wasn't quite ready to let it go! Dusty and his crew at Shelton's Automotive were recommended to me by another repair shop that couldn't fit me in and I don't regret contacting them at all! Dusty was up front and transparent in our initial conversation and after my engine arrived at his shop, they started on it immediately and had it repaired in less than a week. They even fixed an issue with my air conditioning and kept the overall cost at a minimum! So if you're looking for a dependable, reliable and honest shop for your car repair needs, you definitely won't go wrong choosing Dusty and Shelton's Automotive!
They order used parts not new just to barely get u back driving.. and if it’s too hard of a job they won’t even fix it again after THEY have worked on it. Kept my car for 2 months and still didn’t fix the problems.. terrible
These guys really deserve 10 stars. They went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was working properly. It's obvious that this business is built on honesty, integrity, and compassion. If you want a mechanic that will 100% stand behind his work and his word then this is the place to go.
So my husband's truck was messed completely up on us while driving We got it towed to another shop. It sat there for a week, they told us it was the key went out a professional came and said it wasn't the key. They told us it was the antenna in the ignition that's making the key not register. So the truck wouldn't start at all and the steering wheel was locked. We was told it'll be two different precession for them to fix it umm no thanks. So then we was referred to Shelton's Automotive Mr. Dusty fixed the truck in 2 seconds which blew my mind because we spent so much other places for missed diagnostics. I don't think Mr. Dusty understands the joy he gave my family I highly recommend him and his staff. Everyone we encountered with was nice and professional. We'll be back with any other problems we have with our cars
Very friendly and helpful, I am a construction worker from Texas and my truck needed a water pump. They told me it would be a few days before they had a opening. I explained my situation and they said if they had a cancel they would do what they could do. They had my truck ready that afternoon. I offered a tip and they refused. Good honest people, God bless them

They had my vehicle fixed by the end of the day!!!!! So very friendly just all around super awesome people and place!! They have my business for sure!!!!!!!
I have been using Shelton's Automotive for over 5 years. They are very reasonable on pricing as well as efficient on getting repairs done. I have had the engine, transmission, steering, front wheel bearings and complete front end replacement on a 2010 GMC Sierra. All work has been warranted but I have not had to use the warranty because of the great quality of service provided by Dusty Boyett and his guys at Shelton's Automotive. Dusty even contacted another shop in Conroe Tx about work they had done on vehicle while I was out of town. Shelton's then replaced the front driver wheel bearing on vehicle at no cost to me. I never even made a phone call. Shelton's Automotive is the only place that will work on my vehicles going forward. I highly recommend to anyone to use this business for auto needs, this is a great business with a fantastic team and owner.

I bought my corvette in for repairs on the fuel pump twice and the pump went out 7 months later. It shorted out because they did not wrapped the fuel pump harness and they left some particles in the tank. They said it came from the factory like but it didn't. They won't work on my car again.
I had an issue with my Jeep Wrangler and the ABS system. The mechanic gave me a call within 2 hours of dropping off my vehicle to tell me their diagnosis. Later in the day, he called an profusely apologized that it wouldn't be until the next morning that my Jeep would be available. Compared to other businesses who have kept my Jeep for up to two weeks, I was not concerned at all! Lovely customer service, straight-forward answers and conversation. The staff is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I absolutely recommend Shelton's to anyone needing service on their vehicle.
