Stole from me wasn't given full price for bright bare clean copper and also didn't even count my copper pipes and bits on my ticket so they just stole that

They are fair with most prices some I can get more for at. A different they do.a good job people are helpful and the lines moves fast if everyone has there stuff sorted as they are suppose to .
They need to pour some concrete. Don't go down there after it rains. It's a swamp. I do believe their scales are accurate. Terrible service. I've read the props from people. The guy who works the scale is a total tyrant Now he's telling everybody praise God and Jesus. (what I've been told). So now he's trying to save his power Trip. Those are probably fake reviews he solicited. Several times I've had to walk back and get my ticket corrected. One lady said I didn't need to show I/d already showed it and then the next lady says I need to show it. The people who work the yard who direct you in don't know construction hand signals they have some mojo they cooked up and think we understand it Don't stand in your rear view mirror where you can see them. Then Park you too close. I left to go somewhere else 2 months ago. Maybe their ATM machine works maybe it don't. I don't miss the politics trying to get number one bail I thought I'd wait and write my review when I tried another place not two or three places just one more place less than 5 mi away. I'm very pleased to not have to deal with the guy who works the yard or the people who pay you.
Stepped on the scale TWICE and said that I had already registered 3 weigh ins. They have also stopped accepting a lot of things as clean aluminum like they used to.
I have been doing business with down since the day they opened their workers are very helpful dispatch have always treated me nice one thing I will share, a dispatch is very busy in that window they don't have time to hold hands they're just there to get a quick job done and I think that's great service everyone there is good people I appreciate their services
The process goes pretty smooth always. Very nice man assisted me by telling me what I needed to do, then where I needed to go next . Very helpful and good people. The ladies in the office we're very nice and pretty quick. Thanks again.
I love the girl that work the front at the window they are very helpful and respectful! They know there clients by name and always have a great attitude. The guys who work in the yard there ok not very helpful some days and one can be kinda rude and some days he’s helpful I guess everyone has there good and there bad days rite! I would have gave 5 stars I just don’t like that we have to cross the street to go to unload after the going over the scale it’s dangerous I’ve almost been hit a couple of times I’m glad I pay attention because some people do not or maybe they don’t know it’s there idk but that’s my only complaint other then that fair prices usually not to bad on getting you in and out they also have a pop machine and .50 bottle water
This is the place to deal with. Easy in. Easy out! Best prices.. organized business. Not a fancy place but well laid out made 7 trips in one week no flats. NO hassles.
I barely understand the scrap business but this is a good place to unload scrap metal. Aluminum is currently almost worthless. Prices paid hardly sync with those on iScrap app.
It is a nice place to go to they treat people nice and they pay good it's like this when gas goes up meatl gise up when gas goes down then mealt gose donw and if we go back to war meatl would pay real good and people would be taking everything that's meatl and you all have a nice day
Overall I think this is a great place, but the last few times I have been there to sell some aluminum radiators I had two weighing 44 pounds they had on their wall the price for auto radiators were 1.16 when I looked at ticket they gave me .16 a pound which was what they were paying for aluminum radiators with copper tubing in them when I questioned they told me the auto radiator now days are junk so they don't pay as much and showed me an old model a radiator with metal tanks on it and said that's what they are paying 1.16 a pound for but the picture on the wall showed auto radiators like the two I brought so that kinda got me upset considering that's 44 dollars they got me for
Would rate at zero stars because I had the tailgate stolen off of my truck and while other companies asked for the description of the tailgate(I have a couple of unique things on it) these people just said we can't help you. This just tells me that they will take anything even if it's stolen just to make a dime, I can not and will not ever deal with them. Shady dishonest company.
I recommend this place, very clean and organized. Easy transaction and I'm happy with the prices.. You can easily pull up out front and load up your cart for small loads. I visited many in town, most I would not even pull into because there is junk everywhere and I just put new tires on my car. No worries at Rivers Edge!
