What clients say about Sparks Flea Market in The Highlands (KS)

Rain impacted the amount of vendors still open on the last day, but I found several good finds making the trip very worthwhile. Vendors were flexible on pricing.

Well to tell the truth this year was a little of a let down. A lot less vendors this year. Miss the big barn.

Lousy flea market, billed as huge, but not, no signs as to Sparks, no parking , not many antiques, certainly not worth the drive. Would not recommend!!

The weather was good, lots of food venders, plenty to shop for! I had a great tenderloin while my friend liked the hot dog plate. The Amish vendor served excellent food and pie. Followed that trip with a visit to White Cloud for more choices.

Great flea market. Lots of vendors and not that crowded. Going again next year.

Went on Thursday during Fall sale with a friend. We found prices to be mostly high, but found a few items each. It was HOT and water bottles were available for $1 at several places.

A lot of junk .. the things that are worth something they're asking three times the price.. these are professional flea market people that travel all around and the stuff that is good has traveled around with them ..so they're all beat up.. example there is a little Harley-Davidson mini motorcycle they were asking what it was worth running in good shape ...but it was all beat up plus half the stuff was missing..not worth it.. And the professional flea market people all have attitudes like their stuff is really worth something..

A fun place to go! Sparks and White Cloud have semi-annual flea markets and city-wide sales. They are fun to go and walk around just to see what you can find. They have food and beverage vendors/food trucks in addition to the thousands of things for sale. My only issue is when we went this year, it had been raining and it was so muddy that it was hard to get to everything without getting stuck deep in mud. That also meant half the parking areas were inaccessible so it was a madhouse trying to find parking and get out when it was time to leave. So, if the weather has been crummy, it gets a little more difficult to enjoy but it was still really fun! Definitely something to attend at least once! Prices have really increased over the years due to inflation. If you go to Sparks, you might as well go 10 minutes up the road to White Cloud and see the 4 corner state lookout! You can see 4 states at once - Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa. Really cool to go and take pictures! See a few of my pictures of it below!!

I was a little pissed when I arrived at 2pm Thursday and most vendors had left for the day because of earlier rain. The sun shined til 5pm whilr I shopped and I gave my money to the 10 vendors who are hard core. Thanks to them for being there otherwise I would've driven 7 hours and lost money.

Sure wish this happened more than twice a year. This event had it all. Tons of antiques, collectibles, seasonal offerings like mums in the fall, etc. Lots of food choices, too. We could have spent all day, but we chose to head out when the crowds got heavier. We drove an hour and 20 min to get there, and I'm sure we'll go again next spring!

Unfortunately, there are many vendors bringing the exact same items every year. Some of them change up, but not many. Vehicles are still allowed to drive down the main street, which becomes dangerous for those walking the flea market.

Everything from scoop to nuts. Old to new. Also found some flavored honey from Miss D's honey. Good stuff!. Plan on going back in the fall. Also a lot of great people.

One of the biggest flea markets in the area, with a lot of merchants that have a wide range of items for sale. Plus a lot of good food at the food vendors, makes it even better.

Sparks Flea Market is huge! There is truly something for everyone! Old rusty junk, repurposed furniture, antiques, craft items and some of the best food around! You can go every day and see something new! Highly suggest coming for at least one day if not two!

First time going and found some very nice items. All kinds of merchandise and friendly people. Weather unfortunately didn't cooperate as it was rainy and muddy. I encourage anyone who enjoys these type of events to go

Alot of vendors but most wanting almost new price for the items they had. Or they were actually selling brand new things for more than their actual value. Some were more reasonable. Everyone was friendly though.

Fun time, lots and lots of booths. Kettle corn and other food trucks too, great way to spend an afternoon or a weekend

Was a exsperience. Do alot of buying and selling and this was a place I would come back every year a little bit of walking but it was worth it. With covid going on everyone was eaither social destencing or wearing a mask felt really comfortable there. Some prices was high but for the most part was reasonable.

It's true what they say, if you can't find it at Sparks flea market, you're probably not going to find it. It was a great day, I I took care of my footlong corndog fix. The vendors are always friendly and we always find some outstanding buys. It's an easy and relaxing trip up 7 highway.

Really fun place to go for flea market fans and collectors of all kinds of things. Lots of great sellers who are usually easy to bargain with plus they have some great smelling food as you walk around. You just never know what you'll find! It's like a treasure hunt!! Great way to spend a day outside.

Been going to this flea market for several years now. You could probably find what ever you are looking for. Make sure to make an offer if something is too expensive , very nice people and most will give you a deal. Great Food. My sister and I always have a blast !!

This is a must go to place if you like to hunt for antiques/flea market items. But you gotta be tough! This is not for the faint of heart. It can get hot, cold, windy, calm, rainy, sunny, muddy, dry because it's all outdoors where the fleas, ticks, chiggers, and flies are all well-developed and hungry. I had a great hunt and bagged 3 trophy cast iron skillets. Fair priced too. Even saw and visited with a friend and former co-worker who guided me to my 1st kill. Planning now for the next hunt, next spring.

Super busy, super big outdoor flea market. Parking is done on the streets, so be careful if you have a small car etc as some of those shoulder dropoffs are quite large! Other than parking, this was a truly awesome flea market experience! Tons of stuff everywhere, lots of vendors on hand with a good mix of stuff, and enough food vendors to keep everyone happy. Overall this was a great escape for the weekend, and we were able to find lots of very unique pieces for our collection. We are looking forward to the fall outing!

This event used to be fun and something we looked forward to every year. In the last two years, the selection has declined and the prices have gone up. It is becoming more commercialized and less of a flea market.

Been going for 8 years now and absolutely love it! Makes my junker heart happy. Such a unique set up and variety. I always tell people it's like a ghost town turn flea market. I happen to know the family making the kettle corn right up front but it is seriously the best I have ever had! Definitely one of the reasons why we go every year sometimes both spring and fall. Also if you like to haggle this is the place to try it out, I have noticed less willing vendors lately butt they didn't get my money. Their loss.

You never know what treasure you will find. It can be a tad pricey but it's always a great time.
