First time recycling metal, and LA Scrap Metal Recycling made it super easy! I called around for prices, and they had the best rate per pound. Everyone—both in the office and out in the yard—was friendly, helpful, and explained the process clearly. Highly recommend! And just a tip for first-timers: stand on the yellow line while waiting for the friendly “voice behind the mirror” to call you to the window!
Went in with around three hundred pounds of bare bright was told I can't get bare bright prices because I'm not a business. I do electrical and been saving for a little over a year just to be told I won't be given full price of what I brought. I had some 300 that was dirty from old service changes I get that's number 1 but the rest..... The guys working even took the 30 pounds of number 1 off and said the rest is bare bright. I feel ripped off.
Well I made.a mistake and went back and was cheated again. Took in 932 bronze that is 2.50 lb. And was paid 1.80 for brass. I told him what it was and he didn't even check it . Just paid me for brass.
When you tell some one something and all you get back is a stupid look that says they don't care.
Been bringing demo and job materials here for years instead of paying for them to be hauled off. Great service and the ladies at the window are incredible! Also the Gentleman that runs the front area is very professional!
When going there several things stand out. First of all the guys are friendly and helpful in the warehouse. Second the ladies in the front office are absolute sweethearts! Always in a cheerful mood, makes for a pleasant experience. Also noteworthy is the fact that the parking lot in the front and especially the back is always clean. Big shout out to Al for keeping that clean and saving people's tires! Alas nothing is perfect there is something that is a little unsettling.... They seem to deduct at times more than what is actually there in regards to plastic and trash. A penny saved is a penny earned lol. But all in all great experience! 5 stars baby!
Today was my first visit to the scrapyard, and everyone there was incredibly nice and helpful. The guy working at the outside computer I believe his name is Daniel, was especially friendly and knowledgeable. He made the process so easy. I’ll definitely be returning!!!

Picked up a 18 wheeler load staff was courteous and friendly was loaded and scaled out and on my way in a timely manner wish all shippers were like this
They gave us the best price in Lafayette Louisiana..gave us more per pound cause we brung them over 400 lbs of crushed aluminum cans in one trip... Awesome scrap yard with nothing but cement every where..NO MUD...NO Mess

Gentleman in the intake service area were very nice, welcoming and friendly. However as I walked up to service window as a Black woman whom was first in line, I was unsure which way to go. It was very CLEAR I was there before anyone else and the girl behind the mirror tint was very Rude and Racist. Good thing the white gentleman was honest and kind and spoke up for me. AND SHE WAS STILL VERY RUDE‼ BEHIND TINT‼
Everybody was so nice and polite...you really don't find that often. From the ladies behind the windows that you can't see lol but hear...they are sooooo nice and polite. My dock/loader was very nice and helpful. Wish I would have gotten names. But big ups to this place!!
