Crooks. Took my personal wire in a company vehicle since I work in the area. After they took the wire, at the office they said they can only make the check out to the company knowing that most companies keep the wire money and Employees just end up throwing the check away. They just figured out a way how to scam some people. Other recyclers don’t do that. Very rude staff by the way.
Them fellas down there helped expedite unloading and getting in and out. It's a shame that they don't accept brass shell casings that have had the spent primers removed, and have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaning process that removes all hazardous residue from inside the cases. Otherwise, prices were fair based on market value. Will return again.
We brought in over 100 lbs in metal household scrap. We're just a little guy, SUV, not a truck with thousands of pounds. After weighing us on entry and exit (weight was fluctuating up & down by 100 lbs or so), they paid us for 20 lbs, like $1.50! So their scales are not calibrated, or they're effectively putting their thumb on the scale on the way out. The big guys won't notice but I sure did. Don't go there if you're a little guy.
Phone will never be answered. Lots of construction at the only visible entrance at this location, with giant sign saying closed to the public.. why is this place still even on Google maps?
What a great experience. I am a first time scrapper. Every employee I met was friendly, helpful and informative. I was even given tips to separate my materials to net a higher value. Next time I have metals to recycle I will be using Advantage Metals.
Rude people. I don't recycle much but both employees I dealt with acted like everyone goes there daily. No signs for customer entrance. Watch out for debris in the parking lot or you'll need to stop by the tire store down the road.

Great place to recycle metals. If you show some respect, you get treated respectfully. I like the fact that I can just dump the stuff off the back of the truck rather than having to put it on top of the pile. My back is thankful. Thank you for helping save the planet!!
I got in and got out in an orderly fashion. It helps me to have someone back me to the dump spot. I would like to see it pushed back a little better. Flat tires makes it a bad day. Oh well it's part of it.
Last time I did a review for them, it was very bad. But I started going there again and I get the best service than any other plac the people who work up front the men they're always very polite and they don't try to get one over on you. So I always try to go in the Mexicans are out there working because like I said they are just wonderful polite considering anybody else I've ever met at any of the salvage yards they are the nicest I've ever met thank you
Taken scrap metel in has always been a part of my life something I ll always do just wish the pay would go back up to we're it was a few years ago it payed over 200 a ton now we're lucky to get 70 a ton big difference
I had a great experience....wait time was a little long but expected with Covid precautions. Staff was easy to work with and I got a decent amount of money for a bunch of junk metal....
Lady behind the counter was very hateful, as if I should had known everything, I told her I had never been there before. Maybe she should be a litter nicer since we are paying her salary by recycling. DO NOT GO

Metal scrap yard. I'm not a professional scrapper but Ive dumped some old major appliances here twice.
YES: stoves, ovens, range hoods, water heaters. Anything metal.
NO: computers, TVs, electronics, refrigirators with coolant in still, no plastics, wood etc.
Dumped a range hood and oven here that in Johnson County they'd have charged me 100 bucks to get rid of. This place gave me 3 bucks. So whats not to like.
Yes it's a junk yard steel toes, leather gloves, and pickup truck recommended be careful not to run anything over and get a flat tire.
Super rude employees. At all points. Then they tried to pay far less then quoted scrap price. Trying to rip us off hundreds of dollars. There's many far more friendly and honest scrap yards. Do yourself a favor. Go elsewhere.
They take advantage of people who aren’t familiar with how recycling works and the value of the different metals. They wrote a ticket for my son as “sheet metal” when it was full of copper. Don’t do business with them. They are shady and cheat you unless you are familiar with the recycling business.
Picking up a load of aluminum bales with a dry van trailer. Theres overnight parking on the road and they open at 8am. Seems like these guys know what their doing. Clean driveways for trucks and the dock area is very clean.
Beware, that location is poorly organized and poorly marked. Thay do take pickup and residential trailer size loads. Trying to find the ATM for payout is practically impossible.
I had gone there for several years when I started out scrapping and turned in scrap for 4 years ago I turned in several loads of alluminum weighing290 pounds I was paid $0.55 a pound by a man named Hime working the scales inside I did this for just about 17 loads well 1 day I had to take it to another scrap yard when I pulled in they told me I had extruded aluminum and proceeded to pay me $0.90 a pound.when I brought this up to him the next day he laughed at me and said fat chance that I should know what I'm doingI have not gone back in over 6 years
