Its sad really to see managers walking around on their phones texting and other managers watching full length movies at their desk when they should be working when I came in to this facility the other day you'd think with this company being as big as they are they would have a better work ethic. Its a shame really. I wont do business here ever due to that.

Copart states they close at 5 pm at this Baton Rouge location. I had a vehicle scheduled for pickup between 3 and 4 pm Friday 11/14/25 Get there at 4:04 pm the front receptions tells me “we close the yard at 4 let me ask if they are willing to bring it out.” As she proceeds to talk over the walkie talkie “ We got a pick up can you guys bring it out EVEN THOUGH HE IS 4 MINUTES LATE!” She did not have to emphasize i was late 4 minutes, and the inside operator probably would have brought it out had she not said it that way. It was a Friday i just wanted to pick up the vehicle and be on my way. Very unprofessional even though it was a Friday you still had 56 minutes until close.

Beware of this location I bought a 2000 Porsche 911. The pictures showed the dashboard clear idling fine plenty of oil pressure. The car showed up with a blown engine. No oil pressure totally ripped off dishonest location. Engine is completely grenaded tons of metal in the oil filter. The first pic is the copart listing, the others are when I received the car.

I’ve been reading the reviews and no one seems to have had their car towed there after a wreck ? Well if I’m ever in another wreck I will be asking it not to be towed there . They stole everything out of my car that had value and I highly doubt it was the towing company . We’ve been using the same towing company for many years and they never stole anything out of the vehicle before . On the plus side everyone was very friendly inside .

Terrible service! I’m a vehicle inspector and waited for over 45 minutes for the vehicle to be brought forward. The loader weren’t busy. Went inside twice to ask about the delay and was ignored by people playing on their phones or computers. I travel around to many different Copart and IAA and have never had a delay or service like this before. They also would not allow me to drive back to the location, to inspect the vehicle. In this business time is money and the delay gets passed on to the client. As I’m writing this review I’m still waiting! Also don’t show up at 4:05pm they won’t bring the vehicle up, even though they don’t close until 5pm

Very poor people skills and will waist most of your day when you are trying to things done. They want payment immediately but after that its a snails pace to get the vehicle that is paid for 3hrs earlier

I recently purchased a car from Copart in Baton Rouge, LA. Unfortunately, during the auction, they failed to mention any issues or damages beyond the dents on the vehicle. To my dismay, the car wouldn't start the day after bringing it home. Despite attempting to jump-start it multiple times over the past month, it still refuses to start. This has left my family, including our newborn, without a car for Christmas and the winter season. It's frustrating to think that the $6000 we spent on the car went towards the personal expenses of Copart's employees instead of providing us with a reliable vehicle. I sincerely hope that Copart experiences the same frustrations and inconveniences that I have endured, not just once, but seven times. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, Copart took the liberty of removing the car from their lot without my consent, resulting in a broken windshield. Their actions demonstrate a clear lack of honesty and integrity. I strongly urge others not to support this company, as they are deceitful individuals who only prioritize their own interests. Edit It has now been over a year since this ordeal began, and while Copart spent the $6000 on their own families, I was left with nothing. The car never drove. No car or refund. Additionally, I had a baby! I had to sell the non-functional car for $2500, and Copart stole $3500. I can only hope that karma catches up to them if it hasn't already.

Never again buy a car from this location. Terrible customer service from the front desk to the manager and the regional manager. I bought car from copart baton rouge and in the listing description said runs and drive( car start and move by his own power) the car never start and could not move by its own power. Call copart baton rouge and they said they sell the car as is but of course they are lying to sell cars and I was looking for advice and every body I talk they said the sam:. Loved them!!! 💕 Bought a 2015 Honda civic last week online, scheduled my appointment @ 1 pm today and I was finished by 1:30pm with my car!!! Coparts in Baton Rouge is amazing! Also lent me their jump box to start it up. Thank you all so much! Much appreciated!!! 😁

He was supposed to come get my car like 3 days ago now. It’s aggravating because nobody seems to want to do their job. Nobody at this company seems to be any help, and is starting to affect my job and ability to travel. The person who was supposed to get my vehicle, came physically to my house to come pick up my vehicle and ultimately left to go get another vehicle and ended up ghosting me.

I went there to pick up a truck I bought was a little late for the appointment ( I live in Lake Charles two hours away ) was told I had to come back meanwhile they are racking up storage fees. The lil "heavy set" Spanish looking woman is so rude ( she needs to be away from customers) I hated to go back. The other members were * just ok* the only person that was willing to help was the lady to right she saved them from a one star🤦🏽♂️🤷🏾♂️🤦🏽♂️

This is a very below average ran copart. The office workers are in no hurry to help you. I was told 3 different times the loaders ended loading for the day: customer service by phone, office worker, and yard worker. The yard worker was the only one that gave me the correct time.

Heaven forbid you ask the front desk to do their job. They'll get upset, relay a message to the yard to drain the oil out of the car you just won and rev it till it knocks a hole through the block. Forget messaging the General Manager or calling. His email is invalid and doesn't return calls. Same with the regional manager. Horrible horrible place. I would stay clear of bidding for a vehicle that this copart has. The 3.2 star rating this establishment has matches up to my experience. Their staff is also very unknowledgeable about their own operations.

I bought a vehicle from this location, and got the shipping through Copart. Well Copart’s shipping department said there was a note that the car had engine problems which was never specified on the online listing. So I called the location, the person who I talked to had no knowledge at all about the vehicle and asked if I knew if they tried to jump start it. I didn’t know so she told me she’d give me the manager’s email since she didn’t have a phone number to contact her. I emailed the manager and I never heard back from her. Well luckily after calling Copart customer service they told me they put that there’s engine problems on the vehicles so the drivers are ready for any problem that might occur picking up the vehicle so my vehicle didn’t really have engine problems. Yet it took me between 4-5 people to find this information out. However sometime after they took the pictures of the vehicle and when it came to me somebody removed all the aftermarket lights and switches that were on the vehicle. The fender was also missing, which to find out it’s because it was completely damaged from the accident including the whole front axle but how they took the pictures you couldn’t see any of that. Get an inspection if you’re shipping a vehicle from this location and hope they don’t steal any extras that they show in the pictures!

Every time I come the woman (Ashley) and the Hispanic woman (Rocile )at the front desk always help with no hesitation and has patience no matter what the issue is . Even though it’s a stressful environment, they are always polite. .. The forklifter (Willie D )always get my cars loaded safely and efficiently and he’s always respectful no matter the time , weather or if it’s crowded. Without them I feel that place would fall to pieces and I hope they are appreciated. In my opinion they need a raise or promotion for what they have to deal with on a daily basis.

My insurance had my truck towed here for the inspection. Once they declared it totaled I did owner retention and getting copart to release the vehicle was a struggle and a half. Once I finally received the truck after several 30 min hold times on the phone with them part that were unrelated to the accident were taken off and not in my possession, there were several bumpers of other cars in the bed of my truck, several parts of the truck that had functioned before don't now including my transmission. Overall terrible service in every form of service from them. Strongly do not recommend. Would give 0 stars if that was an option

Absolutely disappointed in the managements knowledge and dedication towards customer support. You would think In a customer based business, the staff would have an understanding of what they’re paid to do. Nope, not the case with COPART. Absolutely nothing positive to say about my experience with this company. I’ve purchased 30+ cars from this company and not a single pleasant experience.

On our way there something popped off a dump truck and smashed my windshield. Once we arrive the staff was very nice and helpful although we had a lot of people waiting it took only about 45 minutes for them to pull the car to the front so we can get our personal items out of it.

Be prepared to wait 4-5 hours to get your car Copart is not worth anymore for car carrier You lose your entire fkn day here. Good to know, will never ever come back

Very long wait time. Rude employees. I went just to drop off papers for someone and waited a little over an hour while the workers stood there talking to each other, some were eating food at their desk, taking their time like there wasn't a line of people waiting. I would never go back there again for anyone else and hopefully never have to go back for myself. Very unprofessional!

After an accident my vehicle was stored at Copart. When I went to retrieve my personal belongings there was a sign at the door that directed you to not enter the building, check in online and wait to be called. I checked in and received a text message saying my wait was about 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting my status still said about a 5 minute wait. I saw several people just walk in and out so I decided to call the number on one of the signs. I was told to just come in because the lobby was empty. After staring at the young lady at a desk on the other side of the plexiglass for a few moments, she decided to come assist me. She gave me some paperwork and a safety vest and said to wait someone would come and get me. During my wait, several people came, waited and had to tap on the glass to get the same young lady to help them. She took several minutes between customers. After an hour at the location I eventually ran out of time and had to leave without retrieving my belongings. By the time I decided to give up on waiting and leave there was a line at the door. No one who came through the doors while I was there seemed please with the service they were given. Unfortunately I still have to retrieve my belongings. Tomorrow I will go back but plan on 4 hours of vacation instead of a lunch break.

Drove from Houston to pick up a vehicle was supposed to be loaded by loader. Wasn’t informed in Houston “when vehicle was paid for”,nor when I payed storage at lot when I was picking up!! The lady said they would be waiting to load me in the back. Got back there and loader said can’t load it !! call the office they give me more misinformation !! 600 miles from home no way to load, and people acting like I wasn’t even in the office !!“when I walked back inside to try and speak with the manager” So rude and unprofessional!! Atleast I was able to get help from a wrecker driver to load vehicle on my trailer! Oh I forgot to mention this all happened in the poring down rain!! The whole entrance to there facility had 3ft of standing water!! I will be taking my business to IAA !!! Couldn’t load a 3500 with a front end loader!! I watched him unload the same type of truck off a 18 wheeler not even 5 mins before I pulled into the back!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Extremely unprofessional employees. Infighting in front of customers. Not using the Kiosk as the signs instruct visitors to do. Multiple employees wandering around rather than helping folks. No social distancing. And hey the mask goes over your nose and mouth not your chin. The most unprofessional copart I have ever been too.

NO STARS. License plate & car registration were stolen from our vehicle while it was being held at this facility. It was not totaled, just being appraised. They said our plate & registration were taken from the vehicle and put into an envelope, but they have not sent us photos to prove this. I have no clue why they would need to take off the license plate from the back of the car when all of the damage from the wreck was on the FRONT bumper. There was no reason for our license plate to be removed since it wasn’t being totaled. When we had our insurance company call, they then proceeded to claim there was no envelope there and the car came to them without plates and registration! Two different stories. We also discovered everything from our glove compartment had been taken, as well as a small step ladder and tool chargers my husband used frequently for work. This confirmed that it was theft. There are also conveniently NO cameras on the lot. They have not been helpful at all and clearly didn’t care enough to keep our vehicle locked while being kept at their facility. I do NOT recommend allowing your insurance company to release your vehicle to this business!

The customer service at this location is beyond excellent. We had an issue with a wire, and corporate office was unreachable for days. The staff a this location, did everything and beyond of their capabilities to resolve the issue. We had no support from the corporate office, all the support was from this branch. Lacey, Marion, Christie and Britney were extremely helpful and dedicated in solving this issue. The corporate office should send their employees for training in customer service support and problem solution management to this location!

2500$ damage to my house from this company. 0stars. The worst service ever. This company damaged my house when picking up my car. When i informed a manager he acted like it would get fixed. Finally got a call from insurance trying to settle with only 300$ I did not accept. Extremely unsatisfied with this company its employees and management. Very bad service and customer assistance .

This place is down right ridiculous! My driver went to get a vehicle for them to tell him that the vehicle was at another location. When my driver went to that "other" location, he was told that the vehicles were at the location that he had just come from. We called in advance. This place is so disorganized; wait times on the phones exceed 20min; and they have the nerve to have poor customer service. NEVER again! If there was a way to give them "NO STARS" at all, that would be my rating!
