Great resource for the community. This place reduces food waste and makes shopping for lower income families affordable. ♥️ wonderful job guys!

Decent store with great variety. Nice employees and very helpful. Most prices are great. Many items are near expiration or with damaged packaging. Watch prices for great deals.

You never know what you'll find but the prices are good and the staff is friendly. Most things are either out of season stuff (like pumpkin spice tea/cereal in July) or shelf stable stuff that is just past the "best by" date. I can walk out with a full cart of groceries for $150-200 that would have cost twice as much at Walmart. You just have to be flexible. There is usually condiments, candy, chocolate, toiletries, some fruit and frozen stuff, granola bars and snacks, coffee...other stuff may vary

18OCT25 ~ It is a good place to find reduced price items of all kinds. The staff I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Yes, the shelves are not as organized as some stores and, if you understand that they receive their goods from and place them where they have room, it is understandable. They do have just about everything in the grocery area that you might need. Whenever we are near, we go there and will continue to do so...

Absolutely worth going to for snacks and other things! Way cheaper! And Jimmy one of the store employees was so nice and helpful with us getting dog food got us tape to fix the bag! We come here everytime we are in the NOLA area! We call it our cheap date it's like finding treasure everytime we go! Highly recommend!

My coworker has been telling me to go to this place for years. She recently told me that she saw a dozen eggs for 99¢, so I decided to stop by. Many items are 50% off but I would encourage you to check the expiration date on the items. Some were expired, some were not expired. Overall, one cannot beat the low prices so I do recommend checking them out.

This place is a mess. Shelves of expired and near expired dry goods await your scrounging. Does taco seasoning really expire? Christmas M&Ms? Probably not. Mayonnaise is more iffy. The prices are really cheap and they even have a liquor section. The bottle of $3 Aperol spritzer dupe was actually really tasty. If you like highly processed food and bargains it’s worth a try. The disorganization is maddening but they do bag your groceries at the end. There are some frozen foods - lots of BbQ pizza the day I went. Happy hunting.

The location on Jefferson Hwy. has great customer service. They also offer better prices on food, household items and everything else. If you never been, you need to take a look.

I remember going here often absolutely loved the store. Prices were substantially good, I just wish there's more locations in different states like in Mississippi and Tennessee.

Well stocked, well lit, and seemed more spacious. Prices compared to regular grocery reasonable, however you must ck the product dates. Courteous employees, fast checkout, accepts SNAP. QQA

Wowza! Even considering I was unable to get any vegetables or meat (which I understand they have ... Sometimes?), on my first trip here today found a number of household staples at just ridiculously low cost (all half the price or less than my usual Winn Dixie). Well worth the drive.

Definitely worth a trip, but the store is really hit or miss. You'll likely find some good stuff. Definitely not a one stop grocery shopping kind of store. I like to visit every now and then. The store is usually messy, but shoppable. Staff is also hit or miss as far as friendliness.

I don't know why the owner is making things so expensive now. If I wanted to pay full price I would go to a closer store that is clean and doesn't have expired food. I come here to save money so imagine my disappointment to find my favorite flavor ramon noodles(that used to be $0.10) and I couldn't buy any because they are now priced at $0.45!!! I went to Walmart after and saw them for $0.30!!!! Another example is Keurig coffees go on sale at a regular store for $3.99, here they are mostly expired and higher priced then the regular store price. The cheapest I saw was $5.74 and went up to $10! Rouse's had a bunch of unexpired ones for $2.99! Why is a salvage store pricing higher then a regular store? Have you forgotten people come here to save money? If I wanted to overpay I would shop at Whole Foods. Please lower your prices so we can come back again. It's a far drive for us to be disappointed by high prices.

Great deals. Have to frequent often! I love the fill the bag for 3.00. An amazing deal! I got bunch of Reese candy and cheezits and oreos! Great idea!

The staff are pretty nice, but if you're on a tight budget this is the place to go. Yes, so things maybe expired (according to the package) but they are still capable of being eaten. Some items just didn't make it bc of the creativity of the brand. So if you willing to see what dill pickle mayo (j/k) taste like then give it a shoot. Seriously it's worth the drive and the shopping

You can find some good deals here on various items in various states of condition and various states of disorganization. It is definitely always an adventure here as you just never know exactly what you might find. They have some things like dinged and bent food cans along with some products that look fine which may or may not be approaching their expiration date or maybe past it. Overall this is certainly a worthwhile place to investigate to just see what all they have on offer.

Prices are questionable! Same product can be found for less than $10 at Walmart! Can’t believe a salvage store no less would jack up their prices like that. Last time coming here. If anyone wants to shop at a salvage store I recommend the one in Covington. It’s worth the drive!

Bought all the ingredients to make breakfast for 6ppl 3 days and some things to take back to ATL...$37.88 it would have cost that just to feed three people one day much less 6 people for three days and Extras I love the prices

Would give 3 1/2 stars It was my first time shopping here - impressed with choices, concept and quantity of stock. They offer large variety of perishable and non perishable groceries. Unfortunately, not much for pets(food, treats etc) or cleaning products. Definitely check dates on packages! Several items had incredibly low prices but expired 6 months ago - so be mindful. Also check prices(not all items on the cheap!). Will definitely shop here again because of savings
