My wife and I hit a deer on a Saturday night south of Concordia, and the vehicle was not drivable. We had it towed to Budreau's, as it was highly recommended by both a gentleman who stopped to see if we were okay and also the tow truck driver (PJ - who was also great to work with).
Despite living 6 hours from Concordia, Budreau's was great to work with. Shawn Parker was an excellent communicator, and the work they did in repairing the vehicle was outstanding. The vehicle was a Ford Expedition which had a lot of sophisticated tech that needed repaired, like 360-degree cameras, adaptive cruise control, etc. Everything was well done, and we would highly recommend Budreau's for any automotive work whether body-related or electronic/tech.
Took my truck in for oil change and vacuum hose leak. They fixed it. After picking it up 9 miles down the road the coolant hose that was right next to the vacuum hose brake and came lose. They sent a tow truck to pick up the truck. The next day they claimed they had nothing to do with it and charged me $300 to get my truck back. It was just a scam to get more money.
Had tire problems on the way home from a fishing trip on a hot late Friday afternoon. Their staff was amazing at helping us out with our tire issues. Would highly recommend them!! Thank you!!
When we locked our keys in our car in a parking lot, we called them and Gunnar came in 5 minutes. He was quick, kind, and did a great job. We were in a bind and he came at a moments notice. Great service… Thank you!
A towing company that doesn't work weekends? Was stranded for 12 hours in 40 degree weather. AAA and Hertz could not find a local towing company that would answer their phone. Had to use company out of Salina. Finally called my son to drive 135 miles to pick me up.
The people are great.its hard to find a tire in a small town like concordia, to fit my van. The people there got my tire put on and was really quick about it. They are kind of expensive but when you need the tire at least they had it for me... Officestaff and the guys outside are all super friendly!!!!
Highly recommend this place. Had a road call for a blown tire, very, very fast response, very good work,very reasonable price, and Bob is one Jam up dude!
We blew a tire on our camper a few miles out of town and drove it into the shop 30 minutes before closing. They greeted us with a smile and a wave and immediately backed us into the garage, replaced the blown tire and had us back on our way in a matter of minutes. I don’t take the time to leave a lot of Google reviews, but I am extremely grateful and impressed by the efficient service with an extra dose of Kansas courtesy. Highly recommend!
Budreau Muffler looks like a good place to have my car worked on. I don't know yet; I have an unusual car-the only one like it in this town. The man I spoke with is trying to find the tires that fit my car. He seems determined to find them. I asked him if they could work on my car's engine and he was sure they could perform most repairs my car needed, or at least find out what problems there were. I was impressed with their front office: there are three workstations with two computer screens each and three people were working at them, so I'm very hopeful that the tires can be found. More later! Cross your fingers for me!
He help me unlock my call when my keys got locked in by accident!!! He was very friendly!!! That is very important to me!!! I ask him questions about his family and he listened about my family !! That made the whole situation less stressful!@
I was travelling with my daughter from Phoenix to Milwaukee when the engine overheated in a rural area in Kansas. We called AAA for a tow but the question was where do we have the car towed? It was Friday around noon and we needed to get back to Milwaukee by Sunday so that my daughter could catch a Monday morning flight out of O'Hare to San Francisco and then Tiapei. The nearest town was Concordia at 13 miles away. The tow driver was named James and was part owner of a tow and repair shop called Budreau Muffler Automotive and tow. As luck would have it we had the car towed to Budreau. After a short time they diagnosed the problem but the problem was that the part needed to make the repair was not in stock but could be in Concordia by Saturday morning at 7:30. Budreau was closed on Saturday so the repair would have to wait until Monday. That obviously didn't work because of the 8:45 a.m. flight out of O'Hare. No other repair shops were open on Saturday in Concordia and the nearest car dealership at 40 miles away told me there first available appointment was ten days away. It started looking bleak when James the tow truck driver came to the rescue! He offered to come in Saturday morning to pick up and install the part. We gladly took him up on his offer and everything worked out from there. As an aside, the total charges for the repair service were very reasonable. In conclusion, if you ever find yourself near Concordia Kansas in car trouble, call Budreau - you won't be sorry!
I called them on a Saturday for a tow for my Hyundai Tucson. They towed my car 27 miles to their shop and even helped me lift my 100 pound dog into the tow truck!!
They then helped me figure out how to get my car towed to the nearest Hyundai dealer which was 60 miles away, and let my car sit on their mechanic shop parking lot for a few days while I figured everything out.
Next time I break down near Concordia, I will be calling them again! And if my car wasn’t covered under warranty I would 100% trust them with the repairs.
They are the sweetest people I’ve ever dealt with!
The crew has helped me with countless pesky auto problems. What really counts is that they communicate extremely well and even the people who answered the phone have a wealth of knowledge of automobiles. They can usually diagnose over the phone what your main issue is. This saves time and money!
Great staff, very fast. 6 hours in on a road trip and went to fuel up. Put truck in park and vehicle said no key detected due to keys that fell off truck bed while turning out of driveway. Team was able to picked me up and tow me to the nearst dealership for new key to be coded(all before they officially opened). 10/10 turned my day around! Thank you so very much!
Mr. James Kindel unlocked our van in about 6 minutes from call to door opening! His punctuality really relieved the stress of locking your keys in the car. Thanks James!
I bought a truck from Budreau muffler and the owner told me that the rust had been repaired. He said that there was a very slight amount of surface rust and he said that it was all sanded out and treated and then bed liner was put on top of it. About 3 months later the rockers and bedsides are bubbling and cracking out from below the bed liner. When I asked him about it he said that he didn’t actually see the body shop sand it all out. When I asked the body shop that did it, they told me that he just wanted them to put bed liner on top of it as a cheap fix. The owner told me that it was completely sanded out and treated, but obviously that was a lie. The cost to repair these spots correctly would be a few thousand dollars. So as far as I am concerned they stole a few thousand dollars from me.
Pj is a very nice man, i was having a issue with my car after setting up an initial appointment, he allowed me to keep it there a few days free of charge. Thank you very much you made me feel welcome in the family!
