Mardi Gras towing, although often viewed as an inconvenience by many, actually showed me a lot of love. As I was on my way to work , I had in incident that lead to the following , resulting in my car being towed. However, the towing company employees were incredibly kind and understanding, offering me a discounted rate and even discounting my vehicle getting towed to my home. Their compassion and willingness to help me in a stressful situation demonstrated a sense of community and generosity that is often unseen in the towing industry. Despite the initial frustration, I came to appreciate the unexpected act of kindness that Mardi Gras towing showed me, teaching me the importance of empathy and understanding in everyday interactions. Again thank you!
Richard from Mardi Gras towing was very helpful when I wrecked my truck and didn’t have a vehicle to get there and retrieve my things. He stayed after hours and let me make an appointment to come at my convenience! Very highly recommend dealing with Richard
I was disappointed with my recent experience at MARDI GRAS TOWING . The man was very rude & told us we have to pay $80 for a key when we already told him we have our own key . The place closes at 5:00 it was 10:00 am on a Friday he told us he doesn’t have any appointments until Monday just to hold our car and make money . He told me he is going to hang up and block my number all because I asked a question. Something has to be done . They treat people so bad . It has my skin boiling . I hope the company takes my feedback seriously and make necessary changes . This is ridiculous.
They were great. Our insurance company couldn’t get a tow truck to us because of the weather and flooding so we started calling around. Mardi Gras Towing came to our rescue. We had to wait a while but that was expected because there was flooding everywhere and lots of cars needed towing. The service was great, the price was good and I would definitely use them again.
I didn't have any issues with them. The way I did when I was forced to use Moon's Towing... Now, that place is an absolute nightmare and needs to be shut down immediately.
My car broke down in Metairie and they came quickly to tow it to the dealership. Kendrick was very professional and made sure my car was towed undamaged.
I was in a bind, my car broke down while I was a long way from home, but Mardi Gras Towing took good care of me. I believe the driver's name was Ray. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me figure out my best options. The bill was reasonable and the service was everything I needed it to be. Thanks guys!
0 stars should be an option. Highway robbery!!! My 19 year old daughter car stopped on her in a dangerous spot on the interstate. Causeway exit going towards the Causeway. I don’t know if it was her battery or what. I asked if the car was close to the edge as possible. She stated yes, but my emergency lights isn’t working. I told to walk off the interstate and go to one of the gas stations and I’ll pick you up from there. I had to exit Causeway, Veterans exit. We entered the Bonnabel in ramp. The way this intersection is made we could not get to the causeway exit from it. So we had to exit go all the way to Canal Street exit, then enter the Canal street on ramp, pass the Bonnabel exit. To exit Causeway. It took me 45 minutes to finally get to where the car was supposed to be. The Louisiana state police had to car towed. Because they believed it was abandoned. Ok find the give me the tow company name and number. Mardi Gras Towing. 5 miles away from where the car stopped. I call Mardi Gras towing Richard answered I asked about the car. He stated yes it was towed because it was abandoned. I asked how much would it be to get the car out tonight. He stated we are closed. I have to call back Monday. Oh wait Monday is a holiday so you have to call Tuesday. I stated how are you closed we you guys just towed the car. So o than asked for a supervisor. Richard told me that they are opened for the state police 24/7 and I will hang up on you and block you because you are yell. I told him I am not yelling I talk loud and I just wanted to know if I would have storage fee because I trying to get the car out tonight and most tow companies has after hours fees when it’s after a certain time. He hung up in my face and blocked me. There hours are 8-5 the same as my work schedule. How can a person that work my schedule get there car out? I had to send my father there with a copy of my insurance card and a notarize letter. Even though they closed for 5pm this had to be done by 3pm. They charge you $185 to tow your car 5 miles. $110 for storage. Other fees and taxes the total was $441. The Louisiana State Police needs to find another company to contract with. There prices are ridiculous. Over charging because of the situation.
Crooks, I was quoted 35p to 450 to tow a Semi 9.3 miles. When I received the bill, it was 875 dollars cause they had to pull the truck from underneath the trailer and hook up from the rear. No drive shaft was removed. Never advised by the tow company of a 425 dollar charge till they ran my credit card! Be careful of this company! They were advised the truck was still connected prior to dispatching a tow truck.
Theu couldn't handle my tow but did line me up with another tow company in Mandeville to handle the tow I was in need for at last minute. That was what I needed and even tho they didn't tow me, I was still taken care of and for that they still get five stars from me. Thanks Gail and lorI.
Literally would give these people ZERO stars if I could. Towed a dirt bike 5 miles. Stored it for less than 48hrs & charged me $451. What a shame- idk how these ppl sleep at night. Robbery. Garbage business
Called Moon’s Towing to get a price on winching our Heavy Wrecker out of some wet grass while trying to load a wrecked truck from a salvage yard. Moon’s Wrecker wanted 741 dollars to come and literally straight line winch our truck out. Called Mardi Gras Towing and Gil the owner were Johnny on the spot for 3/4 less the price of Moon’s. Save yourself the trouble and call Mardi Gras. Plus they have some pretty sharp trucks. Thanks again guys.
Mardi Gras towing did not take it vantage of me when I was out of state and in a pickle. Their prices were very very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone!
I had my vehicle towed and I expected the worst after having it there a while. Easily the nicest people in the city. I had money that I didn't even know about in plain view and many valuable items that were left untouched. These guys have integrity and I will vouch for their professionalism until the day I die.
Tow truck just came speeding through a residential area on Broadway street in front of my house. Bouncing off the height changes on our newly paved block so hard he sounded like a dump truck. Then blew through the stop sign turning on Walmsey to exit the neighborhood.
