Pull-A-Part JunkYard in Harvey (LA)

There are a lot cars to pick from and an online listing of what they have and its location. Im sure Katrina wiped them out in 2005, so there aren't many older cars. They have a diverse staff which I'd bet speak Spanish and Vietnamese (there are large communities of both in this area). The prices are good and many have standard prices for nonspecific stuff like hoods, engines, transmission doors...

A good place to get the car parts you need. Their inventory is accessible though the web, but they don't advertise much that they will get some parts for you at a price.

Had forgotten this place existed. I've been climbing in and out of my passengers side door for months. Was frustrated pricing parts online and just wrote 'a part' inyo the search engine and it was kind enough to remind me a little elbow grease and luck and now I'm headed home to fix this once and for all without spending a fortune. Thsjk hod for pull apart!

Courtney ask questions and got specific information and details about my vehicle to sell to pull-a-part today and she was just the most pleasant person to do business with. She was professional and answered all of my questions with informative responses. I felt 100% secure and confident during the whole process because of her level of professionalism and her outstanding attitude. I don’t ever give reviews unless they are either extremely terrible or extremely outstanding and just all around pleasant. Gi Gi and Kevin awesome customer service

My girlfriend used this business as she was getting rid of her old vehicle. Not only did they dishonor her appointment time, but they did so without apologizing and gave little compensation for an expensive Audi. She was spoken to rudely and aggressively. If you want to be respected as a customer, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Need to increase the # of charged cars to rent onsite because it is really difficult to carry the tools and the parts you are getting with the wheelbarrow.

I bought a car from here a few years ago and i was very happy with my purchase. The car was in good condition. i rencently got rid of it a couple of years ago, now i'm going to buy another car in a few weeks from now,and guess where i'm going to buy it from? Yup... pull a part.

Always a very pleasant experience, prices are fair and the team is very knowledgeable about the parts. Just an example from today, I left my phone in a vehicle, GiGi offered to call my phone until I was able to locate it, the best part I didn't have to ask. So, I would like to thank Ken and Brian they were there to help as well. I love coming to this location.

I do not recommend. I was not please with this company. The only person that was helpful was the dispatch person that wasn’t even local (out of GA). They cannot secure a timeframe on when they will be there. They only say “We’ll be there between 8am and 5pm” which does not work for most people. Even Cox Cable or ATT gives you a 2-3 hour time frame. I even asked if I could be the last pick up of the day to try and buy me some time to come from out of town and they still called me at 8:30am. After much frustration, the dispatch center was able to confirm a time (between 12:00 and 1:30pm) and they called at 1:20pm stating they were 45 minutes out. There are other companies out there that are more accommodating than Pull A apart was.

I definitely must give credit where credit is due. I visited the boulevard today in New Orleans. I drove from Baton Rouge for a specific vehicle. Unfortunately the part that I needed off of the vehicle was damaged. I returned empty-handed, without my part, but was incredibly impressed by their employees. Jessica, Lexi, and I believe his name is Ken went way above the call of duty and totally exceeded my expectations. Jessica gave me her personal phone number just in case I was notified that another vehicle that matches my needs were to come in, that way I would not have to drive all the way to New Orleans again to just be disappointed. Lexi search their inventory to try to help me find another vehicle that might possibly have the part I needed. Can pulled up the year make and model of my vehicle, and informed me of every make sure that Lexus Mitch that I could find the parts I needed. I have a Lexus RX 330, and he informed me that the same parts could also be found on the 2007-2009 Lexus RX 350 or the 2007 through 2009 Lexus 400H. I left there with so much more information than I came in with and these three employees completely exceeded my expectations with gigantic smiles on their faces the whole time. Thank you so much guys for your excellent service. You turned what could’ve been a bad experience into an amazing experience!

Went in for a part, came out with a new car. Used vehicles here in great condition. Loving my new 2011 Dodge Caliber. Got it for a steal in pristine condition. Gigi and John were a great help! Made the process smooth and quick. Very friendly staff. If you are looking for a used car I highly recommend stopping here first! 👍🏻

New Orleans pull a part has always been my number 1 spot for car part shopping. The staff they have there are awesome and are always willing to help. Ty pull a part new orleans!

Bought a power steering pump and it didn't work. Brought it back after 30 days without the receipt hoping to exchange it. The manager or supervisor Griselda helped me out. Found a solution to my problem! She was awesome 👌! I want to thank Griselda and the whole New Orleans West team at Pull A Part!

Pricing on the website is not accurate at all. I've been there 3 times now to get parts for a 2000 dodge truck. After hours of pulling the parts I needed and got to the register the over 20 year old parts weren't far off of buying new or rebuilt parts. They wanted 60 for a blower motor, that ended crapping out 3 months later. 15 dollars for the little ring that goes around my radio. A brand new complete kit goes for 15. And when I checked the price on their website, it said base price for a blower motor was around 25. Oh and a starter, they wanted 55 for that!! For a 23 year old starter??? That's the last time I spend time pulling parts to get charged like I'm at AutoZone buying new stuff!!!

Customer service was horrible. The manager gave me and my friend, who went back without me, a different prices. I totally believe it was because I'm black and my friend was white.

I was told about this place from a friend when I needed a new part but didn't want to spend so much on an old car. When I got here I was greeted by the very professional Jesse(I hope I spelled that right). She was very professional(and pretty), and she signed me up for the Pull-a-Part VIP club account in no time at all. Hopefully my car doesn't break down to often but if it does I know where I'm going for parts.

When I called, I spoke with the manager directly (unknowingly) and she was extremely helpful and polite. The computer system shut down on her while she was assisting me, so she went above and beyond to ensure my pick up was scheduled.

It's nice to go into the yard looking for the parts needed but it's quite disappointing to see that half of the employees see you as a burden not as a customer. I do online shopping for a living and I care about any customer wanting to collect their items (and I stay minutes after closing with good disposition) Today I arrived at 4:43 pm and as I'm about to enter the building a guy yells at me "we close at 5" (until recently they were open till 5:30 pm). Inside the property, as soon as I found my car being 4:48 pm , the burglar alarm went off and also a police-like siren which made the area very inhospitable for my daughter and myself We headed out at 4:55 pm so minutes before closing time... Ironically, I have been telling some of my customers at work about Pull a part recommending that place to them Ouch

Excellent place if you're looking for an engine or any car part! The employees are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I'm thrilled with the experience my husband and I had pulling a Jeep engine. We will definitely be back in the future! It's an awesome place!

Went to Pull A Part in New Orleans,La for some parts. I can honestly say I was in and out in no time. The staff were very helpful and understanding of the parts I needed and even offered to loan me tools to pull the parts I needed. I highly recommend Pull A Part New Orleans for all your quick junkyard parts!!!!

Lafayette Louisiana location Margaret was a friendly helpful associate who deserves a raise. She had the building looking spotless and a clean fresh scent. Maintenance people is often overlooked but they gives customer their impression of a company. I did not want to get down but my husband convinced me and the store front was well upkept. Thanks Margaret and others for all you do.

Very good place for parts. Not that much cheaper than Amazon, but you gain much-needed experience so you know how it goes back on

my number one place to go look for car part when I need any. I would recommend to anyone. I went last week to look for a part for my truck and I was satisfied with everything. The Cashier Gigi was very friendly and helpful.
