  When I called this place Elmwood Auto salvage they are very rude. They answer the phone talking to other people then they hang up on you and when you call back, they answer the phone rudely.

  I love this place it's great and the man who runs it is AWESOME AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL ALL THE TIME IF HE DOESN'T HAVE WHAT U NEED HE WILL TELL U WHO TO CALL TO GET IT BIG MIKE IS A VERY HONEST AND COMPASSIONATE PERSON TO DO BUSINESS WITH SO IF U HAVEN'T BEEN OVER TO ELM WOOD AND NEED PARTS FOR SOMETHING GIVE THEM CALL OR JUST STOP BY U WONT BE DISAPPOINTED EVER

  Asked my wife if she turned tricks. We did scrap copper, manhole covers, and if you had a car that needed crushing immediately it used to be place to go. Now ? They are too high to crush and they promise to crush and then you see vehicle that you have sent certificate of destruction to Frankfort- the idiots at Elmwood are selling on Craigslist. Run, do not walk. RUN, take scrap elsewhere. SYLHA.

  Nobody ever answered the phone, but I went there anyway. Nobody was there. Makes it hard to find a part. And had I found what I needed, I wouldn’t have been able to get it anyway.

  Family owned. If they don't have it or can't help, they'll direct you to someone who does/can. You will not get ripped off here...they won't buy a car as junked unless it is truly junk! Mike Roberts is the best. It is probably best to call before going if you need a specific part to see if they have anything like it.
