Driver picked up my car at 9:30 AM to bring to Giles in Lafayette Louisiana 339 is the time right now and my vehicle has not made it to Giles yet. This is my first time ever having to use a towing company. This was the worst experience I have ever experienced. The people kept lying saying they would be there within the next 30 to 45 minutes. I don’t know. Maybe they got some kind of special watch that don’t work avoid this company at all cost . Hell, I could’ve pushed my car there faster.
Unfortunately, this is my second time going through Cliff’s with my insurance company assigning them to me and they take a very long time. Last time I waited about 3 hours and this time, I waited 4.5 hours. The drivers are always nice once they get here. But man, it’s a miserable wait.
Tow truck was supposed to be here for 3pm, then it was 4:18, then it was 6:30, and finally we realized the dispatcher cancelled the tow claiming insurance cancelled. After calling to confirm so with the insurance company, we were informed they did not cancel the tow. The dispatcher canceled and proceeded to lie to us. We look off of work to insure we’d be available all for a now cancelled tow. If I could give a zero star review, hands down would. Absolute worst business to deal with!
The entire team is amazing! I've learned they are a 3rd generation local company and the 4th generation was helping the day they picked up a piece of heavy equipment for me. Top-notch and I highly recommend.
I want to commend Tow Truck Driver, Leone Butte (sp?) for his help in his tow service yesterday, Monday, May 18th, late aftn. Professional and informative about my car troubles. He would be a Driver I would request in the future if allowed.
Very disappointing experience. The truck was handled carelessly, parts were removed without permission, and additional damage appeared after the service. Communication was terrible from start to finish — nobody wanted to listen or provide clear answers. Instead of helping solve the issue, they created even more problems. Completely unprofessional behavior. Doing stupid thing as always they do overcharge stupid guys
Whether you got your combine stuck in a ditch in the middle of harvest season or your truck broke down on your farm down a Crawfish Pond road in the pouring rain, they can get it done! And in little to no time!

I had the unfortunate need to have my vehicle towed but the shining star in this story was Cliff’s Towing. I highly recommend this company. My driver, Tristian, was professional, prompt, friendly, and beyond helpful. No one ever wants to need a wrecker, but I won’t hesitate to call Cliff’s if I am in that type of situation again!
I originally did not have a great experience about a year ago. I have older cars and today my insurance company had Cliff’s Towing provide my service needs when my husband had a breakdown. My one star is now a five. Our tow technician, Curtis was informative and polite. He arrived about under 40 min. My new takeaway is to check your assigned tow company’s location site before you set any realistic expectations.
Curtis is so amazing . Every time I call a tow they take hours but Curtis, he came in 10 mins like literally right when he got the call, he came.. he’s amazing!! Thank u Curtis he came all the way from Scott good job Curtis.. the best!!
Had the best experience with Cliffs towing this morning! Curtis came and went over and beyond to tow my vehicle to the dealership and even let me know when it made it there! He has the sweetest spirit and personality and was very knowledgeable!! Service was quick and efficient! Highly recommend Curtis and Cliffs towing and I will be using them again when needed!

Cliffs was called to tow one of my vehicles. The driver did great. We were concerned with the wheel and he told us he wouldn't have drove it either. Professional and curtious.
Great experience. Didn't know all Curtis needed was a picture of my Driver's license and a signature. Curtis dropped off my car to it's destination (mechanic shop) left the key in the drop box and sent me a picture and text that all was done. Very prompt service! Curtis called me when he was on the way to my vehicle, explained the process and sent me a photo of the vehicle once delivered to the auto shop. Curtis was very professional and courteous. Would definitely use Cliff's in the future.

What the hell?! Called AAA who sent Curtis. Lovely bloke, got the car up and donut spare on easy as.
I am not one to give a “bad review “ but this needs to be heard. I had a minor mechanical issue with my suv so I made a warranty claim and the roadside assistance dispatched cliffs towing to pick up my suv. They arrived, were nice , started pulling my suv up onto the bed of the truck. When the suv was almost in place, the winch gave out, totally understandable equipment fails I get that. My suv then rolls off the truck, hits the side of my house causing damage to both my suv and home. The way the situation was handled is the messed up part. I had called the sheriff’s department to make a statement for insurance purposes and thank god o did or I would have been screwed! There was a 2nd driver that showed up before officer and insisted the report was not necessary, I said well o feel it is and they are already on the way. He tells me you just file it through your insurance and we reimburse your insurance. Me not knowing any better, filed a claim. The next morning my agent called me and recommended I not do it this way because I’d have to pay my deductible for the car, I’d have to file a homeowners claim for my house and pay the deductible for that as well and I’d be out of pocket for any overages for the rental. I called Cliffs to get insurance information, got every excuse they had. My insurance agent called and got the same run around. I had to have a lawyer get involved to just get insurance information from them to get my suv fixed! They are very unprofessional and highly not recommend!
Jonathan was the gentleman who serviced the call to tow my car. Words aren’t enough to express how polite and friendly Jonathan was. He arrived in a timely manner and well within the estimated arrival time given to me by my roadside assistance. People like Jonathan are what make non-ideal situations a little more easy to accept. Thank you for your hard work.
