As lame as this feels, you are likely interested, and it’s necessary. After relatively substantial work, I think I may have had the car a day when I tried to put groceries in the trunk, but none of the 3 ways work. Jake tells me to come back, and when I do, explains the timing is really something, but they’re not responsible; it worked fine when they were in and out of it, and nothing they did could have affected the failing part, so that looks like $600. But this is so crooked and shady, I sort of respect it: only by chance, I met an installer who I thought may be able to explain how this could happen; he says, “Did you check the ‘Valet’ button in the glove box?” Dude opens my glovebox, pushes the button, and trunk magically works. I had no idea there is this button that disables access to the trunk. Soooo, these gentlemen at Gooddeal pushed the button, and when I went back with what I believed was a broken trunk, said they diagnosed the issue, and replacing it only costs $600. I’m not sure which is more impressive: my stupidity or their level of attempted weaseling. I should be mad, but can’t help be amused by such brazen sleaziness. I’ve been going there for a spell now, so who knows what all else has happened. Come on, man — that’s crazy
We’ve been going to this place for the last 5 years, there’s been several times that our cars have went in for one thing and miraculously ended having something else wrong also. This last encounter was the last straw. They returned my wife’s car with missing bolts that had been broken off while it was there. When we brought it to their attention we were told there’s nothing they can do about it. Wear and tear is their answer to everything. Her car went there because it was idling high and we ended up paying $800 to repair a broken brake line that happened when we left and they parked the car. Mind you they never fixed the original problem. My advice, DO NOt take your car here.
The gentlemen quoted a fair price, set a schedule to make the repair, completed the job on time for the stated price. They are professional and know your time matters. I think they are great.
You guys have been taking great care of my vehicles for 9 years. I appreciate your honesty and integrity when diagnosing my issues. Most places would over charge me or complete work that was not necessary, but I always trust you. I recommend you any time I can. Keep up the great work and customer service!
Don't go here! Wife was called a liar when they broke something in our car's AC and wanted to charge us for the fix/gear.

Apparently my soon to be ex husband owes them money for his business account, So they refused to work on my car, don't have me make an appointment just not to do anything I pay for my own repairs and they know this... Blows my mind refuse a paying customer over a non-paying one... Oh and they lost a part to my car & acted like it was my fault....
The guys at Gooddeal always get me in and out quickly, taken care of, and never try and sell me on things I don’t need. Always great care and great professionalism, I would recommend them to anyone!
First I’ll start off saying, I have heard nothing but good things about this shop. I made an appointment for alignment service. I was told I needed new tie rods before I could get an alignment and one thing I’ll say, they got it done same day with a hour to spare before closing time. They got the parts in and out and my vehicle aligned within 2 hours. Completely shocked and happy to know it could be done same day. I’ll also mention, pricing was great with the fast service. I’m satisfied after driving ny car and noticing the difference. I will be bringing my vehicles here for future service.

These guys are the best I've found. They fix things the first time every time and do it in a timely and cost effective manner. Good deal really does live up to its name! I highly recommend these guys.
I’ve been taking my truck to these guys ever since I’ve got it. They always do good work for a great price went in today for an oil change and they also replaced my tail light cheaper than I coulda done it myself
First time here I had them fix my oil leak and got a coolant flush and oil change. I've never had a coolant leak or over heat in my truck since I bought it 4 years ago, they broke my radiator flushing it then told Me it was like that and tried to charge me 340 dollars to fix what they broke. On top of if that leak was there before they did the flush then why would u flush it.. and waste my money. They scammed me and broke my radiater just going in for a oil leak fix and coolant flush because it was free with the coupon. Will never ever ever go back to this money trapping place. Jacob was very Un professional and they just want all the money they can get from u.
The customer service is outstanding. Super kind honest employees. Good Deal Auto has taken care of all my car maintenance and repairs with integrity and excellent workmanship. They also did a fantastic job on my daughters car.
Able to fix mini coopers and significantly cheaper than going to the dealership. Great service on cars and customer facing as well. Pretty sure they farted in my car before giving it back to me on my most recent visit. Stuff happens, what can you do. Definitely recommend even if it's a bit out of your way.
This used to be my go-to auto repair shop, and I had always appreciated the friendly staff and the quality of their work. However, my recent experience has been disappointing. Earlier this year, I spent over $700 to fix a faulty blower motor and replace a few parts in the AC system. Unfortunately, we noticed a high-pitched squeaking sound coming from the new parts as soon as we picked up the car.
When we brought it back, the shop was unable to replicate the noise, but we continued to hear it every time we drove. We even had a video of the sound. While the sound did disappear for a few months, it has now returned—and it's worse than ever. Despite taking the car back again, the shop claimed they couldn’t hear the issue.
It's clear to us that the part is faulty, but the way this situation has been handled has left us frustrated and disappointed. I wish the shop would stand by their work and address the problem properly. Hearing this noise every time we drive has soured what was once a great relationship. Sadly, we will not be returning.
I’ve taken both my cars to Gooddeal - a 2007 Honda Civic and a 2014 Chevy Suburban. They’ve been an excellent shop and I feel like I’ve found my go-to spot for mechanic needs. They’ve done brakes, starters, ball joints, and more for me. They communicate well, are fairly priced, and were excellent at working with my extended warranty carrier also. Jacob especially is a knowledgeable but personable point person for the shop. Really appreciate him.
Had visited Gooddeal Auto Services to get pre-purchase inspection done recently and found them to be very thorough in their methodology. They were also able to get me in in a relatively short notice. I appreciate the overall honesty and the candid post-inspection chat that helped me estimate the value of the vehicle a little bit better. Moreover, the rate was also very reasonable and the pre purchase inspection came with a neat report card of sorts that was pretty helpful. Would definitely recommend them!
I got my car from KC Used Car Emporium back in December. It’s been a great car, but the engine light came on and I have an extended warranty. I called Emporium to see where I should take my car with the warranty and they recommended Gooddeal Auto. I called them on Friday afternoon and they were able to get me in first thing Monday morning. They were willing to work with my warranty, but unfortunately that particular part wasn’t covered. However, Gooddeal lived up to their name and was very affordable. I have already recommended them to my family and friends. Whenever I need a mechanic in the future I will be calling them!
Honest, affordable, quality, and friendly service. I got wheel bearing replaced by this company. I was told by another company it was my engine that was making the noise and that it needed to be replaced. I was also told by the other company that my break light kept coming on and that I needed to replace all of my breaks front and rear. Turns out my break fluid was dirty and just needed to be flushed. This company saved me allot of money and headache and actually did what was needed and were totally honest and friendly. I will continue doing business with them as this is how I do business with my customers. Thank you and the world needs more people like us.
This shop has never let me or my family down in the ten years I've been a customer. Every time I go there know matter what problem I'm having. They get me in and explain the problem and any future problems that may arise. They have never tried to up sell me parts or over charge for work done.
One of the most important things I love about Gooddeal's, is if I pull up or call to ask a question. They take their time free of charge to give me an answer. This shop is run by the Williams family - James, Tom, Jacob. Incredible people. While a generalist shop - they helped me dial in my tuned BMW 340ix.. suspension overhaul (upgraded shocks, struts, u/l control arms), braking system (upgraded rotors, pads, lines, fluid flush), fueling (upgraded HPFP, plugs, coils).
They allowed me get in there and get my hands dirty with them.. come in with my own torque specs and instructions.. and by allowing me to do so.. saved me thousands of dollars (probably ~$5-7k) over what I would have spent at a BMW specialized indy.
I’ve sent friends here for minor stuff.. and the guys have just fixed it for free.
Gooddeal will be my forever shop as long as I live in KC.
I had a great experience with the Good Deal Auto Team. I had a “Check Engine Light” appear on my Ford Fusion and I had taken it to another shop (Before I knew how great Good Deal Auto was!) and was quoted for a bunch of work that wasn’t necessary. I met one of the owners of Good Deal and brought it into them. You can tell they really care about the person behind the wheel - They found the issue and corrected it for me! Honest, great pricing. They have a raving fan in me and my family for all our future Auto Service needs!
Very trustworthy and honest mechanics. They’re helping me get a cheap used van up and running. They’re very no-nonsense and thorough with their diagnostics. Prices are 35% to 50% cheaper than at a chain-store garage. They do a great job at getting you in and out quickly while providing quality work. I’m glad to have found these guys and would recommend them to anyone.
Called 2 shops before calling here to simply get my muffler replaced. The 2 shops before had no idea what a simple job was. These guys took it and had it done in 20 minutes. I'll be coming back for sure. Nice people. Quick work.
