Incredibly helpful after getting stuck in the snow on our way back home from out of town. The guys who helped us were quick, knowledgeable, kind, and efficient! We were connected through my insurance’s roadside assistance.
Called for a tire change on our trailer. When worker arrived he was taking his sweet time and smoking a cigarette and sitting on Snapchat. When he unloaded the tire it was not the correct size. The tow company still wanted to charge $260 for doing nothing and bringing the wrong tire. He then proceeded to call the sheriff for “theft of service”.
Broke down with a truck and trailer. Was quick to respond. Worked with my insurance company to get me off the road and even sent another vehicle because there was too many of us in the vehicle to ride in the tow truck
Great and professional communication. They were quick and called me to let me know when they were 10min. Out and what vehicle they were in. They did a great job, and won't hesitate to you them again. Thank you!!
Had a motorcycle broken down requiring a tow and they came at night and brought it right to my home! Excellent service!! If I could give them more than five stars I would!!
If you want to be killed while getting towed out in a snow storm call them. Has next to no lights on his truck and cant even get an SUV out of a drift.
We broke down 70 miles from home late night on a Friday night. My insurance chose them but I'm glad they did! My driver was fast, friendly & very helpful! Thank you again sooooo much.
These are the most kind and trustworthy people that I have ever dealt with when it comes to towing my car they are family-owned local business and they go anywhere in Iowa open 365 days a year never stopping if you ever need a tow I highly recommend this place
Had our alternator give out on a road trip in late June, in the middle of a late-night thunderstorm near Atlantic, IA...quite an adventure! Our auto insurance app connected us with SGI, who were able to get to us first, even though it was a 1.5 hour drive. The driver (can't remember his name, sorry!) took us into Atlantic and went above and beyond to get our car dropped off at the right mechanic and take us to the hotel. He was polite and professional throughout. Highly recommend SGI!
Absolutely amazing people! We got a flat on the side of the interstate. They were friendly and helpful. They even dropped us off at our hotel so we didn't have to take extra time to Uber from where our car was dropped off. I 100% recommend them!
Quick and professional and even offered to help make sure we made it to our hotel safely from the garage after towing us. Definitely recommend anyone needing service in this area call this service!

Logan and his coworker(sorry I didn't get his name) kept me informed at every stage. Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and personable. I felt like my best friends were helping me out instead of some strangers from a faceless business. Highly recommend SGI. Thank you!

Shawn was awesome. He went above and beyond as always. Phenomenal care and genuine concern for the customer. I cannot say enough good things about him, SGI and the rest of their staff. Thank you to him and Sean for working so hard on such a hot day to get my vehicle where it needed to be.
Absolutely amazing service…. Towed our Chevy Silverado and our Toy Hauler, another one of their drivers picked me up and got me to the dealership before they closed. All three of the guys had smiles and best attitudes.
Logan at SGI was great along with his coworker. got a flat in Mason City and they drove all the way from Eagle Grove to come tow it back to Kanawha. They also except Wex Element! Thanks boys!
Had a great experience with SGI on towing a car a pretty long distance to a dealership. They were professional, friendly and extremely accommodating with some pretty unique weather circumstances.
I really didn't have "control" over who my manufacturer hired to tow the vehicle -- but was pleasantly surprised with my experience with SGI. I'd hire them again without hesitation.
11/10, couldn't be more perfect and would recommend to anyone. Sean quickly responded to my request for a roadside tow. He was able to immediately accommodate my need to tow to a different location. I was charged a very reasonable price for a 40 mile tow. His passion and care is immediately apparent as he is very gentle hitching the car and securing it. Sean even went out of his way to provide a quick tow to another location nearby when my car was refused.
Sean is a kind person, caring, professional and good at his job. I'm normally leery of towing services, but Sean has singlehandedly changed my perspective.

We had a flat on Hwy. 20 with cars and trucks whizzing by. Used my auto insurance app and they sent Derrick from SGI Towing. Super nice guy, took control of the situation and had us back on the road in no time.
On 2/18/23 I was traveling north on I-35 and the front driver’s side tire blew, fortunately near exit ramp 193 in Clear Lake Iowa; I opted to coast down the ramp and pull into a large parking area near the Kum and Go. For whatever reason, my phone call to AAA sent me to a California rep and ultimately I waited over 2 1/2 hours without any kind of response as to whether someone was actually on the way; I have another roadside assistance with my insurance Hartford, and although it was another couple of hours before someone arrived, Hartford at least kept me informed of when someone had been assigned and where they were in relationship to me. The two men who arrived to help me from SGI had quite a challenge because my PT Cruiser trunk periodically will not unlock and this was one of those times; and in order to crank down the spare tire that is under the car, the trunk by being closed interferes with that. What impressed me the most was these two men were determined they were going to help me whatever it took; and they figured out a way, which included having to go get a new tool at a nearby Walmart, so that they ultimately were able to crank down the spare and change out the tire! They were always friendly and polite and I am forever grateful how they spared no effort to help me. I highly recommend them!
My friend had a “dead battery” but could turn out to have possibly a different malfunction. The 2 drivers were very patient, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.
We woke up Christmas morning with a flat tire. We put in for a service request and honestly didn’t think anyone would come out to help us until the next day. We got a text within 15 to 20 minutes letting us know they had someone coming to help us. The gentleman who came out was Justin and he was great!! He was very friendly and pleasant. Great service and great employee attitude. To have someone come out on the holiday was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely use their company again and would definitely recommend them to others.

We had transmission problem and truck and 30ft Trailer with 2 big loads had to be towed. My husband's experience was so incredibly stress free and the people who towed him, were just the nicest ever.
