I wish I could give ZERO stars! Don’t waste your time DO NOT CALL them for help THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!! They will TAKE your hard working money and over price people. Very rude and don’t know how to communicate to a human-being. This company and the police is working with each other. DO NOT LET THE COPS CALL THIS COMPANY FOR YOU JUST FIND SOMEONE ELSE! This places needs to be shut down the only reason why they are still around taking our money with the help of the police. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!
Had my vehicle towed there after a wreck. Went there the next day and they told me that we needed a release from Edwardsville PD and that it was going to be $460 for towing it 4.2 miles from the accident and their tow lot! We went to PD and they told us we didn’t need a release to get my vehicle back since it wasn’t a DUI or anything like that. The front office guy was shady and so was the two guys that were in the back lot. They had a guy that was one of their friends come try and look at my truck since he had the same type of vehicle as mine, he probably saw some parts on my vehicle that were gonna be able to fit his. As soon as they both saw me and my brother they both left the lot where my truck was. I made sure to record and take pictures of what was in my truck and what was around my truck before leaving to go get something to fix my blown tires since they popped both my front tires so then we probably wouldn’t be able to tow it home! They kept giving us a run around the whole time we were there and when we got to asking about why the price was so much the front guy started stuttering his words like he got caught in a lie! I MOST DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND having your vehicle towed to this lot! Go to Sante Fe Tow instead they’ll get you better taken care of!
No one wants their car impounded, so the process is expected to be stressful. I was treated with kindness, empathy and respect. After reading the reviews, I was honestly nervous to go in to discuss the situation, but the current reviews are an ill representation to the treatment that I received. While I wouldn't recommend having your car impounded , I would 100% recommend the team at Alandon. -Thank you again!
I had a great experience with Alandon Tow Services. My car broke down unexpectedly, and I needed a tow. From the moment I called, they were professional, friendly, and quick to respond. The driver arrived faster than I expected, was very courteous, and handled my car with care. The whole process was smooth and stress-free during what could’ve been a really frustrating situation. Mason towed my car that had been totaled for me, and went above and beyond to help me get it cleaned out. Considering my trunk was completely demolished, he was able to get it opened so I could get everything out of it. Gentleman behind the counter was amazingly helpful getting everything situated for me for my insurance company. Definitely some hero’s. Thank you!!
Every Tow Service I have experienced has been unhelpful and difficult to work with, generally during a difficult time (nobody is having a good day when they need a tow :D ) but Alandon was very easy to work with, helpful, and communicative. I rarely write reviews, but this is the first positive experience I have had with a tow service.
Please do not use this company. They caused over $500 worth of damage to my car and didn’t care. Didn’t try to fix the issue. Told me to make an insurance claim .
This is by far the most unprofessional place i’ve ever encountered in my life my car got towed in on April 9th I go and pick my car up the 12th now let me tell u my car was wrecked in the back driver fender with big yellow scraps down it.. I go inside and legit the man with the beard behind the counter told me it’s not their problem take it up with the police station so I made a report their is photos of my car before and after. Well I go back down their and I was told well they said the guy wasn’t in he won’t be in till Monday so I called Monday spoke to a gentleman he gave me a phone number to send pictures to which I did, call my insurance made a claim still never heard anything back from Aladon, called down there again Thursday and then Friday, was told he’ll be aback n on Monday the guy that I needed to speak to so I called today spoke to Jonathan he told me my car’s been out for too long they won’t take responsibility. I told him I have tried to get a hold of the person that handles the claims since the day it happened and it’s not my fault nobody down there wants to do their job or take responsibility there’s no way it’s legal for them to tow somebody’s car and not take responsibility when they touch somebody’s car they have insurance on that damn tow truck or on their business and they will take responsibility and I will make a report to the Better Business Bureau and the FCC I will make a report I have already made a police report and my insurance co claim and they should not be allowed to touch anybody’s car if that’s the professionalism that they offer if they can’t be trusted then they should not be in business how would kckpd going to have some one like this tow in our cars. Very unprofessional place I do not understand how their still in buisness.

Sucks they are only open 9-5. Had to pay for 3 extra days for over the weekend. But they were nice and courteous even tho I wasn't happy about my car getting towed. And when I got it back all my stuff was in there.
Bill your semi driver helped me when my rig broke down his quick response and professionalism was very reassuring that my truck was in good hands and I was too thanks again Bill white your a true professional and an asset to the company you work for I hope I never break down again but if I do I sure will be calling abandon tow
Front desk not so clear with paper work I needed to get my car out. I was back and forth. But whe I finally got it, Mr. Kevin was super nice and helped me with some strings to maintain the bumper on place to get home safe.
Victimless crime ring a bell? It's when no crime has been committed and people benefit from someone else's misery/bad luck. That describes this company very well. My partner's tire blew and he spun out of control on his way home from work at 4:30 in the morning. We went to pick up the car within two hours of the accident. They had stolen it by then. Now, we have to pay them to get it back. We have to give them our entire paycheck to get back our stolen car. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night living off the backs of others. But I guess some people can.
Great services they provide and Freindly all of them . I usually work with Aaron he is really Freindly and helpful and professional. And they never put me down on any job . I own repair shop for semi trucks and always call them and Aaron . Fast and really affordable as compare with other tow companies I used in past
From reading the reviews I was very apprehensive about going to pick up my car. When I got there everyone was polite. The guy that came and took me to my car was very friendly very helpful because when I tried to start my car the battery was dead. He went and picked up a machine brought it to my car and hook my battery up to it and it started right off. And as a matter of fact I was $4 short from what my bill was and they let me get my car with absolutely no problems. I had $40 cash in the seat of my car when it was towed and the $40 cash was still in my seat when I got in my car. Thanks for such a pleasant experience I appreciate you guys.
They picked up a vehicle at 1pm, a few hours before the repo deadline and 1 hour after I contacted the finance company to let them know I have the past due amount ready to process a payment. As I was on the phone with the finance company to process the payment Alandon arrived at my house and loaded the vehicle, I began reading the texts from my wife to the finance company rep and was put on hold, while I was on hold my wife was giving me the play by play and informed me that the driver was in a heated discussion with someone on the phone for several minutes before the finance company came back on the phone and informed me that I would have to call them back Monday to see what we can work out. I was 39 days late, had the money to process a payment agreement I had been working on with the finance company for two weeks all for this company to jump the gun and refuse to drop the vehicle per the finance company issuance.
Deplorable company, deplorable humans, and I promise I will get my lick back one day
Not sure how to rate it yet. Because I don't have any money to pay them or have a ride because they have my only transportation right now AND can't work because I use my truck for work. I am unable right now to get ally work tools, alot of clothes, shoes, work boots and my antique fishing poles,2 rifles and personal property. It's going to be a week more perhaps before I can check it out.
So, sit tight, my review is delayed until I can get around to taking inventory. Stay tuned.
Car was impounded on Saturday and I came to claim Monday morning and the assessed 3 days of storage charges. The clerk could not articulate clearly how they came to 3 days of charges when they had my vehicle for less than 48 hours. When I paid, I had to ask for my change back Twice. Also, the tow truck driver still has my keys so Ive been waiting for him to arrive. Good experience if you like being kicked when your down.
Used them once not even a month ago and paid $134 to tow a car 7 miles. Called for a tow today and was spoken to like a child. Told it would be 160 for a tow less than two miles. Cool, stuffs expensive, whatever. When asked, they refused to provide a price breakdown and instead was met with a super attractive condescending attitude. Probably wouldn't have been so annoyed with the price had the dude just broke it down but I guess customer service isn't their forte.
They were really great. Not that I wanted my vehicle towed. But since it was anyway, my experience with the employees were pleasant. Everyone was really nice and helpful. I would definitely use them if I ever have need of tow service in the future.
The driver was excellent ,very polite,knew exactly what to do and prompt .Friendly and I was very pleased with his service. For the person who answered the phone sounded like it was his first day or still in training.told the driver wrong place to go and ask me address several times after I told him there was not a address ,I was in the middle of intersection. But overall I rate it a five star.
In my case pretty much the best towing experience. Showed up at promised 30 minutes. Towed my carhauler in the most professional way. Haven't hit a single curb with a trailer tire. What a professional! Been able to get my carhauler in the tight shop without any problems. Definitely recommend this company if you need your truck towed. Thank you for your professional service.
I dealt with an embarassing situation yesterday and the guys and gal that work for this towing service helped me with it. From sitting in the middle of the highway and the driver helping the troopers try to get a mattress off of my car, to the drive back to the shop, and to them removing my tire to get the mattress unwrapped, they helped make a crappy situation better. They helped me laugh about it and I gave them a first ever experience unwrapping a mattress from my tire. Thanks to all of you for helping me yesterday. It was much appreciated. Next time...I will leave the mattress at home! :)
My vehicle was towed for having expired tags over the weekend on Saturday night. Woke up Sunday morning and was told by calling 911. They were conveniently on sunday (which i was charged for) so i showed up on monday around 8:20 because i left my wallet in the vehicle and i needed it pay for renewing the registration. Had to wait for about 10-15 minutes for one of their employees to retrieve my wallet because they forgot to ask for my keys. Came back 2 hours later to pick up the car only to have the receptionist quote on quote ask me if I was sure my car was there dispute being there the earlier the same day. Found out in all the time it took me to register my vehicle they hadn't even bothered to put my vehicle in the system so they could charge me over 200 dollars for storing it for 2 days!!! Nothing was stolen, missing or damaged in my vehicle. But a combination of incompetent employees, lack of any organization, and high charging fee. When i first looked them up i thought the previous reviews of the place may have been a bit harsh. Now, after suffering through it i see that Alandon's Towing earned every single one of them.
I hate to ring the same bell as everyone else here but my experience is the same especially with the receptionist! She is just as rude in person! Bought a classic project call and had it delivered to my home (private property I own) while I was out of state. when I returned the next day the car was gone. wasn't there 24hr. but apparently they can tow because they couldn't find a VIN# as I stated it was a project car 1960 chevy VIN #'s aren't in the window. so wile in their possession I have to have a specialist come out to locate the VIN # which took 2 days plus it was a holiday weekend to boot. oh and did I mention the only reason I knew the car was there was because I went to report the car stolen. at the time the receptionist at the police department told me that I could file a complaint with the police department for unlawful tow and request a refund of all expenses. They are truly the worst tow company I have ever dealt with! stay away at all costs!!
When they towed my jeep they went through it trashed it.left dome light on killed my battery then charged me 20 bucks to jump it left my windows down and it mysteriously had a flat tire luckily I had a small compressor they would have probably charged me another 20 bucks to air it up. The only way I found who towed it is cause I called police to report it stolen. The tags expired on a Thursday it was a holiday weekend so I couldn't get it tagged till following Tuesday and still had to pay 40 bucks a day and the rude ass receptionist I wanted punch her in the throat but just smiled and got my jeep and left
I can't even believe how horrible my call to the receptionist was. We bought a vehicle off auction (wrecked), and were towing home when towing issues happened. Long story short, our vehicle, on the dolly, was stolen overnight when waiting for repairs. Cops found it next day and let us know that they towed it to Alandon. Lady on phone was very rude and was saying the cops brought it in because of drag racing (it was never driveable!). I was asking if the dolly and tires were still with/on the vehicle (who knows what the thieves took off). She answered, "How am I supposed to know, I'm only looking at the screen!" Was it very selfish of me to say - "well, go find out, you work there!" We live 6 hours away and needed to know what to prepare in order to bring the car back home. These were reasonable questions. I am sure she shows these kind of manners to many people if the police use them to impound vehicles, and I am sure she didn't believe me when I said it could not have possibly been used in drag racing, but she needs to try to be more respectful. We haven't picked up the vehicle yet, but I'm sure that will be a lovely nightmare (cuz now we need to register our just bought car in order to have a chance of getting it out. Oh and she wanted insurance too - she just didn't get that WE JUST BOUGHT IT, no chance of having insurance already bought on a wrecked vehicle).
