Had a commercial garage screw me over and fail to fully repair a tire with a puncture. Tire went flat later in the day, and Smith’s helped me get my car back to be fixed (properly) as well work with me to make sure the garage payed for my tow and drop rather than me. Truck was clean, service was fantastic. Very friendly group of people. Don’t waste your time going to anyone else, these guys are great.
I have a 1981 MCI bus. It’s a three axle 40 ft long bus and Smith’s got me off the side of the road when my clutch failed. They were quick to arrive and very professional making sure the job was done right and safely. The cost ended up being right where I thought it should be. Nothing worse than some of these greedy towing outfits when they have you over a barrel! I will definitely call Smith’s again if I ever need a tow!
Called Smith's Towing, talked to Doug the owner. Was looking to get towed across town to our mechanic to have my wifes car diagnosed. Doug was able to recommend a solution over the phone and was able to help get the car running with some guidance. He or any other tow company could have taken advantage and charged anyway for a service, but this was a wonderful surprise and helped saving my family and wallet a trip to the shop. Will be returning for any actual towing needs!
Called several other tow companies and they couldn’t get someone to help us. Smith’s Towing responded quickly and got us back on the road. Professional and kind people made our unfortunate breakdown not so bad after all. Cost was reasonable, too.
Call Smiths first. Didn't come up in my initial search for a towing service so I spent all day stuck in the mud calling every other service in Lawrenceburg and Frankfort. Carey's said they were coming but never showed up or picked my calls. Jennings told me up front they couldn't help because I wasn't right off the road, which i appreciate that my situation was beyond what they handle and they didnt waste my time. After 4 hours I called Smiths. They showed up in 15 min with a team and 3 trucks. I was worried what that was going to cost but only set me back $300, which I considered a deal given the service. My recommendation after today, don't call anyone else if you're in Smiths service area.
Doug and his staff at Smiths towing went way above expectations. I had a flat tire on way to a funeral and he loaned me his personal vehicle so I could make it. He did not even know my name at that time. While I was gone, he fixed my tire which required a drive to lexington and back to get a new one. Doug Smith of Smith’s towing is the only company I call from now on if I need something towed. Excellent service!! Highly recommend.
Arrived on time and hooked up carefully without any damage to the car. Towed my car to the destination without issues and unloaded in the indicated area without problems. Charged the agreed price. The two guys were friendly but professional. Overall, about as good as an unexpected tow job could be.
Our car broke down which is never a good experience, however we called Doug at Smiths Towing in Lawrenceburg and he was so courteous and responded quickly. He went above and beyond making a bad experience into a good experience! When it comes to needing help when stranded, this company is the best! Truly heartwarming to know there are still kind people in the world :)

prices are through the roof and the people are beyond rude and arrogant. money hungry company and they don’t care to please customers. Doug Smith has made it as hard as he can to keep our car on his lot to get daily payments. My mom told him we had already spent enough money through this company, because at this point we’d paid $500, so my mom told him we would get another towing company to get it off his lot and he immediately became aggressive and told her that would not work. He caught an attitude and his exact words were “if we’re gonna do things like that, then we will do like that” referring to my moms reaction to his arrogance. This business does not take women seriously and talks in a very degrading way to female customers. i would recommend taking a man with you to deal with Doug Smiths attitude and this company that will try to pull more money from your pockets. Extremely unprofessional and does not care for their customers, only the select few (mostly men) they take interest in serving.
An irresponsible repair shop went from 9:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon to replace the screws on the two brake pads and the two shock absorbers. The shock absorbers were brought by me and would bully foreigners if they charged me 500 yuan. Rubbish stop wasting your money.
