The manager at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. I had issues with a vehicle I purchased and was told by IAA corporate that it could take a week or two to resolve and not to worry about storage fees in the meantime. I tried to call the manager at the Lafayette location several times to explain to her that there was a misunderstanding and asked her to please reduce the now $1200 of storage fees my vehicle had. Almost impossible to get on the phone, did not return messages and when I would finally get her I would first have to give my name to the person who answered and she would always leave me on hold for at least 20 minutes before answering. She was always very rude and short on the phone telling me she didn’t care about what I had to say. I purchase all of my vehicles from IAA New Orleans and have never once had an issue with them. When I told them what had happened they said they would never charge someone those type of storage fees, especially not someone who was a loyal customer and never had a previous issue. I plan on filing a complaint with corporate and BBB. This lady has no business being a manager and should be fired for the way she treats people after some of these other reviews I have read.
This ladies are unprofessional. The manager super rud. My husband was asked to step outside because he didn’t know how to speak English. Not who who it was it looked like a big guy buy also looks like a woman. Strange! But I will report them with Corporate. One lady I spoke to who I believe it’s the manager hung up when I asked if there was a Spanish rep. Nasty place. This ladies in the office and the fat guy are very unprofessional!
The "supervisor" advised the driver to NOT to pick up the vehicle b/c the original title was not produced, however a certified form of release from my attorney had been offered as proof of ownership. When speaking to said "supervisor" she stated, "well thats just 1 paper". Obviously she's not aware of the legalities regarding this situation. When I asked to speak to someone else, she refused. When I asked her name, she d/c the call. She was rude and seemingly incompetent.
DO NOT do business with this place.
Had a bad experience picking up a vehicle. Rude employees. Parking lot sucks, full of dust. With all the high fees that you charge buyers and sellers at least pave the darn loading zone so customers don't inhale all that dust.
