The driver of their tow truck is not respectful of peoples property. Yesterday, they towed a car from a neighbors property where they had blocked up my property until they were done. In the mean time, it's trash night, they moved my trash cans from my property to get the car. None of this would had been a big deal if they would had at least put my property back rather than leaving it how they did it for something that had nothing to do with me and my property. Additionally, the driver apparently isn't suitable for this type of job because he had to get another neighbor help him move the vehicle as well - and not the neighbor whos property it's on. It's all recorded on my security cameras.

I did not find what I was looking for, but I’m pretty sure you can find what you’re looking for. They have all kind of stuff in there. Anything you need the entry is two dollars to enter. Make sure you bring your own tools to pull it apart.

I have been going to the diy pull-a-part used auto parts for a long time. I worked as an auto technician for many years. Pull*a*part is my No.1 favorite parts place. I love how the cars are set up on the rims and easy to access all the parts. I have 2001 jeep grand Cherokee and saw plenty of Jeeps to pick from. So, I thought that I hit a gold mine of Jeep parts. A month later when I went back. P-a-P brought in 2 new jeeps but all those other 6 or7 were gone. Needless to say I was disappointed cause I thought I had hit the mother load. If you see any of the parts that you need. Do not waste any time. Get them now!

Went there today at 4:15pm. Suppose to close at 5:30pm yet they were packing up closed upon arrival. Bad business model. My mechanic stayed they do this all the time.

Some of the best customer service I've experienced in “The Big Easy”…..especially being a junkyard!! We were visiting from Michigan and caught a flat. They helped me to get a tire and I was back on the road. Thanks Flash, your AWESOME BRO!!! And the price for a steel rim w/ tire was unbeatable. Thank you Pull-A-Part. Shar

Large salvage yard, the biggest I've seen. Unfortunately for me, all the parts I needed were picked clean. Leaving empty handed, feeling down on my luck. I didn't leave hungry though, they have a taco truck!

My girlfriend used this business as she was getting rid of her old vehicle. Not only did they dishonor her appointment time, but they did so without apologizing and gave little compensation for an expensive Audi. She was spoken to rudely and aggressively. If you want to be respected as a customer, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Courtney ask questions and got specific information and details about my vehicle to sell to pull-a-part today and she was just the most pleasant person to do business with. She was professional and answered all of my questions with informative responses. I felt 100% secure and confident during the whole process because of her level of professionalism and her outstanding attitude. I don’t ever give reviews unless they are either extremely terrible or extremely outstanding and just all around pleasant. Today I absolutely had to give credit where it was due and be sure to let everyone know, if you have to talk to anyone about selling a vehicle with Pull-a-part in Harvey, Courtney is the best person to get the job done and leave you feeling satisfied with the sale, and at complete ease of mind, knowing there are still people on this earth that take pride in doing the best they can do at there job and treat their customer with total dignity and respect and leave you with a smile and happy vibe. Thanks so much Courtney!

I do not recommend. I was not please with this company. The only person that was helpful was the dispatch person that wasn’t even local (out of GA). They cannot secure a timeframe on when they will be there. They only say “We’ll be there between 8am and 5pm” which does not work for most people. Even Cox Cable or ATT gives you a 2-3 hour time frame. I even asked if I could be the last pick up of the day to try and buy me some time to come from out of town and they still called me at 8:30am. After much frustration, the dispatch center was able to confirm a time (between 12:00 and 1:30pm) and they called at 1:20pm stating they were 45 minutes out. There are other companies out there that are more accommodating than Pull A apart was.

Always a very pleasant experience, prices are fair and the team is very knowledgeable about the parts. Just an example from today, I left my phone in a vehicle, GiGi offered to call my phone until I was able to locate it, the best part I didn't have to ask. So, I would like to thank Ken and Brian they were there to help as well. I love coming to this location.

I definitely must give credit where credit is due. I visited the boulevard today in New Orleans. I drove from Baton Rouge for a specific vehicle. Unfortunately the part that I needed off of the vehicle was damaged. I returned empty-handed, without my part, but was incredibly impressed by their employees. Jessica, Lexi, and I believe his name is Ken went way above the call of duty and totally exceeded my expectations. Jessica gave me her personal phone number just in case I was notified that another vehicle that matches my needs were to come in, that way I would not have to drive all the way to New Orleans again to just be disappointed. Lexi search their inventory to try to help me find another vehicle that might possibly have the part I needed. Can pulled up the year make and model of my vehicle, and informed me of every make sure that Lexus Mitch that I could find the parts I needed. I have a Lexus RX 330, and he informed me that the same parts could also be found on the 2007-2009 Lexus RX 350 or the 2007 through 2009 Lexus 400H. I left there with so much more information than I came in with and these three employees completely exceeded my expectations with gigantic smiles on their faces the whole time. Thank you so much guys for your excellent service. You turned what could’ve been a bad experience into an amazing experience!

Went in for a part, came out with a new car. Used vehicles here in great condition. Loving my new 2011 Dodge Caliber. Got it for a steal in pristine condition. Gigi and John were a great help! Made the process smooth and quick. Very friendly staff. If you are looking for a used car I highly recommend stopping here first!

Had forgotten this place existed. I've been climbing in and out of my passengers side door for months. Was frustrated pricing parts online and just wrote 'a part' inyo the search engine and it was kind enough to remind me a little elbow grease and luck and now I'm headed home to fix this once and for all without spending a fortune. Thsjk hod for pull apart!

When I called, I spoke with the manager directly (unknowingly) and she was extremely helpful and polite. The computer system shut down on her while she was assisting me, so she went above and beyond to ensure my pick up was scheduled.

Excellent place if you're looking for an engine or any car part! The employees are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I'm thrilled with the experience my husband and I had pulling a Jeep engine. We will definitely be back in the future! It's an awesome place!

There are a lot cars to pick from and an online listing of what they have and its location. Im sure Katrina wiped them out in 2005, so there aren't many older cars. They have a diverse staff which I'd bet speak Spanish and Vietnamese (there are large communities of both in this area). The prices are good and many have standard prices for nonspecific stuff like hoods, engines, transmission doors...

I've been going to this pull a part for a few years now, as it's the only one in New Orleans that I know of. I've always had a good experience until the last few times I went. The employees at the register have been argumentative and disrespectful, the prices they charge are higher than listed and the management is even rude and combative. I had trouble with the price I was charged and the woman at the counter, before I had even finished speaking, waved me off the side and shouted "next customer" without even acknowledging that she intended to call a manager to help me. The manager came after she yelled to him when she was done helping a few more customers. He was immediately dismissive of my issue and his first resolution was for me to "call corporate if I had a problem." He didn't even let me speak 3 words about what that problem was so it seemed quite low on his priority list. The issue at hand was that I had pulled two rims, which had tires on them, expecting to pay $9.95 each for them, as your website advertises a rim with tire unfit for road use. When I get to the counter my total comes to $53 and some change. The tires had about 10% tread at best and were covered in dry rot and grease (not fit for road use). His argument was that they were "basically brand new" and "you have no clue how much new tires cost." He asked me right before I walked out "How do you expect me to make money if I give away good tires?" I don't. But how do YOU expect to make money if you let poor management screw your customers over? You must have recently hired the manager running that location, and it would be in your business's best interest to look into his hiring and training practices, as well as his approach to what he calls "customer service"
