NEVER AGAIN. I would not recommend this company at all, I received my car in worse damage then it was. The guy towing was downright rude and rushing the whole process.

Highly recommend! My gas tank fell out of the bottom of my car 20 miles from home. After being jerked around by my insurance company for 24 hours, I ended up calling Mike and he had it towed back to my house within an hour.

Michael was at our location in less than 10 minutes. He was able to unlock us immediately. There was a big storm coming and we were concerned we were going to be stuck in it. 6th street towing deserves to be first on the list of service in Lawrence. I called about 10 businesses ahead of them and they either didn't answer, had an out of state answering service or wanted $200+ to unlock. Michael was wonderful and extremely affordable. HIGHLY recommend them for any service you need!!!!!

Used Sixth Street Towing for a tow with a non starting car. If you have a modified car and are worried about damages being done you have nothing to worry about. I called to have a truck towed and Mike said he'd be there in 15-20 minutes, and he was there in less than 10. It took about the same time for him to load the vehicle and get it towed to its destination. Prices were very reasonable, and he was very friendly and professional. 10/10 would recommend.

I called Michael Tuesday night with a flat tire and asked him to come give me a tow to the tire shop the next morning. He came by at 8:30am, and had my car hooked up in less than 10 minutes. This was the first time I've ever had to get my car towed and within minutes the truck showed up. These guys are the real deal and got my car over to the dealership within minutes. Michael was friendly and even brought my key into the dealership after I had to takeoff. Highly recommend.
I’ve never needed a car tow before and Michael was super helpful on the phone, incredibly punctual, and seemed like an overall good guy! (I appreciated his masking up as well.) I honestly expected a tow to cost me a pretty penny, but he charged what I felt to be a really reasonable amount. Would definitely recommend him!

Very impressed. First time needing to call a tow company and I am glad I called Sixth Street Towing. Arrived in just under 20 minutes to my location. Operator Michael was absolutely amazing. He could definitely tell it was my first time and listened when I explained the problem. He determined it probably could just be the battery and gave me a jump start. Sure enough was just a bad battery but I was able to get my car home that night. I would recommend Sixth Street Towing to anyone that needs a tow company here in Lawrence.

I called to have my car towed after it broke down on interstate. Michael was able to pick up my vehicle and take it to a dealership in a timely manner with no issues. I thought their prices were very reasonable. It was even less than I expected which is great news when you're having car problems.
Had a boat trailer mishap while trying to back down the ramp after dark, to pull out the pontoon for winter. Partially submerged, the trailer slipped off the ramp. Stuck. I left it there to ponder options a couple days. Calling tow operators I don’t know makes me nervous. But then I found online SST, with near perfect customer reviews, and lots of them. Called Michael this morning. He actually got to the boat ramp before I did. The situation I’d gotten into definitely required a tow truck and winch. Resolved pretty quickly but with significant effort and ingenuity on the operator’s part. And a wonderfully upbeat attitude despite water and cold temps. Charged $100–we’re out of town a ways—and no damage done to the trailer in the process. Terrific service. Hope not to need towing for a long while again, but when needed, SST will definitely be my family’s choice. Thanks, Michael!
Without a doubt, there are certain reasons why some places get such high reviews, and Sixth Street Towing definitely deserves them. Michael is kind and compassionate, and really does his job well, he provides an affordable service, that was very fast and efficient. I would definitely use them again when the time comes, and I will recommend their towing services to everyone I know, they are truly that good.
Best experience I have ever had with a tow company! The owner/driver is awesome, very professional, clean cut, and friendly. He came to my rescue on very short notice and promptly. I have high anxiety especially in these situations, but he was very easy to work with. The entire process was quick and easy! I must also mention that his price for in town towing is very reasonable and definitely the best deal in town. I HIGHLY recommend him. I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews when things go well, but his service was exceptional!
