If you haven’t been there since the county took it over it’s totally a different operation than when Morgan’s had it. It fast, professional and efficient! The work release inmates unload you so you don’t even have to get out of your vehicle. They have fixed the scale area to where the garbage truck guys don’t lolly gag all day and hold up the line also. Shout out to the county for fixing this disaster!
We just dropped off a truckload of stuff, and the elderly lady was nothing but sweet and helpful. Not sure who the rude lady was mentioned in other reviews, but with our experience it wasn’t her.
Older lady working the window was very hostile and rude. At 11:10am I pulled into the dump site (it closes at 12 according to website) and slowly drove past the trailer not knowing where to go. It was then I kept hearing someone yelling. The elderly lady in the window of the trailer kept screaming at me to hurry it up and said I had 10 min. Being it was my first time at this dump I didn’t know where to go so I asked her…with a very rude response she said “go over there and dump your stuff.. hurry it up you have 10 min” and slammed the window shut shaking her head.
I would rather get a littering fine than ever use their service again. The lady at the office is as unprofessional as it gets. We were unloading two couches and a couple of chairs, and she tried to charge half ton worth of weight because “we don’t weigh that kind of stuff”. Whatever that means is beyond me. Also the hours online don’t match what is posted. Which led to another obscenely rude remark by her. This isn’t the first time we’ve had to deal with her, but it will be the last.
Everything has always went very well when ive went there. I have never met the ride lasy wveryone is talking about i have had many good wxperienves there.
The lady there was so rude, she had quit early and decided they wasn’t open till 4 but 3:30 however it was 3:28 and she was done in her truck leaving. I understand her son owns the company but I will haul my junk to the next county just to avoid such a hateful person. If it was possible to get someone else to pick my trash up I would. I’ve never been talked to with such disrespect by anyone let alone a little old lady.
The recycle was a little hard to find behind Stephens Pipe, only open 7 AM-3:30 PM. They really need to have recycle pickup on trash days like most cities.
