Me encontré con la actitud negligente de esta empresa hacia los conductores que entregan su carga. El edificio principal está cerrado por reconstrucción y restauración. Nadie de esta empresa puede indicar la verdadera forma de descargar, ni tampoco explicar la forma. No saben qué es Google Maps para indicar un lugar en cualquier parte del territorio. No es la competencia de los empleados lo que está fuera de serie, ni la constante ignorancia de los conductores. Impresión negativa.

I took my aluminum cans in to find out they told me I only had,12lbs at 48¢ a lb I got paid 5.25, which to say I work for ups, N I know picking the sack up i took in weighed at least twenty,lbs, or a lil more they saw a new face N took advantage of a new customer watch out these guys are shady business, I will never go back, they just made me totally not wanting to recycle my cans anymor they will go in the trash from now on,
This place never answers the phone. They are the only company in kck with a shredder and they pay the less for all metals. Non-ferrous as well. Go to rivers edge in wyandotte or Midwest scrap in Kansas City Missouri. They treat you better and pay better
Complete waste of time I brought in several iron items items that way more than 10 lb one big items that way more than 30 pounds and I only got 3.38 in payment and all I got for reply once I asked what is going on that's just the prices of items nowadays
Be careful, they will always try to sneak number 2 copper on your payout sheet, even for beautiful bare copper if you don’t pay attention the whole time… also notice the scale TAR for the carts. Not all the same.
I have used Topeka Advantage Metals off and on for 25 years or so .most of the time I go to KC. I would say I give 5 stars until now. My service was the worst experience I've ever had any. I am 56 years old. So I have seen a lot. I was threaten by Cody. Cody was supposed to help me with my transaction. Cody is in need of mental health help. He has serious issues. He refused my sale and started throwing my scrap at me. I had to call the police. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS TO MY WORST ENEMY. GOD BLESS YOU ALL..
As a commercial coustimer for many years its disappointing to leave such a bad review. But I can afford to ship material ( aluminium) to witicha and get 60% more after freight. Thats unbelievable.
This location only weighs in LARGE vehicles, no pickup loads. Wish the lady I spoke with on the phone earlier that morning bothered to inform me of that. Location w same name near Cheyenne & 7th St is more for residential/smaller scale scrap.
