Said they had a part for me for 3 weeks then give us a bad part now we are waiting for over another week for a replacement steer clear you will be lied to from Derrick there manager even there drivers says he is there problem now we’re out over 700 and have not received a good part
Still waiting on a call from the owner over a week later obviously they don’t care about who they screw over terrible service and even worse parts good luck
I called ahead twice inquiring about parts off of a vehicle they repeatedly claimed was still together and fully assembled. When I drove over an hour to the yard and arrived the same day I had initially checked with them, the front of the car was cutoff and all the parts I needed were ruined. This business is poorly run and disorganized.
I went there thinking they had a part for my 91 ford ranger after they said they had the part to a friend that owns a repair shop but all they had was 96 and newer models but they were very helpful in giving me a few numbers to other parts suppliers that had the parts and there super helpful and friendly
Bought an engine for a vehicle here the other day and they were very helpful! They even worked with me on the price to make sure I left with everything I needed to fix my car! I will leave an updated review once the engine is installed and I can actually review the item I purchased.
Sold me two bad transmissions and told me the part is only good for 3o days now I have to buy another transmission at a better auto shop I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy any transmissions I paid $400 for the first one my car only ran for about a few good months and stopped I bought a second transmission my car don’t even go in drive what a waste of money and time

I've used lewis' a lot over the years and they always come through. I broke a window in my vehicle on the job today. Called at 2:30 really needing the glass and they got it pulled and ready for me by closing at a good price.
Worst junk yard I’ve ever been too, the guys working there claim they don’t have anything but the website they “update” says different. And 75$ for a steel rim… can get them brand new for 80$ place is absolute joke of a business wouldn’t send ANYONE there
I don’t care what anybody says about this place, great prices etc. needs some body parts with a section of a frame etc. they chopped the whole back of the donor car off and gave it to me lol. EXACTLY what I needed PLUS some, thanks guys! Saved me over 1000 dollars possibly more. AND it was the same color as mine, perfect!
Bought an engine from these guys. It was here early, was exactly what they said it was and is running perfect. I will definitely do business with them again.
Told me they would have my part ready for me the same day. I called 30 minutes before closing to see if they had my part ready he said that they were pulling it and he would call me back in a few minutes and have it ready . Never called me back and they closed already when I called back again. I already paid for it. This was on a Friday and now I have to wait until Monday … horrible customer service and business management.
Called and spoke with Steven. He checked to make sure the body parts were not damaged. Called to let me know they were ready and drove down to pick them up. Looked great thanks!
Purchased transmission from Lewis and had a shop tell me it was bad. They refused to take it back and said it was good and that I must have damaged it. Had to pay $800 to get it rebuilt and put in. Will never go here again and tell everyone I know to stay away! Not my first bad experience. Have called for other parts before, drove from another town only for it to not be there. They don’t keep great inventory and prices aren’t the best either.
Had a great experience with Lewis auto parts, very professional.. just all around good group of guys.. I had a problem with the original buy and they made it right with no hassle.. I was very impressed with their professionalism. I will definitely do business with them again.. and highly recommend
Called and they said pay today and they'll have the part pulled tomorrow. Called the next day at 1pm they said it would be ready at 3pm. Got there, driving 30 minutes, and hadn't even started pulling yet. 4:30 I got my part. Really disorganized. And price was not as quoted. Part was $45 plus tax, they quoted $47 something and charged my card $53 even. Hummm. Also while there 3 people brought back wrong parts. Nowhere to park. Have to turn 500ft from the garage and park in the road.
My father asked me to check out the parts in person that he was looking for as he lives out of state. After driving to Georgetown, none of the parts we had told were there were available. Also, I was informed that employees could be fired for making workers comp claims as I felt unstable walking through their stoned yard. I would not take my business here as the higher ups have no care for their employees.
Wish I could give it a better rating. The guy running the front of the business is courteous and helpful enough. The salvage crew however are neither of those things. Good help is hard to come by I guess.
My particular out of production part had already been pulled/sold. BUT, he was able to tell me that inside of two minutes via his computer / inventory log. Courteous too.
