Sold me a bad engine even though I was told it "ran good". Mechanic guy has a bad temper and staff appeared to be a bunch of kids with their feet up when I went to go pick up.
I bought a used motor from them. I was very pleased with the service. I like their friendly family atmosphere in the office. Very good group of people to work with and I will be coming back. But if you have a problem with the motor they just wait out the 30 days and tell you it's on your shoulders now. Not happy with the service after the buy.
The staff are so kind, understanding, and helpful! We bought a vehicle from them recently and it is literally perfect. We were limited in our budget due to me being in college and being a one income household cause our son is disabled, but Kaitlyn went above and beyond to work something out for us. It was totally unexpected, but I cannot thank her/this business enough. We definitely will be coming back for future purchases!
Towed my car 10 miles and charged me over 800 dollars. Address on business card is not the same as physical address. Owners are rude and charged me $150 for 2 gallons of gas and a dead battery. Still unable to locate my mothers ring worth $200.00 and my car was dead when i went to pick it up. Car was still repossesed by K And C Motors due to missed $200.00 payment. Car was dead and unable to locate gps tracking device installed through verizon but was still charged 4% sales tax twice. Out $390.00 for 2 days storage due to no phone call.
This morning I was in need of a transmission for a nissan murano. I called my local salvage yard . No luck. They sent me to kar auto. Which is 1 hour 45 minutes one way. I called them at 9 am. The lady who answered was very professional, answered all my questions and she had a plan to have it off the vehicle by 5pm. I greatly appreciate the customer service from everyone there. I couldn't of asked for better help with what I needed. Great price. No complaints. Highly recommend. And just want to say thanks to Jake for getting it done for me.
This place is great.
I was able to locate a part I needed through their website and sent them an email about it. I received a follow up call within a half hour, and they had the part pulled and ready to go for me later that afternoon at an unbeatable price. The staff is very friendly and seem to genuinely want to help people. They even looked for an additional part that I asked about when I arrived. The part they checked on wasn’t in great shape, so they didn’t offer to sell it.

Called and talked to Mark & told him my situation, he had my car done in a more than timely fashion and I ended up with money in my pocket, as far as I am concerned we could use more auto repair shops like this, bottom line people we can trust. Was the worst place I've ever been. The staff was unprofessional and out right rude. They literally make it up as they go. They don't care about your situation and never mind the entire place looks and smells like a dump. Donr waist yout time with them. They will Just manipulate you out of your money.
Don't give this guy your credit card information up front! Very bad experience with this business and you won't get a refund for the wrong parts!! If you ask for a refund the guy freaks out and starts swearing at you!!! Very unprofessional, I'll never do business with them again!!!!!
I needed a Rim for my sons car. Annie was terrific, she found all sorts of options, she gave me great feedback based on her experiences and kept me in the loop during the entire buying experience because it wasn’t something they had in stock. I needed the part shipped to another location and Annie handled all of this for me and even followed up with the vendor to give me the tracking number. Excellent customer service, the entire team was great! Thanks for your help.
Worst shop/junkyard ever! Owner is a rude, greedy unprofessional that never even called me back over a two wk period. Refused to fix my fuel pump unless I ordered the part for $500 from him when it's $200 on rock auto. If you break down on 35w STAY AWAY FROM KAR PARTS LLC!!!
If you want good, honest, quality work, call these folks! I was visiting Northern Iowa when my BMW started blowing antifreeze so bad that I couldn't find the leak -- in Denver I could driven to a BMW servicer, in Iowa I'd have to tow 70+ miles to one. These folks came to me, got my car to their shop, found the leak, made a part (to save time and money), and I made it safely back home.
Wonderful. They pulled my car out of a snow bank after this last storm. First night of storage was free so I only paid for the tow. Friendly service, kind enough to call me on a Sunday and let me know they had the car. I would use them again if I ever had a need.
