We have taken all of our vehicles to Daugherty's for both body repair and regular service. I have always found their pricing to be transparent and fair. They provide options about repairs that may be needed. We feel like valued customers and would recommend them.
We’ve been a customer here for 2 years now and have never been disappointed. They are reasonably priced, fast, honest, and the owner is awesome. One week before Christmas we dropped our van off (Thursday) and it was ready for pickup on Friday morning. We however, did not know they closed at 12 on Fridays. We had a ton of traveling to do over Christmas weekend with our 3 kids and really needed our van back. After reaching out via email, Paul, agreed to meet us early Saturday morning at the shop. When we pulled in he even had it warmed up and defrosted for the drive home. Such a sweet and kind man. He didn’t have to respond to my email, and he certainly didn’t have to come in on his off day. We just wanted to share what a blessing it was. His kindness saved our family from a ton of stress during an already stressful time of year. Thank you again!!

I didn’t get any work done from this shop because my car was a total loss. However, the staff has been so kind and helpful that I would absolutely use and recommend them to anyone in need for service.
I had a great experience with both the body shop and the service shop. Clint walked me through the whole process and him and Joe were very patient with my many concerns and questions as well as checking in. They were easy to work with and so kind! The craftsmanship of the work was top tier. I live in Louisville but will absolutely use them in the future should I need to again!
I'm fairly new to Taylorsville, moving here from another state. I was having car issues and needed to find a mechanic and found Dougherty's. They had my car repaired within a day. I highly recommend Daugherty's, and going forward, It will be the place where I take my car for repairs and maintenance.

I'll preface this by saying I'm normally very apprehensive about any auto shops that I don't have personal connection to. People like to jip out women who don't know that much about cars.
Had my car hit and sent it here to get repaired. Clint and his team were absolutely amazing. Had my car fixed quickly and stayed back to make sure I could get my car after work. I had a super small issue when my (replacement) mirror didn't move properly and Clint stayed back and quickly fixed it, even though they were technically closed.
Very kind and informative people, kept me informed and even had pictures to show me exactly what was going on. They made this whole experience much better than it could have been and I wasn't even stuck in the rental for a week. Would recommend to everyone!
Daugherty's took care of our Jeep Renegade recently with timely and effective service. John is easy to talk to and honest to boot. No confusing explanation or unnecessary upsells. I'd recommend them to anyone for auto repair in the Spencer County area and beyond.
On their website it tells you no appointment necessary for an estimate walk ins welcome. I drove 30 minutes to get there to get an estimate and was told estimate only by appointments and our next appointment is next Thursday. I was told this was because of covid. I asked well why don't you update your website and literally got no response. The women was very unhelpful at the front counter. I'm glad I didn't do business with this company and only wasted an hour of my day. Covid is over people update your website so people know you that walk in are not welcome.
Have used Daugherty's over the past 15 plus years and this business is one of the most honest and reliable businesses in the state. Every body/service shop in the country could learn a thing or two from these folks.
Each time I have used Daugherty's has been smooth. I was given an estimate and had the work don in a timely and professional manner. No up charging or finding addition cost above my estimate. Would recommend this shop to anyone in need of a HONEST and REPUTIBLE body shop!!

They are thorough and honest and give you a price from the beginning.
I've no issues and whenever I need something right away, they jump on it or try.
I've also had to have body work done after hitting a deer, they had it done in a timely manor and helped with the rental car process..
Made my experience so easy.
Great people and great service. Fixed the front bumper on my Challenger in no time. Looks better than new. Made everything simple and did all the insurance stuff for me. Thanks guys!
ABOLUTELY the best body shop! All the staff are wonderful. They take time with your estimate and answer any questions you may have regarding the type of service you need. They work with your insurance company and are cordial, polite and courteous. The work completed is professional and perfect. Just like showroom new. Highly recommend them for body work. AND for other service needs as well.
Came here after feeling like a local Honda dealer was recommending unnecessary services and overbearing repairs. Took my car straight here after the dealer told me their thoughts and I found out I was right. This shop is a breath of fresh air and worked with me honestly and professionally. I haven't had this great of an experience with a mechanic shop in a number of years. I will be back without a doubt!

I was rear ended by a young man with State Farm Insurance. I had planned to use a local body shop but State Farm asked me to use one of their approved shops . Daugherty’s was close so I made an appointment to get the estimate. I was greeted professionally and the estimate only took a few minutes. They called after getting the estimate approved by State Farm and gave me a date to drop the vehicle off. The work was done on time and looked great. Very good and professional shop. I would definitely recommend Daugherty’s.
I had work done on my car through insurance, entire front driver's side was damaged. While it was there they also fixed an engine issue (that other shops hadn't been able to figure out) and replaced an A/C compressor.
I couldn't be happier with the work they did on my car, it looks amazing and runs great.
The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely professional. The prices were fair for the level of work done and was certainly less expensive than going through a dealership.
Highly recommend, will absolutely use them again in the future.
