Yea I agree O'Reilly's used to be a place of comradery where folks would stop in for a cup of coffee and gather to chat about their mornings. That sense of community have vanished, and you can really feel it the air just feels stale now. I remember when a lot of young adults would hang out there, just catching up and sharing their plans. It was a safe haven for them to socialize, felt nice knowing these kids had somewhere to gather with. the little brunette girl She was shy but always so attentive when the other employees were tied up. She’d get me right with the computer. With her puppy eyes and contagiously big smile, she brought a sense of freshness and compassion to the place. I used to call her the mascot, Some great workers have been let go. Now we’ve got a different girl stepped in. She does her job just fine but it just ain’t the same. Her presence doesn’t have that same warmth and encouragement that the other girl brought with her. There are unsavory types hanging around since then.

O'Reilly Management, I'm writing to express some serious concerns I've encountered during my visits to your store. On multiple occasions, I've noticed a specific employee who not only smells strongly of marijuana but also appears to be under the influence while on the job. He often engages in open conversations about marijuana with customers, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, I've seen him charging customers cash to diagnose their vehicles while on the clock, which raises ethical concerns. I've also observed him working on his motorcycle during his shifts, which is quite unprofessional. While the morning shift staff are consistently professional, respectful, and helpful, the night shift is questionable at best. They often look like they just rolled out of bed, and some resemble workers coming straight from the oil rigs. There shouldn’t be any reason for the employees to appear so unkempt; they are salespeople, not mechanics. A little effort in how they dress and adhering to a uniform would go a long way in maintaining professionalism. I’ve noticed a vape pen sitting right on the counter, which further normalizes the use of such products in the workplace. This kind of behavior sets a poor example for both customers and fellow employees. Your employees seem to be vaping and strolling through the aisles with little to no sense of urgency or purpose. The language used by some employees is quite vulgar, with frequent use of curse words, which is inappropriate in a customer-facing environment. It often feels like I’m dealing with a group of young adults who could benefit from embracing a bit more maturity in the workplace. This lack of professionalism reflects poorly on your brand and raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the store manager in instilling basic workplace etiquette and standards among the staff. Five months ago, there was a strong sense of pride and team spirit among the staff, but that seems to have disappeared. It feels as though there’s a lack of dignity at the store now, and I can't help but feel that AutoZone must be doing a better job in maintaining professionalism. I strongly recommend that the team be monitored more closely, and perhaps even consider implementing drug testing, to ensure that your standards are upheld. I genuinely hope you take my concerns seriously, as I believe in the value of your brand and want to see it thrive! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tyler helped me out big. he went out of his way to assist me. it was about to rain and I need wiper blades, due to an injury, I was not able to install them and he changed mine along with my air filter, all while being kind and personable

Had an issue with my sons truck where it had a loud squeaking noise. The problem was diagnosed by a mechanic as a bad water pump. But that didn't seem right. No codes to show that issue. I went to my local O'Reilly and talked with Jase, he helped me figure out that it was just a belt. Jase saved me hundreds in repairs.

Hands down one of the best service I’ve received. Phillip was quick to change my battery and offer helpful advice on what to do in regards to my other vehicle issues. Thank you to Phillip and the manager on duty!!

Overall my favorite of the dwindling self care auto part stores for basic things. If you want car specific items, advanced auto will surprise you. But these guys are always friendly

Damn. I usually expect someone to greet me and offer to help me find what I need but not this time. Ignored the whole time I was inside. Wouldn't have cared if I was able to find what I need with Google, but I was struggling to find what I needed on Google as well. So while I kept trying Google, the workers just stood behind the register, talking. Walked out and still didn't get asked if I needed help. Figured they didn't want my business.

I've always gotten good service here. Both in buying parts and supplies and they take used oil for recycling. Never a hassle here and they usually have what I'm looking for. They carry Wix filters which I'm a fan of.

I stopped in your store today while it was raining because one of my windshield wipers flew off. I witnessed not only one but 2 employees go out in the rain to change wiper blades for myself and another lady. That’s just good old fashioned service and very much appreciated. I was also asked by more than one employee if I needed assistance; everyone was upbeat and kind. I will always consider going to you guys first for all of my car maintenance needs. Very impressed!

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. What should have been a simple return was an issue. My dad was sold the wrong parts for his vehicle. My husband and I went to return them for the right ones. The clerk made comments like" the box is open did you steal one" which was disgusting seeing as how they sold us an open box. Refused to return all the wrong spark plugs they sold us because one had a slight oil transfer on it from our fingers. The clerk then accused us of screwing the plug in which we could tell from the beginning that it didn't fit. He then opened up every single spark plug even though the boxes hadn't been touched. Thank goodness the Lafayette location isn't too far and had workers that weren't complete idiots. They did our exchange with no issues, no rude jokes, and ordered us the right parts.I believe the guys name was Hunter. I was also warned by another customer that he was going to give me a hard time

Good service and they normally have a good stock of parts even if it’s a different vehicle than what you normally work on. The prices are a little higher than the competitors but it’s less than a few minutes away from home. I’ll pay a few dollars more rather then get caught in traffic.

No one wearing masks, not customers, not employees. They setup distant checkout terminals but let customers lay on the counters, so unsafe. This is the problem with LA. They should be sanctioned for contributing to the Covid problem.

My battery needed to be replaced in my VW and I’m so thankful I stopped at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Youngsville. Mr. Phillip was very knowledgeable and quick to assist me. Within five minutes, I was back on the road. I highly recommend this location.

We needed a generator for hurricane Delta. Keith and crew came through. Not only did we get a good generator, they gave us a great deal on it since it was the eve of the storm. Great service at a great price. Oh, and they loaded it in the truck for me too. Excellence overall.
