Thanks Tim Mabry (Truck #R50090) and Jason Bakay (Truck #84) for your work last night (early this morning); I was truly in a pickle and appreciate your patience and professionalism. Thanks for getting me turned around also to ensure we didn’t get stuck again.

Excellent experience in less than fortunate circumstances. Their recovery guy (whom we shall call R023), did a very professional job of asking the right questions and explaining his procedure. Highly recommend these guys!

Joshua did a great job towing my car, he was so nice. And help me to park my car on the correct spot. He took me home because I didn’t had a ride.

Tim Mavry R50090. My drive train suffered a major blow at the dairy. Wouldn’t move. Tim showed up and went above and beyond to help me get the job job. We were able to get the milk delivered, he waited on me then we re-coupled the tractor-trailer. We had to stop For fuel. He bought me breakfast. Customer service at its finest, well spoken man. Surely appreciate him.

Jarrod was extremely helpful when our RV broke down and we were stranded on the side of the road! He even gave us suggestions of places to stay and things to do while we waited for our RV to be fixed. He made a very stressful situation into a good learning experience! Fast, efficient, safe, and knowledgeable! Thank you!!!

I had a great experience with this towing company! Joshua was the one who helped me, and he was incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. He arrived quickly, handled everything with care, and made sure my car was dropped off exactly where I needed it without any hassle. It was a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. Highly recommend their service, and a special thanks to Joshua for doing such an excellent job!

Predatory and extremely rude. Just heard the employees laughing at how they’re going to “get one more day of storage fees from ‘em” about how they’re holding up processing tows. They make so many hurdles in the process to make you wait. They have no air conditioning or water in this over heated double wide they’re operating out of and “can provide no timeline of how long the wait will be because they only have one employee” while we’re staring at 4 employees out here in the lot leaning on a car and laughing. It’s 90 degrees out. All for a whole block was mistake towed for a paving projects that ATS Construction didn’t per city protocol. have signs hung up for. Total trash place bleeding money out of a city contract and community members.

Robert in truck 84 was excellent!! He went out of his way to make sure I got my wrecked vehicle out to the junk yard on time before they closed and even gave me a ride back closer to home. Awesome guy and awesome company. 1000% recommend

I just wanted to say these guys are amazing from the dispatcher that went above and beyond to make sure i wasn't waiting forever on 4th of July night to the supervisor that came out and towed my jeep. I was expecting a much larger price tag and a MUCH longer wait time. You guys are great! As someone who worked in the business for years, people like you make peoples bad days better!

Caleb was absolutely amazing at the tow yard window! Not only was he super helpful and patient, but he was also so, so cute—like unbelievably adorable. His smile could brighten anyone’s day, and the way he handled everything so professionally just made him even more charming. Honestly, I almost forgot I was there to get my car because I was too busy admiring how ridiculously good-looking he is. 10/10 service and 1000/10 on the cuteness scale!

Very easy to work with and polite and friendly staff. Lonnie displayed excellent customer service and demonstrated wonderful sympathy for those of us experiencing auto collisions and the insurance process for the first time. Great work!

Me and my wife witnessed one of your trucks 33.92 not using a turn signals as a CDL driver for over 30 years I think it's unprofessional

My wife’s car was towed from my apartment complex by this company, and the entire situation was handled in a completely unfair and unprofessional way. I parked in a space that clearly said “Residents Only,” which applies to me. There were no signs saying it was reserved or required a separate rental. My apartment complex never informed me that the spot had any restrictions beyond being for residents. After I disputed the charge and won, the towing company contacted my brother-in-law, even though he is not the cardholder and had nothing to do with the payment. They tried to intimidate him by saying they would check the cameras and hold him responsible. That is completely inappropriate and uncalled for. It is CLEARLY HARRASSMENT The way this company operates, from unclear towing justification to inappropriate follow-up behavior, shows a serious lack of professionalism. I recommend others take photos of all signage and keep records if they ever have to deal with this company. IF this harassment continues i am going to report this incident to consumer protection authorities.

Highly recommend these guys if you need a heavy duty wrecker for a semi truck. They got me out of a pretty bad situation by providing a heavy duty wrecker and a mechanic. These guys were professional, timely, helpful, and affordable!

This company is essentially holding the car of a deceased person for ransom. The individual did not have a will. While the family waits for the probate court date, they are charging $65 a day to hold the car. No one can get it. This is robbery at its finest, and is somehow legal. I’m sure they are great when you need them, but they are cruel. The very least they could do is put a hold on the daily rate. Of course they won’t. Update: I now have a waiver asking for me to be executor of his estate signed by both parents. Roberts Towing told me I still have to wait until the court date and they refuse to budge on the daily rate charge even though they won’t release the vehicle. They don’t seem to care about anything but dollars. Update: I did ask about billing, but the person I spoke to was uncooperative. Yes, I mentioned reaching out to news sources to tell my story. That was not a threat. That was a person trying to get help in any way they can. What would you do in the same situation? Update March 12: I was granted legal authority to obtain the vehicle. When I arrived and presented my paperwork, I was told to pay $2202. I asked the woman if there was any way to reduce it. She shrugged her shoulders and said “It’s a business. It’s a shame the funeral homes charge $10,000 for a funeral, but they’re a business”. $2202 for holding onto a deceased person’s property. It’s shameful. Update March 17: Today I received a certified letter dated March 11. They were told I had a court date for March 12. The letter reminded me of the deadline I had for April 2. It reminded me that they would put a lien on the vehicle if it was not picked up before that time. It reminded me of their plans to sell the vehicle and use that to pay the amount owed. They knew the owner of the vehicle is deceased. They knew I had a court date. I have kept them abreast of the situation and have been in contact with them to let them know of my intent. I don’t know if the letter was required by law but it feels like they are killing him over and over again. Response to owner: You have my phone number. You can reach out to me if you want to make this right. No one I speak to at your number is willing to have a meaningful conversation. Update: It’s been another month and I still haven’t heard anything back. I feel that their responses aren’t genuine and they don’t seem to have any interest in making things right. Response to owner: no one at that phone number is willing to do anything. I sent an email with my phone number and look forward to hearing from you soon. Update: Another month has passed and still no contact from Robert’s. I sent an email asking for a call. No response. Are they really interested in making things right? I’m updating my review to bring it back up to the top.

Would not recommend. My car was towed there after an accident. It was stolen from their lot then wrecked through their gate and taken on a drive by the thief. Ultimately, it was recovered but it was wrecked and totaled while stolen. I had to go back to the car and get my belongings between the time of my accident and before the theft. The office staff were nice, but the lot worker was really unhelpful. I had an entire trunk load of things I needed to put in my rental car, and they refused to let me bring the rental to the car. I offered to let them ride with me, and they still refused. I had to load my items in their suv and transport to my rental. The issue there was the vehicle was extremely dirty and dusty. It looked like it had been sitting in a gravel pit for years. I was so dirty on my black pants, I had to go home and change before I could go on with my afternoon. My items all had to be dusted off before I could put in the rental. After the theft, they refuse to give me their insurance information or police report number and have been completely uncooperative with my insurance company. Ky Farm Bureau has been a champ for dealing with them. I can not get the owner/manager to come to the phone. If he sees this, please reach out if that’s not your intention. They leave the keys in the vehicle on their lot. That seems very unsafe even behind a gate. They are a very expensive storage lot and they are not delivering service that matches their price. I would’ve expected them to keep my vehicle safe and secure. It was there for accident storage, not some other kind of police impound. I’d give them zero stars if it was an option. Their negligence has cost me a lot of money. Even with a total loss deemed by my insurance, my down payment and added upgrades are lost.

Roberts Towing is a disgrace to the name Robert. While driving from Michigan to South Carolina with my husband and two children (ages 10 and 6) we were T-boned by a class A camper pulling a trailer which totaled our car. Luckily my children and husband were okay with no injuries but I received a 2in laceration to the back of my head and spent the morning in the hospital. Thankful none of us were hospital bound and considering ourselves extremely lucky my husband and children organized a rental car and picked me up from the hospital, headed to Roberts towing to retrieve our belongings and carry on our road trip. When we arrived the office staff was rude and would not let us retrieve anything from our car (which had everything in it for our trip). Because the car belonged to my parents they required them to send in a notarized form allowing us to enter the vehicle. My shirt was bloody and I had no change of clothes. The office staff had no sympathy. We sat in the parking lot for hours while we waited for my parents to find an online notary (on a weekend) and email back the form. You know when a company is honest and you know when they are shady. Roberts towing only cares about making money at the expense of anyone’s humanity.

Caleb was incredibly helpful and professional over the phone. He stayed calm, listened patiently, and gave clear, accurate info that made a stressful situation much easier. His great attitude and quick assistance truly stood out. Robert’s Towing is lucky to have him!

Look else where when looking for a property towing service. Called at 5:30 am about a car parked without a permit. Was told someone would be out in a couple hours. No one ever showed up. Called again at 6:20 pm. Was told normally a manager has to call to have it towed. Because the drivers complained that when they get there the cars are gone. Probably because it takes you 4 hours to send someone out. Called another company car was towed within an hour. Will call them from now one. Looks like the property you manage is now going to be taken care of by who ever I call that will take it.

Roberts towing are the rudest, sneakiest, and uneducated about the law, acting and thinking like they are the law wouldn’t believe anything out of their mouth even if it came notarized, they try to intimidate customers telling them they can refuse to give you back the car if they feel like it, I actually went after them for some illegal tows of my car from my apartment complex and WON!!! So when they are out at nite because that’s when they slither around because most people are asleep watch your vehicle and know the new law. I had to give it a 1 rating just to post they deserve 0

Vehicle broke down in Lexington and the driver, Joshua Mullins not only responded in a timely manner, but also towed our truck 150 miles home. He also made sure to bring a tow truck that would allow us to fit in there with him. Super nice guy who was happy to help in our desperate time of need!

We needed a tow for our 27’ Winnebago, from Georgetown to Lexington, Paul Miller Ford. Ford recommended Robert’s, which was in Good Sam’s Club list, so we requested them! Ernie showed up, within 30-45min! He was very particular about hooking up our Rv making sure all was perfect! We followed him to the Ford service center for large vehicles, and he is a very good driver. So appreciate his care of our home on wheels! Highly recommended!!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! My son got into a wreck and totaled his brand new car that was purchased out of state. This placed towed it from the scene. Cop suggested taking it to an auto shop but they refused because they were closed. Instead insisted taking it to their lot. They never even spoke to my son, all communication was done through a parent of one of the passengers. So without my sons consent they locked his car on their lot. Since the car is new and he has temporary tags/registration they will not release the vehicle. We have transfer documentation, lien documentation, purchase documentation, proof of insurance, and they won't even allow us to access his vehicle for belongings. Instead they are holding it hostage, charging daily fees, and won't release until we are able to complete registration on a now totaled car. Even the cops (who I contacted to see our options) said they get multiple calls a day about how this place operates. She recommended me getting proof of transfer paperwork from the dealer, once I told her we already have it she apologized again and stated she truly wishes they would work with people especially when they can show valid proof of ownership. Avoid this place at all costs! They took my sons new vehicle without seeing a registration (again he has temporary, not expired) but now won't give it back. On top of not towing it to where he requested!!

Between the employees who wield their authority unfairly and the blatant disregard for the law, I don’t even know where to begin—except to warn you to stay far away from these people. I was forced to file a stolen vehicle report just to retrieve my own car, all because of the employees’ unprofessional and arbitrary behavior. Despite having all the required documents, they refused to release my vehicle simply because they felt like it. I witnessed them do the same to two other customers before me. This isn’t a business; it’s a scam. If they have—or get—your vehicle, expect a battle to get it back, likely involving law enforcement. I have already reported them to the state attorney general and the Better Business Bureau. If you find yourself in a similar situation, refer to Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) § 281.930—you’ll need all the legal backing you can get. Good luck dealing with these crooks.

Roberts can take your car, not contact you, and charge you an extra $45 (on top of the 217 tow fee) because you brought your own dolly to tow it out and they have to "stage" it.... What a joke. Guy was like, oh they should have told you that last night. Dude why didn't you say something. We could have driven the car out if you had told us.

I was in a wreck and my car had to be towed. The lady in the office, LaQuetta, was wonderful through the frustrating process. Lonnie was great also! I had to call a manager with additional questions but it was all worked out. These two need raises. Customer Service and communication top notch.
