My friend called to asked towing prices bc he Just got an LLC to start a towing company here in Lafayette using Tow Dollies. There are regulations though like to use tow dollies it has to be consensual Towing only, can only to cars, no SUVs or pickups, doesn't need a CDL, does Not need a certificate with the Louisiana state commission, and insurance is very cheap but can get more costly carrying more liability. My friend bought 5 used uhaul tow dollies for $500 at auction and decided to start a budget friendly towing service for those who are struggling He is also going to give local mechanics and companies a commission to tow upon referrals which will be a game changer in this lucrative towing business.
The owner of this place started making threats to my friend saying if he sees my friend towing cars with a tow dolly and advertising his number he is going to call and Tattle Tale on him bc it's a $1000 fine but in reality it's Not a $1000 fine to use a tow dolly with a business license saying you are a tow company that uses tow dollies.
This man was extremely mad bc he pays so much in insurance that he's not going to let someone with a great idea come in and out pressure on the towing business bc he's been doing this 15 years but never once thought about having a company of just tow dollies to save money and give our wonderful Cajun Country a cheaper option to have a vehicle towed.
It's Sad when you ask for advice in this business you get attacked and threatened.
This will definitely make my friends business opening so much more worth it knowing they will have Tattle Tales after him from the start bc he has a great enough idea to make towing businesses feel threatened. Good Luck on the Reporting bc My Friend is fully licensed and insured with an LLC using just tow dollies.
This company got mad at my friend bc his idea was way better then Glenn's Towing idea so Don't Hate Congratulate .

comepletely rutted my yard and refuses to compensate us bc i made a claim through fedex. Do not recommend this company and if fed ex or any other vehicle gets stuck get police involved before their driver destroys your property. Also take pictures and video.
Worst wrecker service I have ever seen. I was in a wreck(not my fault) and I asked police to call a wrecker service because I didn’t have one. When he came he immediately said you will have to pay me up front or insurance will have to pay me when I get there. His price was $211 I said no and he wouldn’t let me in my vehicle. Police came and said I couldn’t drive my vehicle because it was unsafe but then when driver asked police if he could be put back first in rotation and police said yes the driver just left and I was able to drive my vehicle home. Coincidence?
Not sure why they list themselves as 24/7. I called for service and they said they couldn't get to me until maybe the next day. The lady on the phone claimed that it was because the shop I was getting towed to would be closed by the time they were able to get it there but I had already arranged with the shop to drop it off after hours when I told her that she just said well. Call me tomorrow and we'll see if we can get to you
Wow I can’t believe how fast they helped me and was very empathetic and calmed me down in a state of panic , broken down on the side of the road. They got there extremely fast I can’t thank them enough , thank you so much for alllll your help and how quickly your tow truck got to me!! Very professional
Was in Lafayette to visit a family friend and on the way out both my tires burst on the passenger side. Glenn had their guy come out with his tow truck in just under 15 minutes - THANKS JOSH! He was very helpful and cooperative with my shift of delivery location of the car as I am not familiar with the area. Payment was a breeze and so was communication.

I’ve had the unfortunate luxury of using a few different tow companies. Glenn’s was by far the most professional from requesting a tow to the actual tow truck driver. Their prices are hard to beat too. They are definitely my go to now.
I HIGHLY receomment this company! My driver broke down on teh interstate on a saturday afternoon. EVERY tow place in teh area was either very unfriendly or didnt answer. The ones that did wanted to charge 1600 dollars or more for a 1 mile tow! Not only was this gentleman very professional and nice as could be, but he was fair and exremely helpful! With teh shops having such wait lists right now, its very refreshing to work with someone as oldschool in their was as we are, meaning amazing at what he does and friendly to boot!!! Thank YOu so much Glenn!!
First the front lady is just rude and will have you on the run around on the other side my care was full of what seemed to be dirt like complete drivers side and I had roughly 550 cash stolen from out the car when I addressed the situation the tow guys claim his men are paid enough and that’s not his problem so worst towing company in Lafayette would not recommend to anyone
Loved The Service Absolutely! It Was Exceptionally Fast Service For The Price Paid , Were Fast Getting To My Location To Pick Up My Disabled Car , Driver Was Real Professional and Had Good Conversation. He Was Driving A Really Clean Wrecker. I Paid But $78 Compared To Some Who Wanted To Charge Me Over $300 For The Same Distance Travelled . So I Most Definitely Would and Will Use Glenn's Wrecker Service Again and Reccomend Others To Do So As Well .
I spoke with a lady who was dispatching my service from her and she was beyond rude and unprofessional. Service was cancelled. I will NEVER use the company or recommend them to ANYONE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Hopefully they can address problem but I won’t be back to find out. If I could rate zero stars I would.
The workers here are simply retarded and incompetent. I schedule a tow from mid october its been 9 days, they claim they didn't receive payment yet they quoted to me factors of my included payment method then want me to pay more money for their incompetency. No one wanted to allow me to speak with a manager either. They're truly disgusting and just outright stupid
Glenns towing was AMAZING!! I had a blow out right after exit 92 on I-10. I called at 7:36 a.m. for them to come out and change my tire. By 8:20 a.m. I was already back on the interstate heading to my doctor's appt. Super amazing guys!!
Used this company a few weeks ago. I was towing a 1964 Karman Ghia. It was parked in a garage with 2 flat tires and not ideal for loading and unloading. Glenn came out and researched the best way to hook up the car. He went above and beyond in order to do the job correctly. He still only charged me the quoted price, even though he did more. Highly recommended!
My truck wouldn't start at an intersection. The dispatcher was kind, delivered a fair price, and had a driver on scene in less time than it takes to order Chinese takeout. The driver was an above and beyond sort of fella. Tow truck situations are usually pretty terrible. Not only do they pull the bandaid quickly, but they kiss your boo boo too. I hope to never need them; but Glenn's is in my back pocket if I do.
Glenn’s towing was great to work with 5 star service for sure!! Had my 31’ contender boat get into an accident at 1am morning they came with their boom truck and treated my boat with the upmost respect getting it back on the trailer and to the tow yard. Came back a week later to pick up the boat, and the whole crew made sure to get to me loaded properly and took their time to do it right! I’m not one to typically do review buts The Team at Glenn’s towing was a pleasure to work with deserves the recognition for an outstanding job well done! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Called Glenn's towing to get my right front wheel out of the ditch. They came within 30 min. Loygan hooked on to my truck and pulled it right out. VERY nice you man. I would recommend them for your towing needs.
I would recommend this service to anyone. The owner Glenn went above and beyond to help our company in a time of need. During record low temps and an ice storm he spent an extra hour helping us unload a truck and secure the load. His focus was on customer service and making sure everyone was safe! Good job Mr. Glenn!
Very poor service, the old lady at the messy desk is very rude!. Not helpful poor elderly lady locked out of her house and they wouldn't help her get her keys out of her car so she could get in her home. She had to pay a locksmith 200.00 b/c of these sorry people! As long as you are not looking for great service this would be your place!
