Brandon is great to deal with and his staff have always been friendly and helpful unloading. You cannot find that at the inner city scraps! Also a great place to buy metal straight from the yard. Also, you have to understand that they dont have a railroad track that pulls straight up to the yard to ship their metal out. They haul all of it out! The lower paid prices are still DEFINITELY worth paying them a visit. Brandon personally hauled off our farm equipment and still paid a good price! Keep up the good work!
Absolutely my favorite place to go for parts! I always get the best deals and love the pick and pull. I usually spend around 3 hours out there! The people who work there are always helpful!! I recommend this place for all your needed parts! Five stars and well worth the drive from Lawrence, Kansas. You won’t find a better deal on used parts!
Great place to shop for most anything to fabricate projects with. All metals, hardware etc. Brandon and crew are a great group to know and work hard managing the business and helping people with recycling many types of materials. Prices are clearly posted. Easy to load or unload. I have been visiting there regularly over the past 20 plus years.
Always pays less than other yards, owner Brandon Willis is drunk most of the time, very mouthy and if he thinks you don’t know your metals he rips you off, on top of all that he is constantly buying stolen cars and running them straight into town in his next load to his buyer. Overall just a yard of crooks.
Alvy's is best little scrap yard , not to mention there is a treasure trove of old bump and dent side Ford truck parts out there. Found a perfect grille shell for my 76 Ford out there 15 bucks. Good people and been there forever.
Google states open until 4pm on Saturdays. Called twice in the morning with no answer. Finally get an answer after 1pm to be notified they closed at noon. Horrible customer service on the phone and sounding smug almost as if the inconvenience was funny. Not good business.
