Almost 400 for 1 night of sitting is RIDICULOUS, and then I get to my car only to find some of my rent money had been stolen out of the top compartment in my car. Guy kept saying he seen all the money there but didn't touch it but also doesn't know why it's not all there I'll never use this place again and I hope no one else does either!
LET ME ADD- police knew about the money before I was arrested, they knew it was FOR MY RENT, it's all on camera. And then I pick my car up for the money to be gone? I filed a report and it's being looked into as well as body cameras being viewed. The one that picked my car up couldn't keep his story straight. First he said what money, they he said he seen the money but didn't touch it, then he said it might of fell between the seats. How lol? With all my windows ROLLED UP AND MY COMPARTMENT CLOSED. Make it make sense. Y'all have sooo many comments about y'all stealing stuff then trying to cover it up. Other people WILL come forward once they find something on y'all. I hope you get shut down
Worst wrecker service in Richmond. Will steal out of your vehicle. Got pulled over and my Escalade got towed and the guy that's towed it at 11pm last night stole $240 cash out of my car
They over charge and it depends on who you talk to for the price they give you. Things tend to go missing out of your vehicle to if it gets towed and it's not locked up. Then trying to have a common sense conversation is well, impossible. Simple things that you may want to ask will get you verbally thrashed and then hung up on. I can't imagine how a business can continue with the customer service being so horrible. Other then they have made a Killin on basically high jacking people's belongings and making it impossible to get you vehicle back from an 8 hour tow. It had been a little over 8 hours and they towed it three blocks n wanted 310$ that was one price then another gave me a tow bill of 125$ pluses 35 hook up fee?? Then 55 $ a day . Huh?? It was just a mess and I am a kind person and don't like to bad mouth anyone's business, but honestly it was pure chaos trying to get my sons old second hand car that he was actually at church when it broke down. Long story but I sure never been treated so bad just trying to get the thing back home. These days people don't care about each other or what things in life that are kicking their but. I know you got a job to do but at least talk to me like it's not just ruining your whole day to answer a few logical questions. You may not be the only feller haveing a bad day!!!

I've never met a more rude owner. Took them forever to even get back with me to figure out if they COULD EVEN haul a dually. By that time I already had another service out who charged almost half of what David's said they wanted. Steer clear, you've been warned.

Absolute crooks. (They stole from me and are now trying to cover it up.) They lie to cover their tails because they figure they can't get in trouble for it. Will take advantage of whoever they can, steer clear, plenty of better places out there in Richmond that will treat you and your vehicle with respect.

Holy wow! Towing a car behind a U-Haul on a dolly and one of the rear wheels came off. I tried calling a few different wreckers before someone from David's finally answered the phone. In 20 minutes the flatbed arrived. The driver was impressive at his job and took all kinds of care not to damage the car any worse than it already was. Told us what part of town was the safe part to spend the night in so that our U-Haul wouldn't be molested, and provided other advice to help us on our way. They took care of our car first thing in the morning, charged fair prices, and were overall excellent. Highly recommend.

We are towing the camper from Michigan down to Florida for a Disney trip. Suddenly a camper tire blew on I-75 and I realized I didn't have the right tire irons to put on the spare. Found David's online and called, and 20 minutes later Eric was working on swapping the blown tire with the spare. He also checked my other trailer tires for pressure.

One employee there pretty much is all that assisted me, all of the others just sat and s.oked while I stood there waiting for assistance. They needed the size of the tire so they could order it. I was the one who had to go retrieve the size, they pretty much showed me they were going to do the least possible that they had to...made you feel like they could care less about having your business.
He got right out there and got it winched out of the ditch, loaded up and safe. I've used David's a few times throughout the years and they've always done me good. Knowledgeable helpful people. I highly recommend these guys!
Crooked towing, had a tow from quite literally two streets over and only had it in their possession for maybe 5 hours. And charged me 185 dollars. Like i understand it's expensive to run the trucks but gimme a freaking break.
Broke the back window out while putting tires on my sisters suv bought a replacement that didn't fit. Once she complained about the window not closing and a gap they told her the window only broke because she didn't do maintenance on it they was doing her a favor by replacing it. The owner said he had already spoke to his attorney and gave his name ( he must need him often) and he said there was nothing she could do. No one's story matched what happened. Very unpleasant, and unprofessional would not recommend to anyone for anything. They claimed if she did normal maintenance on her back door it would not have broke and it was not thier responsible to fix the gap that was not there when she took it in or the fact that her window no longer shuts. My truck broke down next to the new Shell on HWY 25 this past Wednesday with my enclosed trailer attached. I was right in the middle of running my lawn service route when my F350 broke down. I called David's wrecker and explained my predicament. The guy on the phone was very professional and had an driver out to me within 20 minutes. The driver done a great job loading my rig up and he even dropped me and my trailer off at my house. Got a call the next morning around 8:30am to let me know that it was in fact my alternator and they would have it ready to go by 1pm. I got my truck and trailer hauled, fixed, and on the road in less than 16 hours of my breakdown for less than anyone else in town would even fix the truck for!! I cant be more happy with my experience. Thank you guys so much for your help and prompt repair. Id give you 10 stars if I could. When the time comes that I need repair or wrecker service again, I know that you are going to be my one and only call. Thanks again
The young man who came to tow the car was very nice. He took his time and did a great job. I have used David's before, and I will damn sure not hesitate to call them again.
Charged me $108 for both a thermostat and radiator cap for my truck, which I would have been better off getting the parts myself. They even lied and said they put antifreeze in when they actually didn't. The mechanic obviously doesn't know the difference between antifreeze and water because I had my water pump replaced several days later and the entire cooling system had water in it. So that's my first and last visit to this garage. Won't be back ever again.
The driver delivered great service, was personable and friendly, and the price was fair. I hope to never need their services again (but when I invariably do, my first call will be to David's)! Highly recommend.
I called David's Wrecker for a short tow to a mechanic shop. The company was up front and reasonably priced. When I broke down and I got a guy named Eric that came out and helped me. Eric was super friendly, and he gave us advice as to what we could do and where we could go to get our vehicle issue resolved when everything was closed the day before a holiday. I was able to get the vehicle I came in up and running after the mechanic got me in the same day so I didn't have to rent a car and was able to keep moving. If you are in need of a tow definitely give them a call!
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. It is never a pleasant experience to have your car towed, but when it happens you hope you can trust the company. That was not the case. When I called I was told it was after hours and it would be more expensive - despite their “24/7” hours. I asked if I would be able to inspect my car and the man laughed at me and told me my car was “plenty damaged before” despite it only having a few minor scratches. I am willing to pay for my negligence but not someone else’s and I reserve the right to inspect my car. Then when I went to ask what their true hours were I was hung up on while the employee laughed. I called back and was told I HAD to bring cash. Why would a reputable company only accept cash payment???
My boyfriend and I have an F-150 and took it here when the back passenger tire on the truck went flat, but it required us driving on the rim. As the staff knew because before and after they were done with putting on the new tire I asked if we should get a rim and both times they said no and that it would be fine. Lo and behold not even two full weeks later we have a flat tire again. I’m so angry because I KNEW we should have gotten one but we were assured we didn’t need the new rim too. Even if they didn’t have a rim or whatever the issue was- we could have bought elsewhere and still paid them to put it on if that was the case but I don’t know why they didn’t just put a new rim on. My boyfriend and I were assured though that everything would be fine. Now we have to buy another new tire and rim.
So, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
I also liked them and would have went back, but because of this it just seems we got cheated and I’m just so angry. I knew we should have gotten a rim too and we were assured it wasn’t needed. And now we will be out even more money and my boyfriend has to miss work.
Now I also want to be fair here and say I don’t think it was the owner who told us not to get the rim and I don’t remember the name of the employee who worked on our truck but he said our rim was fine and that the tire would last forever.
So, again, I’m just really upset because this whole situation could have been avoided and my boyfriend is missing work because of it. It isn’t a situation we needed to be in right now.
Had a water pump and power steering pump replaced there, and same day still had some issues with power steering took it back and they fixed it at no charge. Prices on parts and labor are very reasonable. This is fourth time I've used them and the only place I will take my car. Thanks
I have roadside assistance thru ATT. Today I called them for a tow for my truck. They dispatched David's Wrecking Service and told me it would be 25 to 30 minutes before they arrived. He was there in 9 minutes. He was very efficient, very polite and from his arrival to delivery of my vehicle to the mechanic was less that 45 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend them!
