Awesome, quiet, beautiful location away from the world to observe Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day (Leviticus 23: 33-44).

We just spent three nights there and had a wonderful stay. They were very friendly and helpful. The front desk ladies were exceptionally pleasant. The cabin was spotless and the beds were so comfortable. Will definitely be back soon

Stayed here for 2 nights,nice rentals,very accommodating marina,located off Kentucky Lake.there is a swimming pool, playground a restaurant on the grounds.

My family's have been going to Morris Resort and Marina since 2015. We have always enjoyed our men's fishing trip to Morris. Every other year since 2015 me my son, my uncles, and male cousins and friends, from AL, IN and MI will come together at Morris for 1 week to fish and reconnect with each other and have a awesome time. NICE place and good staff.

You cant go wrong with Moors! Being able to walk to everything you need is very nice. Cant wait to go back! maybe a Coffee shop would be nice tho....?

We booked a last minute cancelation on room in lodge . On Memorial day weekend. Staff was friendly, lodge was clean and basic but didnt spend alot of time in room so worked out perfect. Super nice place. Only negative we had was at Restaurant was under staffed so service was slow and food was cold.

We stayed one night in the lodge before moving into one of the houses. The lodge was very loud with the event room being in there and kids running through yelling. Once we moved into the house we discovered the toilet was leaking, but the maintenance was wonderful. We informed the office the next morning and when we got back that evening we had a whole new toilet. The slips at the marina are well maintained and all the staff were very friendly and polite. Overall, I would highly recommend this place but would pick a house over the lodge any day.

We had a great trip. Our cabin was clean and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a couples boat trip on Kentucky Lake. The rooms were ok...nothing fancy but we hardly spend any time at all in the room anyway and they were affordable! However, the service was top notch! Always very accommodating at the marina and restaurant in comparison to any other place we've stayed in the area! Just be sure to collect all your belongings...I left my titanium straightener in the bathroom drawer and called right away so that I could pick it up this weekend but they said they don't have it.

We’ve been coming to Moors for years. Our favorite vacation spot, especially for fishing. We were quite surprised that they no longer serve breakfast. Mom’s are on vacation too. And as we were checking out, I saw at least 15 people coming in to eat. A buffet would be perfect. Please reconsider your decision. Than you, and we like the other improvements you’ve made

We visited More’s Resort in Kentucky for a family reunion, and it was a special experience. My husband’s family has been coming here for about 20 years and looks forward to it every year. This was my first time joining them as a newlywed, and I can see why they love it so much. We stayed in one of the cabins for two nights, and it was cozy and comfortable—especially the beds! I did hear some family members mention issues with heating and cooling in their cabins, but it sounded like the staff was quick to respond and got things working again. The resort is about 10 minutes from a Dollar General and around 20 minutes from a Walmart, so it’s a bit out there, but still manageable. There aren’t a lot of restaurants nearby, but there is one on-site at the resort. We didn’t get a chance to try it this year, but we’re looking forward to checking it out next time. There was a little hiccup with the family not having a reserved common area for the reunion meal, which caused some stress. Thankfully, a generous local church allowed us to use their space, and everything worked out in the end. The resort has some nice little extras, too—with ice cream, snacks, souvenirs (like t-shirts), and small medical items like Tylenol, cough drops, and more. They also have a small putt-putt course, though we didn’t try it this year. We did enjoy the pool—it’s an average size with a max depth of 7 feet and was perfect for relaxing in the sun. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful setting makes it a wonderful place for families to gather, reconnect, and stay close together. The staff was friendly, and the resort seemed well-staffed overall. Looking forward to many more years of memories here with the family!

We have been coming here for years. We love it. Only issue we have had for the last 2 times are the outside decks and stairs leading into our cabin. They need attention. Other than that, we love spending our family vacations here.. Love the proximity of the lake, pool, miniature golf, playground, and places to just run around and play for our grandchildren. There is a resturant on site. The staff are always eager to assist and take a minute to interact with us...

We stayed in “cabin 25” it was remodeled in 2023 with new cabinets, countertops and floors however, the toilets and the tub/shower were the same age as when the “cabin” was placed. The toilets were small, as were the tub/shower. The beds were platform beds that if you like a hard bed will suit you just fine. If you like a soft bed I would suggest bringing a mattress pad. One bedroom had no air conditioning so if it’s super hot you will be SOL. We were there for a family reunion, and thought we would try something new. The rest of the family had actually cabins or condos and seemed happy. We were expecting something a little nicer, that had nicer bathroom and didn’t have ants on the counter every morning. We will not be back.

We have stayed multiple times over the years but will never be back. We spent over 2400.00 on a 3 bedroom cabin. After 2 days our daughter bought a puppy she found, and when we talked to the office about paying a pet fee they said our cabin wasn't pet approved and had nothing we could all move into. So she had to spend another 1300.00 to get a 1 bedroom cabin that smelled like a weed farm when we walked in. The worst part was the staff kept watching our cabin trying to catch her bringing the puppy in there. We would find them sitting by the back of the cabin and coming by constantly on golf carts. So from now on we will definitely find a better and more affordable place to stay.

They charged for damage of a golf cart as if we hit something. We did not hit anything I am honest persons and would admit if we had Ask for proof with a picture they said they had and never received. We have been there 10 times in the past 4 years and will never go back. Along with all the people we have recommend people to stay there. Seems to be a pattern that they don’t every produce the photos and take your money Family reunion canceled Not that they care.

We've been staying at The Moors for a week each year since 2016. It's a beautiful place and WAS a convenient place to go fishing. However, please read below, we won't be back. They've lost a 9 year repeat guest. I'm done.

Overall Moors Resort and Marina was a very nice stay, and I would recommend it to someone else. I stayed in Towne House #1 for 3 nights. #1 was part of 4plex of Lake Front cabins. the water was just a few yards away very quiet for a multiple cabin complex If you're planning on coming to Kentucky lake check out the Moors first you won't be disappointed

Staff was very friendly. Nice selection of everything, including drinks, food, ice cream, basic fishing and boat supplies, as well as merchandise. They have some of the nicest docks for boats. Very plentiful. Also have 4 fuel pumps including 87 & Rec90 (non-ethanol) gas.

The rooms were clean. HVAC control was good. Bed was comfortable. My only suggestion is to add a few conveniences like a small supply of coffee, a roll of paper towels, and a few hangers in the closet. I was hoping to eat at their restaurant during my Monday thru Wednesday stay and was disappointed it was closed. I was told it would open Thursday, the day I left, unfortunately. I think they should have mentioned that on their website. But, all in all, I would stay there again.

We LOVE Moors Resort!!! We have stayed in the Lodge and we have stayed in there cottages, this place is the BEST place to just have a get away or a family function!!! They have the best employees all they way around!!! They made sure we had everything we needed. The office manager and the girls in the office are so sweet, helpful and just all around great people ❤️! Our cottage was super clean!!! Housekeepers are super awesome too!! If you haven't been to Moors Resort YOU MUST GO! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! We already booked our cabin for next year Dec 19th thru 21st, can't wait ?, Definitely a 5 star ?

Nice lodge, no frills. Basic room, nothing fancy. No elevator in lodge, so be prepared for stairs. Room was comfortable, beds and pillows were comfortable. Wish there was a small table in room. Only bed and chair that goes with a table. Stayed during off season so restaurant or other stuff were closed.

The resort is an awesome place to come to boat, camp, start a camp fire, and have a great time with family and friends. The cottages and the lodge are kept clean and orderly. The restaurant has a great selection of food and the service is outstanding, and the cook(s) are great. The prices are high, but inflation has wrecked every city and town across the nation. That aside, there is a problem in the older cottages. Cottage 1,2,3,4 are older and are in need of mold removal and the floors have soft spots, maybe from previous flooding? ||The owners attempted to cover up the problem with new flooring, however although hidden from sight, the mold under the floors is obvious to the nose. The musty stench is overwhelming. ||The internet service to the cabins is poor and it could be augmented easily with additional wifi hotspots in a few of the most distant cabins as they all have cable TV to the cottages and that cable TV would provide a direct connection to install additional hotspots for wifi. ||The people that work for the resort seem very kind and helpful. Speaking with people that have been coming to the resort for decades are very happy with the facility and the location and have a love for the resort. Our stay although had some problems was satisfactory and worth a return visit, ONLY in different cottages.

Rome was clean. Beds were nice. You’d have to be perfect for a five star. Staff was pleasant and always offering their assistance. The location was fine. 5 miles off a main road. Makes it four stars. I would definitely recommend it and will go back there again. Marina was well staffed. Ralph’s restaurant had a nice selection. I ate there three times and enjoyed it ,

We had the absolute best weekend! We loved our cottage (#11). I feel the beach access area could've been cleaner but it was still great! The swimming pool was absolutely wonderful! So nice and clean. Oh, and the water was perfect!! It wasn't freezing cold. Just perfect! Will be our place to stay from now on! My daughter was not happy the television didn't work (their service was out or something because the guys couldn't fix it) but they said it should be working next time.

Had my mother in laws birthday get together at the restaurant and spent the day at the lake with the family. The owners snapped some beautiful pictures of my wife on the lake in her kayak. They were kind enough to come up to us and get the pictures sent to us as well as ask how our stay was going. I will definitely be coming back, the atmosphere at this place is wonderful and just amazing not to mention the place is absolutely beautiful. I stayed at the lodge for the weekend. The rooms are what you would expect. They were clean, beds were comfortable, and the cleaning ladies, especially Debbie were exceptionally helpful and nice. They would get a 5 star review! However I would not suggest the restaurant Ralph’s or this campground in general. The restaurant is nothing but a bar. It’s loud, poor service for food, food was not good and nothing but intoxicated people. They catered to the people drinking rather than us individuals who just wanted to eat. This is not a family friendly place. I would never bring my kids to this resort as there is so much alcohol around. And what’s sad is there are 16 year old kids working there around it. Furthermore lots of partying going on at night all around us. I grew up on the lake and campgrounds. This was my 1st time at Moors. There was a reason we didn’t camp here.

I’m responding to the negative reviews about the food being bad at Ralph’s restaurant at the Moor’s. My food was excellent and cooked perfect. Everyone around me at other tables seemed to be happy with their food. I didn’t see anyone complaining to the waitress. My server was Jessica or Jennifer. I can’t remember what the ticket said. Folks need to know that these resort places only busy during summer months. Usually kids working summer jobs. Some reviews are years old. Whoever cooked their food probably isn’t even there anymore. I sat outside and all through the resort you could see employees with their red “Crew” shirts working. The place is very well maintained. One guy just swept up loose gravels on the roads.
