Their driver closed a major ramp for at least a month because he didn't know a dumpster was sitting on his truck? It would be funny except for the major trouble this has caused.
Every week our business gets skipped. They would rather pay the credit EVERY week than pick up your trash. Takes over an hour to get anyone on the phone anytime you call. Simply get another trash company they are the worst.
Absolutely the worst business trash service we have ever used. Tried everything to resolve issues and they have weekly missed pickups with no resolve, monthly erroneous billing errors with no resolve, the drivers are very rude and customer service and our local rep are of ZERO help. I really do not like having to write this review but with 3 locations that they service for us we are desperate to get some response or change for other businesses who contract their services. Please do better in the future Republic. and I was forced to HIT 1 STAR to POST !!
Not happy one bit called about a new dumpster with a lock for the restaurant I manage because stay by people dump all kinds of things in our dumpster all time of the day and night and receive another one without a lock so now I have to spend more time calling again and probably gonna get charged again for them to switch it to the correct one that they messed up on delivering this is ridiculous
Left a negative review previously and the company reached out and made things right. Kerensa provided excellent timely customer care and would recommend their services to anyone who is in the market for a solid/attentive company
Republic Services New Orleans is the best waste removal service & dumpster rental business in Metairie. We rent a dumpster from them & have it serviced once a week for our business. We previously used another waste company and they always missed there service date, horrible customer service & wanted us remain paying a service we disliked but republic services is very professional, on time, very clean & they have excellent customer service & we love the emails we recieve to let us know when the truck is on its way, when the service has been complete & any re-scheduling. As a business here in metairie we highly recommend Republic services!
After dealing with a substandard company that couldn’t keep a scheduled route, I contacted Republic Services of New Orleans for the apartments that I manage. It was the best decision I could have made. The customer service I received from Al Copeland and April Greene was top notch! Since signing on with Republic the pick up has been consistent. They were also here for us after Hurricane Ida. They supplied extra rolloff dumpsters quickly so that we could move forward with clean up efficiently. I have nothing but great things to say about this company.
Republic Services & Jill Truelove have been very helpful and responsive to my company's needs. Appreciate their service and time. Also, greatly appreciate the local communications and not with someone in another country that I can not understand. THANK YOU!

April Green and her team have been a life saver they have went above and beyond on numerous occasions. When our conpactor went down and our 32 storie building was under renovation they worked super hard to get the conpactor repaired and supported us with extra dumpster pick ups to keep our project going smoothly. April contacted us often to make sure our needs were met. The service we received was priceless and the care given was reassuring.
My driver is the BEST! Always makes sure that my area is clean and tidy before he leaves. And I love the fact that I have a local rep instead of just talking to someone at a call center out of town. Great customer service!
Very disappointed with there services. Customer service seems to be there last concern. My trash was scheduled to be picked up on it’s normal day, my trash was not picked up, I called to report a missed pickup and they STILL did not pick my trash up. This was not the first time this has happened, when I called to cancel my services because I was fed up with it, I was on hold for an HOUR and ten minutes before I was even able to speak to anyone. They tried charging me for the month of August when I had ZERO trash pick ups in August. It was just an all around bad experience and I would not recommend them.

We have been doing business with this company for a long time. The service they provide is first class. The drivers are focused on safety. The drivers are attentive and courteous.
Miss April Greene has been exceptional. With a new building under construction this summer we had to have our dumpsters moved three times. Miss April was responsive, committed, and made site visits to ensure it was a smooth process. April is an tremendous asset to republic services as a whole.
As the manager of an apartment complex in which the owner is a contractor; I have been dealing with waste removal for several years. April Green, Tammi Jenkins, James Harding and Richard Leggett are all part of an ALL STAR team that gets the job done and done WELL! I highly recommend Republic Service, because they are the BEST!!
This business deals with trash and they directly take after their product. They have no problem holding your truck for hours but when it comes to paying you for the detention. They wont pay detention even if you have times on the BOL. Stay clear of these types of shippers/receivers, they wont change their ways unless the collective hold them accountable.
