Been today was a trash day and the worst trash service I’ve ever had some weeks they pick it up the next couple of weeks you have to call and tell them that they haven’t got your trash and they missed three of us And I miss three of us so I guess I have to call tomorrow and tell him I need my trash picked up

They have consistently fail to pickup our trash even though we didn't owe a cent and it wasn't a holiday week. Each time they will say sorry and we will credit you back and the trash stays for the following week we had to cancel them.

We had a few missed pickups when we first moved in last summer, but once they realized we were living here, there were no further problems. They always returned to empty our cans when this did happen in a timely manner. There were no problems either with their picking up moving boxes, rugs, and larger pieces of furniture, that were damaged during the move. We followed the guidelines concerning the proper way of handling these larger items, and they always picked them up.

The Rumpke driver on our route is extremely kind and has even helped my wife bring our bin to his truck when my wife and I were both injured and could not do it ourselves. It demonstrates the type of employees that Rumpke hires. Kudos to Rumpke.

Super effective and efficient recycling operation. I've never seen better, and I've lived just about everywhere. It's easy to tell that Rumpke is serious about what they're doing. And the pickup on my street has always been extremely well done.

Only pick my garbage up the next week after I call and remind them. Also don't like to compensate for the charge so they don't pick my garbage up but still take my money. Not to mention I have called every week for the past 2 months and it still continues to happen. If anyone from rumpke reads this please tell me how to help you do your job cause if I did this where I worked I would not have a job anymore.

Rumpke essentially has a monopoly in our area which might make you think they would take the customer for granted and maybe deliver lousy service, but with Rumpke this is definitely not the case! They are customer friendly and efficient with the service. They are a great service provider that I very much appreciate.

Rumpke does a great job picking up household waste and recycling in our neighborhood. The drivers we have had are always courteous and offer suggestions for handling our waste products.

Rumpke Waste & Recycling service is exceptional, only change of pickup day is holidays and customer is notified well in advance about any change of service, thank you kindly

Horrible! Missed our stop, told us they would be out the next day. It has been 4 days and no-one has been out. Worst company ever!!!! Trash just keeps adding up! Raccoons getting into it daily and WE HAVE TO CLEAN IT UP! Terrible service!!! Call us back RUMPKE! **Update on my review! Customer service stated to me there was nothing they could do other than credit me for the week they missed. They had zero employees. Imagine that! I have raccoons getting into my trash daily and this terrible person on the phone could care less. She stated it was my job to clean up my trash. She stated oh well to me several times. What has happened to customer service. We pay for our service. Her name was Tiffany. Spoke with Michelle a customer service rep. She stated she could do nothing more. Horrible customer service. Florence needs a better service. ****

This driver went out of his way to take a few non recyclable items out of the recycling bin to put them in the correct can. He didn’t have to get out of his truck to do that. A few filled up Walmart bags full of garage also we’re around the cans and he did not hesitate once to get out and clean up my neighbors mess for our community! Easy to unload, with recessed dumpsters. If just pickup load you can back to garbage truck, they even help you inload. Set up really nice. Wish it was twice a month instead of just one day a month. Hours are 7-11, 2nd Saturday of month, free dump day.

Service was always good. However, included in my fees was a 'cart rental'. I asked early on if I could buy the cart, which I could, but then was told they wouldn't replace it for free, so I rented. After 5 years of use I wanted a replacement cart. I was told they don't replace carts unless they are unusable. Should I have took an axe to it and then called? I guess they would rather lose a customer than replace a cart I'm already paying to rent. Goodbye

I just moved to the Florence, KY area. My recycling is supposed to be picked up Friday's. I have called several times advising them it hasn't been picked up and everyy time I get the same answer "They have until 1800 to pick up the recycling and they will send out a message to the drivers." I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on my street who does the recycling, it's just ridiculous it's taken this long after several phone calls. I will be cancelling the recycling service because it's honestly ridiculous how they are handling this.

Had to call the company frequently because my trash was never picked up. According to customer service it was always “a new driver” so evidently they must not be able to keep employees either. My trash has been missed at least 5 weeks since the beginning of the year. I then had to then take my trash to the landfill and pay to dispose of it because my can was full. I would not recommend anyone to switch to Rumpke, unless you enjoy paying for a service that you don’t get.

With the bad weather we had on Tuesday. Garbage wasn't picked up and read on FB that it should be on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and we assumed Rumpke still had not been able to get to us as several of our neighbors still had their cans out. This morning I checked the neighbors cans and they were empty, they just hadn't brought them in. I contacted Rumpke via FB advised the situation that we had been missed. Rumpke replied quickly and apoligized and will be sending someone out to pick up the missed can. Way to go!! Thanks

We had our service in Harrison County switched to Rumpke this year . Their service is terrible ! I pay my bill which by the way is higher than the service we had before which were great no problems with them at all . I have had to call every single week after pick up day because they leave trash in my cans ! They never pick all the trash up only what is in the front two cans . First they said I had water in my can which I did not the first time they left trash but after leaving the sanme bag in can for three weeks to rot it had some water from rain . So I made sure the cans were free of water and placed the lids on the cans . Which they in turn threw in the road and on the ground cracked my lid as well . I call they say they will let supervisor know and his name is TJ which he does absolutely nothing ! Same thing we will pick it up within 48 hours but they never do it sits there until next pick up day and they still do not take all of it! I am absolutely livid ! Also their drivers sit on the side of the road for over an hour on their phones . I have taken pictures of everything and documented every week they leave trash in my cans . This is ridiculous! I am calling our county to see what needs to be done to get your contract cancelled in Harrison county ! Absolutely worthless service ! I will not stop until someone does their job!

Drivers are nice and do a great job of not leaving any remaining trash. Also seem to replace the trash receptacles upright every time which we didn’t see with our previous trash removal system. Arranging a heavy item to be picked up can be accomplished easily online.

I rent a property in Elsmere the trash must be in the property owners name. I have been added as someone that can get the balance and request additional cans since I pay the bill. Sometimes it's a big deal with the representatives which makes it an unpleasant experience. My most recent experience my trash was not picked up along with several neighbors. Since our trash pick up is friday and Rumke is closed for the weekends I had no way to find out what happened. So all weekend trash say on the curb with additional trash being added to it. Same with the neighbors. Raccoons tore trash out all over. I sent a Facebook message, monday I recieved a response and my trash was picked up late morning same day. I was very grateful to customer service. I have mostly had issues with the driver on my route.

Rumpke has been very reliable and has excellent email communication skills and friendly customer service. I would like to see recycling services in my neighborhood (right behind CCHS). Thank you for your commitment to the community. jm

Absolutely the greediest, most dysfunctional business you'll ever deal with! There are much better options out there at more reasonable rates around the Florence area, with much better customer service! Dropped them like a rock, their trash cans are still in front of my garage a month later, waiting on some of those losers to pick them up! Run, don't walk as fast as you can!

Going on my third week of not receiving my trash can. Dispatched said they tried to call of course no record of that on my phone. Worst trash service I’ve dealt with. Wish City of Independence would give us some competition for trash service. Last address got charged for two months of service when I didn’t even live at the residence yet. Hopefully the city will allow for BestWay to bid in our area. Never had trouble with their service before I moved to Independence. Also since I’m on an automation route I can’t put out my trash bags. So I guess since trash comes tomorrow it will be another week.

I received today (Thursday the 22nd) an email at 6:40 AM to let me know that the service will be done on Thanksgiving. The problem it’s that they passed at 5:30 AM instead of 8:00 AM... So, your email at 6:40 AM was very usefulness... Hopefully next time you will be more professional.

I wanted to say thank you to your rumpke drivers around Pendleton County on highway 27. They have been patient with us doing road work and nice to all of us flaggers and crew. They're always driving slow when they need to be and always paying attention and waving. It's always a joy knowing there is a good group of people who try to keep us workers safe by paying attention to our directions.

Hello, I just had to say thank you to your wonderful drivers!! My son lives for every Tuesday and Friday. We can't leave until the trash man comes. He runs out and helps him with our whole cul-de-sacs trash. We have had a few different trash men but everyone of them let's my 4 year old help and talks with him Everytime. My son even wears his trash truck shirt those days and dressed up as a trash truck last Halloween. There sweet gestures and time taken to let him help have only fueled his love for garbage trucks. I just wanted to say thank you.

Trash is not being picked up on scheduled days. Talk to call center people when you call them, they have no idea whats going on. Route Supervisors have a difficult time calling customers back. Getting real tired of having to call every week that my garbage is not being picked up. About to the point of dropping the can off at your office door, and charging you for my time of delivering it. UPDATE: Route supervisor finally got back to me, found out that they were phasing out pup routes, and putting a full size truck in our area. From what I was told route list was not properly given to drivers, thus our pick up was being missed. The supervisor gave us a discount of service to be nice, and was sorry about the mix up. Been three weeks now, and no problems. Thank you for fixing this issue. Supervisor was very professional, and courteous. Raised star review for the better customer service.

I have been trying to get my trash container repaired or replaced now for 2 weeks...(the trash pickup people broke it to begin with) I have done everything they have requested. The customer service people are nice, but I have been given several different directions of action from them. No consistency in direction. I have been sweet and polite, but they remain absolutely unhelpful.
