They had exactly what I needed already on the shelf so I didn't even have to pull it and the price was only a out $8 more than the pick n pull yard without the extra work
Very professional, & knowledgeable personnel. I had called a half dozen other salvage yards before calling Don Schmids. 4 of them just said, "no don't have one" & when asked, didn't know where else to check. The other 2 gave me quotes that were almost the cost of a rebuilt one! At Schmids, I talked to Barry, who said they didn't have one either. I said, thanks &prepared to hang up. Barry told me to hang on, said he'd have one the next day & the price was good too. I ordered & received it next day as promised. Thanks Barry & the rest @ Don Schmid!
Got front seats and an alternator to put in my moms car. They had the best seats and they weren't ridiculously priced like other places I'd looked, the alternator was even good! They were very helpful!

I’ve been working in the recycling arena for a little over a year now (April 2018) I’ve dealt with Howard and Ben mostly, some others too, I’ve gotten the same 5 star service from everyone I’ve talked to at Don Schmid!!! This has all been over the phone using Metro Courier Service for deliveries like I said a little over a year. TODAY (6/11/19) I met Ben & Howard for the first time in person!! Just want to say thank you guys!!! Appreciate your time, will be calling you again soon Howard thanks guys!!!

Oh & today, (6/11/19) I called them from the parking lot of another salvage yard over a missing part, Ben helped me locate another part & seriously bailed me out of a jam all right at 5:00pm!! Thanks again guys!!!
A wonderful salvage yard that even though very mono-toned... They take care of their customers. This is one of the only yards that will pull your part with care to ensure no hose fittings or pipes are bent when they pull it off. Always kept in the best quality it can be for a used part. Great people work here.. No mater how old and rough they might seem at times. :-)
Horrible customer service. General manager worst person I ever met. I own a Glass shop and this people for a second time treat me terrible. They don't have my business at all.
This place needs to learn how to update their website.
Messed me up badly because I stopped looking and went it to find that they didn't have my part even after website said the did.
If u ever lose a lug nut its the place to go, might have to dig thru a box but its free. I lucked out i found a matching one for my car, it was right on top.
Good experience with Schmid this past week. They did not have the Jeep part I was looking for (radiator) but called another warehouse and got the part within 2 hours. Price was reasonable and had no issues when installing the part myself. I would do business with Schmid again.
They have a good selection of parts and quick service. The parts are removed carefully so there is not extra work for repairing something that is broken. We got a rear axle, and the brake cables and speed sensors were removed from the car so they could be reused. This saved us the time of transferring these parts from the old axle.
