On October 3, 2015, my car broke down in the middle of Airline Hwy and Labarre Rd at night. AAA dispatched United Towing to assist me. When the driver called, I explained the urgency — my car was stuck in traffic and the police were already on site.
When I briefly put him on hold to speak with the officer, he hung up. When I called back, he cursed at me and told me not to call again.
This was not only unprofessional but dangerous, as I was stranded in a hazardous spot. I’ve reported this to AAA so they are aware of how their member was treated.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this company at all costs.
Showed up in the pouring down rain in only 30 min which was how long he said he would be. Very professional and very reasonably priced. Didn’t play any games like other tow companies do.
I don't typically do reviews and this is way overdue. We were stuck with a flat in a parking garage at a hotel with no lights, just not the place to change a flat with a jack past its prime. After multiple companies took the job and no showed Direct Towing agreed and was out to us and had us fixed in less than 45 minutes after waiting hours for others. We really appreciate their fast service. I don't remember his name, but this was two months ago and his kindness, professionalism, and speed are still appreciated enough for me to still do a Google review well after. Definitely your go to towing company in NOLA.
My elderly mother hit a curb and popped her tire right by my house. After 3 failed attempts to get roadside assistance in a timely fashion from some other companies, I called these guys. They were professional, gave me an accurate eta, and were incredibly nice. They did a great job and even made sure the spare had proper air before calling the job done. Bookmarked for my own use and will recommend to others!

Superior tow service. We all know how stressful it is to be stranded with a broken car. This gentleman’s tow service helps alleviate that stress by showing up when scheduled, very friendly attitude and excellent communication. Would recommend his tow service to anyone without the slightest hesitation. I now have him in my contacts should the need again arise. Give him a call and you’ll see why that’s the case. After dealing with this company today, it has become very clear to me that they are breaking several laws in the state of LA, to extort money from non suspecting drivers. I’ve done my homework, and will be filing the police report and pursuing charges to the fullest extent on this driver and his helper in their practice of predatory towing. That’s correct, look it up. This company and the driver I encountered today are crooks and deserve everything coming to them. Not to mention, the damage that was done to my vehicle while they towed it but denied doing it. I’ll be pursuing payments in those damages as well. Notice also, no display of a state tag, which makes this vehicle not even legitimate to be on state roadways. This company is going to wish they never hooked my vehicle today.
Attention expeditors or someone that need "irregular" service to help with your car/truck. Wayne's guys went above&beyond when one of my trucks box broke down. They were communicative and fast. They kept their word and finished everything on time. They were the only one in the area to help us.

After learning my Roadside Asst would take over 2hrs, I Googled towing companies near me and Direct was the ONLY company that could provide a pickup from the heartbeat of Metairie, (Lakeside Mall), in less than an hour. The price was fair, so I requested the tow. The driver, Mr. John, showed up, hooked up the car and unloaded it in my driveway in Destrehan in little over an hour. He was professional and courteous and even made us laugh although we were facing car repairs. I've saved his number because I'll call Direct Towing again if I need a tow.
I bought a car from Mr.Dwayne. And he sold me the car through salvage title which is illegal. And I called to ask him about it. And he has blocked my number. Do not recommend anything from this company. Getting the law involved so it’s okay. But still people have the courtesy to do this is insane.
This company was very unprofessional I hired them to help my daughter and not only was the driver late he also made advances toward my daughter and to top it off items were missing from her vehicle after he towed it. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Find any other tow truck.
Our car broke down at 10:30 at night. The gentlemen from Direct towing answered my call and were at my location in 20 minutes. The driver was super friendly and accommodating. Before we knew it, the car was hooked up, and we were on our way home. Terrific company, super accommodating, and went above and beyond. Great experience, and should I need another tow, I am calling Direct Towing.

No Show...after three times telling me that he would tow an abandoned car left in parking lot! Wasted a day waiting. You could have just told me you didn't want the car! Took my business elsewhere and they showed up within 30 minutes of my call!
I was out of town and my wife had pulled over in the parking lot and the truck wouldn't start. I called and asked for a quote for a tow. I explained what was wrong with the vehicle and he suggested roadside assistance which was cheaper. Long story short, they showed up 15 min early, fixed the problem, and were very kind and professional! Call this place 1st!!!
I called for a tow in the early evening to have my car towed out of the busy mall parking lot. Sir & Wayne were fantastic! They both were very polite and professional throughout the whole process. Very fast and efficient. Prices were not completely outrageous either. Be aware that they only accept cash in the moment. Will definitely call again for any other towing needs. Nice job guys.
