My daughter was using my vehicle and got stopped by the sheriff dept and because she didn't have a printed out copy of insurance card but it's on the app in our phone they towed my vehicle.
Once I fiund out where my vehicle was I called and was told that I would have to wait unti the office opened the next day to get my vehicle and I would be charged for that day as well. So the following day I go to get my vehicle and I couldn't believe the price that I had to pay. For having my truck overnight was almost $400. That is absurd.
The lady in the office was nice and professional and it didn't take long to get my truck out. There was no damage to my vehicle from the tow truck so that was a huge relief.
The service itself was good but the price was absolutely ridiculous. They didn't have my truck 24 hours and I had to pay for 2 days. That's the price I paid for loaning out my vehicle.
We had a bad week. We had to have three flat tires changed on three different occasions and had to be towed on three different occasions. Young man who came out and assisted us was James. He did an excellent job and extremely knowledgeable. This tow service response to AAA calls very quickly. That, in Lafayette Parish, is a major plus!
On 9/22-Monday, 5:30 pm my pickup wheel bearing went out on I-10. Called D&R towing from google search and the reviews I read. I only had to wait 20 minutes or so. Operator is very professional, recommended a shop locally. The driver took me to a hotel and very professional through out the transaction. No complaints on pricing to tow my 3/4 ton diesel. Highly recommend them.
I support our local small/Large businesses in my small town of Rayne. LA and as I was thinking I didn't ask for directions unless I have a twin with exactly the same name but it's OK I tell u this if Ii needed a towing company no doubt I call local D&R Towing and support their company and u should do the same. Awesome service and experience a 10 !!!!

DO NOT USE D&R TOWING/RECOVERY - I requested a AAA tow from Legends - Bertrand on 07/17/25. D & R Towing & Recovery LLC (Call ID 539984) responded & sent a tow truck driver named James (bald guy). James thought it was ok to be inappropriate while the other (male) person with me stepped away. James asked if he was my boyfriend & followed up with “I guess I shouldn’t flirt with you then, huh?” After confirming that it was VERY inappropriate, I went to a separate vehicle to sit & stay away. He continued that behavior when he was dropping off the vehicle & the guy that was with me wasn’t around. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL, not to mention UNACCEPTABLE. A complaint has also been filed with AAA.
This is my second experience in a week. Both times were ideal standards. I really appreciate this towing company and the quality service they provide. Both drivers were very knowledgeable, patient, and polite. It's made having a broken vehicle just that much more bearable. Thanks, y'all!
I was stranded lady with no one to help me. I paid for a membership to a car roadside service and they wanted to charge me $125 for just a fee. This gentleman, with a hurt back, came to my rescue! I’m in an extreme financial situation and he helped me and my little boy when I couldn’t have rubbed two Pennies together. I a.m. forever indebted. Thank you sir !!!!
I had an outstanding experience today with D & R Towing and Recovery LLC, and I want to especially commend the professionalism and dedication of the tow truck driver, Scooby, who handled my vehicle.
From the moment he arrived, the driver was courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. He treated my son’s car with great care and took the time to ensure everything was secure and handled properly. What impressed me most was his calm demeanor and clear communication throughout the entire process. He even took the extra step of delivering the vehicle safely to the collision center and made sure the spare key was placed in the dropbox as requested.
It is rare to come across service that is not only prompt and reliable but also genuinely considerate. The driver's professionalism gave me peace of mind during a stressful situation, and I am truly grateful.

D & R Towing improperly jump started my 18 month Lexus, caused over a thousand dollars worth of damage and is denying responsibility. I have been without a vehicle for over a month. Beware of this company if you need roadside assistance.

Had a blowout on I-10. Used google maps to find the nearest tow/wrecker service. They were there within 20 minutes. Changed out my tire and sent me on my way.
We all know that tow companies take a lot of heat for what they do. They deal with people in some of the worst times in life, traffic stops, accidents, parking and so many more. I cannot say enough GOOD things about these folks. I live 5 hours away and got the opportunity to deal with them in on of these times. They were kind and compassionate over several days while we maneuvered thru the process of recovering personal belongings after a tragic accident. They took the time to take many calls and answered many questions over the phone. Rather than just say NO, they explained why they couldn’t just do what I needed to do and offered suggestions and directions to git er done! Thank you for your professionalism and compassion!
After my spare tire gave out on me on my way home from a tire shop, my OnStar sent out a tow truck which was D&R towing. The owner called me to get an exact location, and was extremely respectful and helpful through it all. I received text updates through OnStar about the process and I felt so secured. If I or a friend ever need a towing company, I will for sure recommend and use D&R!
Our minivan turned off on us on the interstate. We were traveling to Texas from Mississippi. This was the second place I called. They came pretty quickly and even dropped my family off at the hotel before heading to the mechanics. James is such a genuine guy. Couldn’t be more grateful! 10/10 recommend!
I was an hour and a half away from home. Had a blow out on side of the interstate 100 yards from the Scott exit. Called AAA. They dispatched this company. After sitting here for an hour they called to inform me they couldn’t change my tire due to safety reasons. Mind you I’m a young woman on side of the busy interstate with a horse trailer full of horses. What about my safety?

My Dad's truck was locked in park at a gas station in Scott on Good Friday. Called AAA and they dispatched D & R Towing. We were given an estimated time of 1 hour. The driver, Diamonte called immediately and was there within 30 minutes. He was very friendly and patient with my dad. He knew exactly what dealership we wanted it taken to and safely took it there. I now have D & R Towing in my phone and will ask for Diamonte. Thank you so much for being so courteous and helpful.
My car got over heated and left me on the side of the road on my sons birthday party day. DNR was very professional and did not charge me unreasonably. My car got towed back to my house and we got it to the mechanic shop. Fast forward mechanic shop didn’t want to work on someone’s previous work so had to get it towed to another mechanic shop. (In lafayette)Called DNR again and Mr James came and met me at the mechanic shop and towed it to the previous mechanic shop for me. He is very kind and nice! Anytime I need towing I will be calling DNR!! Thanks again guys!!
My wife and I were leaving a doctors appointment when we came to our car, that wouldn’t start. We called AAA they quoted an ETA of 1 hour and a half. The driver called within 10 minutes and said he would be there in 15 minutes and he was. My wife needed to get to work I was supposed to take her there after the appointment. It was alone the way to my house where the car was going. The driver had no problem dropping her to her shop. Then took me home. I thanked him for helping us and dropping my wife off then we pointed to their logo which read, “We Treat You Like Family “. And they did. Awesome!!!

Best prices around bar none! The dispatcher was very helpful, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions without having to place me on hold and refer to someone else. Our tow truck operator called me personally to let know when he was departing and to get a bit of information from me. I thought that was extremely above what I expected. He handled my car as if it were his own. Very comforting and professional. We will certainly recommend them to our friends and family.
Vehicle broke down the day after Christmas in Kinder. Roadside Assistance sent D&R Towing. Garrick was great. He took his time, secured, and loaded the car on the towtruck. Towed it to Dry Creek, where he unloaded it with the same care and attention. I asked for a way to leave a good review and his assistant gave us his card. Great business. Great people. I run a small automotive shop in Scott. On the day I met Dwayne, the owner, he noticed my family suburban stuck to the axle in mud on my property while he was on his way home from work. He stopped and without question, introduced himself and pulled my Suburban out of the mud on his off time, on a Friday in his personal truck and charged me nothing for his time. From calling dispatch to dropping my vehicle off, this was one of my best experiences when being towed. Brandon was very polite, courteous and quick. I only waited a few minutes from the time I called to the time D&R showed up. Overall a great experience with this company.
