At a bar with my friends at around 10:00pm. The bar shares a lot with a restaurant that's been closed since 7:00pm. I park in the same spot every time I go to that bar. This time, the tow trucks show up. Tried booting every car on the restaurant's side, charged me $160 to remove the boot. Only cash or Cashapp, which isn't sketchy at all *wink wink*. The "no parking" sign was held up with zip-tie's, did not say where I could or could not park, and I had to lean in and squint to read it. Seeing other reviews about only towing at night and targeting college kids, this checks off both boxes. Extremely shady and predative, we're investigating further.
Absolutely absurd "business". Parked outside of a bar with my friends, and come back to two boots on my friend's car. The truck driver refused any payment other than cash and would not provide a receipt. I cannot believe that this sad excuse for a company is still in business. They refused to provide a number or any proof of payment, despite multiple people parking in the same spot and not getting towed. The drivers also stated that they were going to going to charge even more money to the other people after they received the payment from myself and my friend. Unbelievable that R&R Towing would encourage their drivers to extort people for money outside of bars. I will be sure to recommend that everyone stay AWAY from R&R towing.
Tammy, you’re unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely empathetic. On Saturday @5:23PM my car was towed, I called and spoke with a lady who informed me that they closed @5PM and I would be unable to pickup my car until Sunday @10AM, as well unable to retrieve items from the vehicle (Come to find out the lady’s name is Tammy ) When I told her the medication in the car was important and I was from out of town she stated there was nothing she could do and I would need to be there the following day, I told Tammy I would be leaving a bad review and asked her name. Later on (9PM) in the night I called again hoping to get a solution to getting the medication/retrieving the car as I was not from town, and when telling Tammy my car had the medication and all our money she states “You’ve left a bad review, why would I help get items out of the car” insinuating that had I not made my comment I would’ve had more help (which in the first conversation she said I was unable to do anything until the following day). Also, she is on vacation at the moment so how would she be helping me do anything? She stated they release cars from 11-12, I asked again so I can pickup my car tonight?? She stated yes between 11-12 and that 12 would be a cut off that it was considered a new day, when arriving @11PM no lights we’re on so I called and asked what to do Tammy stated “I told you 11Am-12pm” but in the previous conversation it was 10AM and then it was 11 at night so which is it?? Sunday @10AM I arrive like told and not to my surprise Tammy doesn’t have anyone there, the lady (I’m not sure her name) that arrived was really sweet, my total went up by +$30 that Tammy had told me because @11:59PM it’s considered a new day. So my car was towed AFTER they closed and I was unable to pickup, then I’m charged an extra day.. I was informed Tammy is on vacation so it’s not surprising she’s not upset my cars being towed for pointless reasonings as she’s using my money to have a good time.
Edit to add: I was towed because I was returning a parking pass to the Airbnb host (in their parking lot) and was gone for 10-15 minutes to give the pass back, when I first arrived the truck next to me had no pass. Later in the night when checking the parking lot @10PM the truck that was next to mine was still sitting in the parking lot with no pass as well as 5-7 other cars with no passes.
Just want to say I was super worried because of past reviews but when I say my experience was polar opposite, driver communicated quickly and very respectfully and the price was nearly $50 cheaper than other local companies they even went as far as bringing us to pick up rental after break down. I will definitely be using them for all future needs! Fingers crossed none but the won my business!
tows vehicles under false pretenses and makes you pay hundreds of dollars to get it back. literally goes in the middle of the night taking cars. super creepy and super weird

Took my truck Saturday night and wouldn’t give it back to me Sunday despite the office 2 ft away from them will not give me back my truck I needed it for work the same day I beg them to please take my money and write me a receipt and I’ll be on my way would not budge so now I’m stuck do not recommend this play for business or anyone
I had to give it one star because there’s no choice for zero stars. This company towed a brand new Toyota Camry and hooked up to the rear axle and tore it all up. $800 repair bill. We will be getting our lawyer on this right away.
Update. They did the right thing and paid for the repair.
I asked for a receipt numerous times but was refused by the company. I was told one price on the phone but was charged another price in person. I didn't argue the point because I needed my vehicle. A business should not be allowed to scam a customer and get away with it. I was charged $300- cash, for a tow that wasn't even 24 hours. Beware!!!!
Alright this is going to be really helpful to a lot of people; first of all why is this place rated so low? I had the best experience here and it was my first time ever being towed. It was my fault I parked in an apartment complex I didn’t see the signs; lesson learned; moving on.
Everyone; this is a family owned business, the owner literally lives right next to the yard so if ANYONE has a problem just call their number and I’m sure she will do her best to help you. She was so nice and sweet literally looks like she could be on the Bachelor; very professional and looked like the part. They are not rude at all; I have no idea why yall are being so negative in the reviews; suck it up buttercup and pay what you owe.
Thanks to the reviews on here; I didn’t know they were open on Sundays because it says they are closed but they ARE actually open 1-2PM; to help YOU out so your car doesn’t sit through the weekend. I got there at 12, they had a couple chairs, make sure you bring some water if it’s hot outside. I was out of there in like 15 minutes. Attitude and personality means a lot, treat people right and you never know what could happen! I got lucky running into the owner, but the “GUY” wasn’t far behind her so even if I didn’t meet the owner I’m sure the “GUY” would of got me out in the same timely manner.
How much was it? $15 lift home, $20 lift to R&R and $280 to get my car out of the lot. I was worried my car would get scratched or something but everything was good with it. SO, that’s a pretty good DEAL; I thought it was going to be much, much more than that.
There’s NO way this place should be rated so low; it’s your fault for parking wrong or whatever you did but please don’t take it out on this FAMILY owned business; that’s just wrong.
Future reference; when you are parking anywhere; make sure you are on the lookout for the towing signs. It’s not a myth; it does actually happen and it happened to me!

Had to drive behind one of your trucks at night on the interstate. The driver had on the two bright white lights on the back of the truck and they where blinding. It should be illegal to drive like that especially when you don't have anything in tow.
While families are to parade festivals with kids they single out my392 I start the car with remote from distance the driver still try to hook up AND DAMAGED MY FRONT BUMPER N DENTSIDE PANEL , big Handicap sticker was in windshield no right to tow n damage my vehicle they prey on innocent families so greedy for money is Mardi grass hundredsof.cars parked to view 2 hr parade. So many families n kids had ro stay walk in cold n find rides in cold weather. NO morals
Today was a bitter sweet day.. My baby ( my car) was in need of a tow. Lanae was my rescue. She was extremely professional throughout the whole experience. Very personable, knowledgeable, and careful with my vehicle .

Parked in the front of my apartment to unload some heavy items came back out they already have car on the back of truck. I explained what I was doing they didn’t care. Told me I should have parked in visitors to unload heavy items. A small lady like me. Have a heart for God Sakes !!! I understand the reason for some towing but this one wasn’t it!!! $266 for unloading something at my own apartment I’ve been paying rent at for 3 years is insane.

This is a predatory towing company that preys on college students. This bootleg company towed my son car from his apartment at 12 midnight stating they couldn’t see the parking tag. My son lives in a gated community so how did they even get in!! Would not release my car until after 8am to pile up fees!!!! Lady answering the gone unprofessional!! They have no actual towing yard just a field at their home. This company charged me $260 for a tow when my car shouldn’t have been touched. I’m looking into filing a lawsuit for car theft
I would give 6stars if it were available. This is a first class towing company and Regis is the ultimate professional. He went above and beyond to help my family in our crisis. I could not recommend him more!
Just wanted to give a special thanks to Mr. Trevor Guidry and the R&R Towing Team! Very courteous and timely Dispatcher and Driver, respectful of the property and they bring what they need! He hauled off our totaled camper and didn't leave a single rut after 2.5" of rain. I'd definitely recommend!
if i could rate 0 stars i would. very unprofessional. additional fees that do not make any sense. you can only get your car at a certain time apparently even though it was just towed. they don’t answer any of your questions or cannot properly explain why your car was towed.
This company has some of the rudest employees. They illegally towed my vehicle. There was NO sign up stating there was NO PARKING where I park. After 3 hours of being parked there a sign pops up that they put up because I seen the newly zip ties they put it up with and towed my vehicle. After me running knocking on their window to let them know that I was there they speed off. Them charged almost $300 to get my vehicle. I know there's want a sign there when I parked otherwise I WOULD NOT HAVE PARKED THERE!!!! They are rude and unprofessional.
My sisters car broke down & I spent hours looking for somewhere that actually answered & didn’t have longer than an hour wait time. My brother referred R & R so I called. Answered quick, took down my information in less than 5 minutes & was there to pick up her car within 15 minutes. Driver was super nice & helpful. Will DEFINITELY be using in the future if need be!
Today after calling numerous towing companies, this is the only company willing to help us. We have a hardtop convertible that was stuck in the open position. Shannon, the tow company driver, came out and had no issues getting it on the truck and delivering it to the dealership. Everyone we talked to at this company was courteous and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.
My car was parked on the street in downtown Lafayette on a Saturday night in a no parking zone and this joke of a company towed it to Carencro and then charged me $300 in cash to get my car back. I was in the wrong. But still don’t understand why I did not simply get a parking ticket? No ticket was issued at all. Only an expensive tow to somewhere 10 miles away. How do they have the authority to do so that when the police officers on Jefferson Street did not issue a ticket.
I picked it up on Sunday and they only let me do so between 12-1 PM. When I arrived at 11:45 AM. Someone was there, so I called and they told me to wait until 12. The trailer used as an office only had stairs for entrance, no ramp. I am disabled and could not get into the office building without a ramp. So much for ADA laws. Which is also why I parked where I did downtown, because there is no handicapped street parking in downtown Lafayette.
Overall, this is the biggest scam I’ve ever experienced!!! If you’re going to tow someone to the next town for parking violations, make sure your following rules for the rules of accessible access for business.
R&R stole my truck from a friends apartment parking spot as we were there to visit for a couple of hours. When asked why it was taken their dispatcher replied “I don’t know” when I approached the residence and asked them, they told me” We’re closed and can’t discuss business after business hours”, trying to stir up a negative response then give clarity as if they didn’t steal my truck after business hours. Mind you they go around at late night hours to target impoverished communities hoping that they can’t afford to get their cars out. It’s a wicked system that I hope God truly has mercy on them. They’re rude & though I don’t know much about them, they come off a bit prejudice as they cursed at me and called the police lying saying that I was being aggressive and felt that I was going to steal their cars and to please send help! I will definitely be speaking to the local news outlet and city council/ police jury meetings (which I attend) also seeing that their not even BBB accredited, to make sure they make some changes or be removed from practicing their business, because they lack the code of ethics and are very low class on how they deal with people.
If I could leave a zero star review I would. If you want to pick up your car on the weekend goodluck. Called the “office” on Saturday saying i needed to puckup my car before work on Monday where I was told there would be someone at the office to let me get my car. Waited there for over 2 hours for someone to come after I was finally able to get in touch with whoever runs this place. Ever get towed by these people good luck
Very unprofessional "24/7" service. Told the rep over the phone that I was going to pick up my vehicle in the next hour only to get there and find out that the rep went home. I was willing to pay whatever price to get my car out in a timely manner due to family plans but again, no rep to manage the transactions. Eventually I had one of the drivers attempt to help me and after awhile, the guy gave up and another driver helped out. Roughly over an hr, I eventually got checked out. Another strange thing was that I was told to pay a specific fee over the phone and then told a slightly higher fee when I got there, but instead, paid an even higher fee due to towing and credit card fees... Very interesting business.. if it's that easy to get away with service like that, then I'd like to invest in one as well.
