They were super friendly and we even shared a few laughs. Highly recommend

I appreciate their attention to detail and great customer service. The diagnostic test informs me of upcoming repairs. Kevin takes time to explain the report and answer questions.

I had my first, and hopefully last, experience with Ken’s over the weekend. Our vehicles were towed, and while the situation was our fault, what followed was one of the rudest customer service encounters I’ve ever had. As someone who works in customer service, I approached the initial call with positivity and friendliness. Kevin, on the other hand, was curt and dismissive. He later claimed he was right next to our house and would’ve cut the fee in half had we come out, something we couldn’t have known. During pickup of the vehicles, Kevin berated my husband behind his back in front of myself and my son, and mentioned that if the kids had backed in, he might’ve made a deal. Instead, he charged three full time college students, two 18-year olds and a 19 year old, $340 each for vehicles held overnight. He knew we lived next door and even admitted, “Had you come out, I’d have charged you half and left the cars.” What if they didn’t have a support system? The daily fee would’ve added up quickly. I understand mistakes have consequences, but where’s the compassion? To make matters worse, the owner consistently responds to concerns with hostility and zero accountability. There’s no effort to understand, no ownership of how situations are handled, just blame and deflection. At one point, he even bragged about towing the neighbor across the street, which had nothing to do with our situation and felt completely inappropriate. This felt less like a business and more like a predatory operation. If this is what success looks like, maybe we’re all in the wrong line of work. At the end of the day, one LEGO isn’t enough. I hope he steps on two. One on each foot.

This guy saw me as a single woman and totally swindled me, he told me my timing chain was going out but warned the engine may go out soon as well. Second opinion showed my engine clearly blown.

Their dispatcher told me he'd be able to meet me in 1 hr and was right on time. He was knowledgeable about the process for towing my truck and had me to a dealership within about 40 minutes of the whole process. I had no idea what the cost would be, but it was less than I had in my head so all good there as well. I would definitely use again.

Not sure of guys name who picked our car up to be towed to a shop, but from the initial phone call just asking for prices to him coming and picking up the car. Not a nice guy. Seemed annoyed and like we were a inconvenience to him. I didn't even want to drive with him I spent MORE MONEY ON A UBER...

This place works amazing with people and does good work. Our car’s engine blew, and it was a near 2 month process to finish everything. Kevin was extremely kind, patient, and easy going through it all. We 100% recommend this place.

Kevin and his team are great guys and do great work. Thank you Kevin for being an honest towing company and not a rip off artist like many of the tow guys out there. Thank you!!

Good group of guys. Ken and Kevin are very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles. Their 24/7 tow service is exceptional and quick too. They will be there In Less than A half a hour and guide you through the process of fixing your vehicle. You will get your vehicles back in better shape than you dropped them off.

Cost me thousands of dollars over charged me for services then broke my engine. Brought in for tranmission that he overcharged me for and when fixing transmission he broke the engine. When the reputable mechanic I took it to after engine died called Ken to ask why he left pins out of the transmission resulting in engine failure he wouldn't take accountability. Stay far away from this guy

They were there when we needed them the most. After the repairs were made (the car is 10 yrs old and needed help) the car as they use to say`purred.' We got some really good advice from them about how to do better maintenance. At 78 yrs. old I have to rely on experts to maintain my car. Ken's is that place.

**safe option for the ladies and fair pricing!!** Kevin and his son really saved me and my cats last night during an 11 hour road trip. It was late, AAA wasted my time for two hours and was of no help so I was stranded in the area and requested a tow. They came within 20 minutes, figured out the problem, and offered to quickly fix it at their shop outside of regular hours just so I could get back home safely. As a woman it was a very distressing situation, and I’m extremely grateful to have found these kind people- they made me feel comfortable the entire time :)

While on a trip to Kentucky my car broke down near Crescent Springs KY. Found Ken's, who got my car in same day and diagnosed the problem. Next day the repairs were made, with a thorough explanation of the problem and the fix, then was on my way to my destination. Ken's was very prompt as well as demonstrated outstanding customer service, professionalism, and showed a sense of urgency. Would highly recommend. Thanks to the entire team!

Ken is the most honest mechanic I’ve ever encountered! He went completely above and beyond for me the first time I went there, when my engine blew up in my car he didn’t try to sell me a new one he took the time to do research and quickly learned there was a recall and I was covered under warranty without that I never would have known! I would 10/10 recommended going here for all repairs !

I started using Ken's a few years ago having grown dissatisfied with the place I'd used for decades. Ken's still knows cars and doesn't just look up the manual to know which way to spin the wrench. From oddball classics to brand new they know what to do and do it right the first time, every time. Reasonably priced, quick. No reason to go anywhere else.

Last evening, we saw a young guy with car issues, on the side of the road on 71, near downtown Cincinnati. We pulled over to assist him and he was distressed that four other companies could not tow his vehicle in a timelly manner. We provided him with Ken's number and they promptly arrived and assisted him. We have used Ken's in the past and find them to be very professonal and highly skilled. We would highly recommend Ken's.

Kevin is the best. I was told somewhere else that my engine was blown. My son suggested to take it to Ken's. All I needed was a timing belt kit. This business saved me thousands of dollars. They thoroughly checked my car and gave me Honest feedback, repairs & respect. Definitely A+ Auto repair & customer service , I highly recommend !

I am not a motor-head. My vehicle is a tool that I rely on. For years I have taken everything I owned to an un-named mechanic in Covington who was always decent and I perceived fair. Lately however, it seemed all they wanted to do was have the computer and the manual tell them which direction to spin the wrench without any understanding of the actual problem and to get me in and out as fast as possible whether it solved my issue or not. So I went looking and fortunately found Ken's in Crescent Springs. Fair prices and a reasonable amount of time in the shop but most importantly to me Kevin and his employees know how to be mechanics and not just someone with a box of tools. If you want a fancy coffee dispenser in a decorated waiting room go to a dealer or one of the more modern shops. But if you want service on a vehicle that is priced fair and fixes the problem the first time this is the place. I have taken my own vehicle as well as ones of friends and even employees here for a while and am totally satisfied every time.

I called a few other tow companies that advertised as a 24 hour towing, this one was outstanding. They had a awesome response time to get me towed. The driver was very professional and relatable. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

From start to finish, my experience with Ken's Crescent Springs Service has been amazing. From my first contact over the phone to the end, they were awesome every step of the way. I was kept well informed as to what the status of my vehicle was, what repairs needed to be made and was made aware each call of how much was owed at the time of service. Even after I picked up my vehicle, Kevin sat down with me and basically gave me a brief maintenance schedule for what I need to do next in order to keep my high mileage vehicle running smoothly and informed me of an issue I was unaware of that the factory (Ford) did. All around I fealt the experience was great and the pricing was fair compared to your name brand auto mechanic that will charge an arm and a leg. I most definitely reccomend them and I'll be returning to them for any of my vehicle maintenance or repair needs.

After coming here and receiving personal service from a knowledgeable small staff, I won't waste my time and money at a dealership. I come here for oil changes because they do a thorough inspection, not just the minimum. I know when I pull away that my car truly has everything it needs. I also come here when I have an unexpected problem. They get to the bottom of it and the price is always reasonable.

I have had every car that I and my wife own at Ken's over the years for both the simple fix as well as the tough ones. Sure it costs money to have auto repairs done! The days of repairing our own vehicles are just about gone and you must have someone that you can not only trust, but someone who will walk you through what exactly needs to be done and what it will cost. My friends, these folks are those very people! I have never had to return after they have made a repair. They get it right the first time! As Always, Enjoy!

Kevin and the folks at Ken's were nothing but friendly and easy to work with. Spark plug blew out of the engine on a cross country trip, called several places and just said "bring it in" – whereas Kevin asked good questions over the phone and then gave several solutions that they could try before doing anything massive. It seemed clear he was honest, experienced and the guy I needed to get me back on the road. I managed to get it seated enough to make it to the shop, they got me situated, provided a much, much needed cup of coffee, and the cost at the end was more than fair, actually less than I was expecting. Got back on the road and so far we're holding up solid. If I'm in the area and need a shop, these are my guys.

Unprofessional, unnecessarily aggressive and completely disrespectful. I can't speak for how they treat people coming for repairs but if you're coming to recover a towed vehicle, beware.....even if you have the full tow fee in hand and a good attitude .they already have your vehicle so they THINK they can treat you anyway they want. EDITTED TO RESPOND: Yes, you can also add that the single piece of paper that I had in my hand out of MY MOTHER'S car had my name and address on it. I offered to show ID to prove it was mine, but before I could get a single word out of my mouth you violently ripped the paper out if my hand and raised your voice at me. Yes I lost it, just like anyone who felt threatened alone in a junkyard with a man 4 times her size. I immediately headed to where someone could see me, where I felt safe again. You followed behind on my heels screaming and yelling because I said "oh hell no, you have no right to rip something from my hands". You were upset because I defended myself. Also, you keep saying jail as if I went because of the incident. No. If you wanna post the video you better also post the report dear. I went for failure to appear in court for FISHING WITHOUT A LICENSE, not because of the incident. But of course your "professional" self will make it to be something else to make yourself look good, just like your professional response to my review. You have a great day Ken. It's all good.

Lost both left wheels off our 1-ton Chevy dually while pulling a 6-horse gooseneck trailer northbound I75 at Exit 190. Headed to Michigan. Stuck on exit ramp. Unbelievable! Called Ken's and asked for a flatbed tow and a. truck that could haul a trailer. Kevin and Nick showed up immediately and pulled us safely to his shop. Parts were ordered and after an overnight stay he and his team had us back on the road mid-afternoon. Checked all our wheels, test drove the truck, and checked lug nuts again. Friendly, expert repairs, very fair price. Kudos to all at Ken's. Highly recommended.

When our motor home broke down on Good Friday, we stopped at Ken's Crescent Springs. They treated us so well and were so helpful, it was a pleasure to be there. They spent hours trying to find the problem. Being Easter weekend, the garage was closed until Monday. They made us comfortable with water and electricity in their driveway for the 2 days. We were on our way home from Florida to Windsor Ontario, so had no other choice. Bright and early Mon. morning, they were there with special tools etc., and continued to try to find the problem. After some time it was diagnosed, but they were unable to repair it. They were very honest with us about it. We had some unfortunate bad luck several times at certain garages over the years and so asked for a recommendation. Ken's recommended a smaller garage that they said were very good. They had done some good work for Ken's in the past. They towed it there for us, but we had to leave it there as it had to wait to be looked at. Fortunately we were pulling our jeep, so were able to load up and go. That garage was also so good, phoned every time to speak with us before going ahead with different repairs. We really appreciated Ken's for recommending them. In all the years that we had dealings with different garages I can honestly say we have never been treated as well as we were by Ken's....and consequently by their friends. I would sincerely recommend Ken's Crescent Springs to anyone for any problem. They do not take advantage of their customers at all. Also they are reasonable. Thank you all....you made our breakdown actually a pleasure. Paul and Susan Mallet. 2015.

I have had work done a couple times at Ken's. I've had my back brakes done and an emissions piece replaced as well as oil changes. Most of the time I end up talking to Kevin, he's always willing to explain in great detail how parts work and what might need to be done. They never try to up sell me on getting more done than I need. I like a mechanic that is willing to discus issues with me. I appreciate it. I have read a couple reviews on here about the facility being dirty and the mechanics being dirty... Let me give you some advice, if you want a spotless waiting area and mechanics go to a dealership, just be prepared to pay triple what Ken's will charge you. As for me and my 95' Town Car, I'm gonna go to Ken's.

I read all the reviews before I went to Ken's to release a wrecked car to the insurance company, and I was quite wary of all the negative talk. I suspect many of the unhappy people had cars towed by police and came to Ken's with issues from the start. I had an excellent experience with these folks, they were pleasant and helpful - a very kind man stood out in the cold with us as we took forever to empty the trunk of the demolished vehicle. I know he had to watch us in the lot but he chatted and smiled and made the experience much better than it could have been. Thank you Ken's, you deserve a good review from us today.

Wish It could've been zero stars, they are in the game of terrible customer service and that's why they have such an unkempt shop and filth employees, this place is good at maximizing your dollar value while offering absolutely to professionalism. Just look the owner takes time to respond to peoples negative reviews and defends himself like a jackass. The only towing service I would ever use is Smiths in Florence. They had my review removed from awhile ago. This place is unprofessional and god awfully taken care of. Just smell the place and you will understand.

Needed service to open car door after locking keys in. To jimmy the door they charged an exorbitant price of $75. Also, after being told the wait would only be about 30 minutes to arrive as my car was literally two or three streets away, I instead waited over an hour. After 30 min I called to ask about how much longer and all they could say was the truck was on its way. Needless to say the price does not match the service. A good business owner might also keep in mind it is not good to argue bad reviews, it makes you look unprofessional. Take it in stride and just improve!
