My last review was 3 years ago and nothing has changed. Still is the best all around. For the most part i know most all of workers there and never had any problems. I would like to say thanks and keep doing your jobs to the best of your ability
Have always been very nice to me and everyone else I’ve seen, even despite some of the customers being kinda rude. Place looks a little sketch, but I don’t know how to fix that and everyone involved is super professional and polite.
Went there to sale 2 mufflers as scrap bc they were just lying around and was told that wasn't enough metal. How much do I need to bring, the whole car? The guys were nice but a total waste of gas.
Aluminum department drives like they have lost their minds and takes FOREVER. The line wrapped around the entrance, no one at the drop off and they just ignored everyone! Had to call the office who apparently didnt care much but did come outside after 15min to start the line moving.
Scrap metal department great and quick.
I went there yesterday after 4 pm with 1/4 inch thick iron plates on my trailer from the tank in the picture and I got screwed on my load the guy at the scale told the office it was ferrous shreds it should of been prepared iron short iron I will never deal with y'all while I'm in Lafayette ever again they paid me $108 yesterday for my load I will take a picture of my load paper from yesterday and post it here
Me and my husband went to sell a truck. I called before hand to make sure they would take it, I was told yes they would take it. Well we get there and after they looked at said truck for maybe 45 seconds. We were told that they would not take it because it still had fluids in it. I think they should have said something when I called and asked about it.
I drove over 45 minutes 5o come to EMR All I can say is this place is just Wow. Excellent with great prices and the fellas and the ladies that work there are friendly and very helpful. They have helped me with unsure items directing me to proper area. Saving me money
Never had any problems before today th guy weighing the fine metals didn't feel like working I maybe had 1 extension cord in a trash can full of romex wire so he down graded the entire 100 lbs...not impressed with that worker
Absolutely the best yard within 150+ miles. Always fair pricing, transparent scale / weight areas and great customer service. Can't recommend them enough!!

When it comes to recycling this is the number one place in the ACADIAN area to sell your scrap material and pay you a fair price usually higher than anyone else around and when it comes to service their number one on getting you in and out of there as fast as possible so you can make as much money as possible NO HASSLE
Hours posted online say they close at 12:00 on Saturday. This isn’t true. Pulled in just before 11:30 to find out they close at 11:30. Borrowed a trailer and forklift to load it with the promise I’d have it back same day. Not happy. Very unprofessional employees as well. Won’t be back.
Very simple and quick process. I showed up a day and time that wasn't extremely busy. It's always good idea to plan out when you're going, if possible, as it can get busy. Even when it is busy, it's not a drastic wait. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Had a great experience.
They seem like good people! They have a drive thru where you can drop off your scrap. I didn't have any problems, they even took the old ceiling fans I had.
Clean scrapyard, and they pay cash. They do not take circuit boards, and you'll need about 50+ lbs of steel to weigh in. They do take aluminum cans and small quantities of separated metals at the smaller scale, just not steel. They were also very friendly and knew their stuff
The people were friendly and helpful. I got fair prices on the scrap metal I brought in. Also one of the workers helped us sell another large item. He let us follow him there very helpful
They pay decent price for clean extruded aluminum, but don't expect them to move fast. They only got 4 stars for price paid, 2 stars for them moving slow.
